ASTEROID MEMORIA: The Many Concepts of Memory with horoscopes that honour Asteroid Memoria in context (with three Memoria yods.) by Hilary Jane Margret Bond PhD.

Light the corners of my mind

Misty watercolour memories

Of the way we were

Scattered pictures,

Of the smiles we left behind

Smiles we gave to one another

For the way we were

Can it be that it was all so simple then?

Or has time re-written every line?

If we had the chance to do it all again

Tell me, would we?

Could we?

May be beautiful and yet

What’s too painful to remember

We simply to choose to forget

So, it’s the laughter

We will remember

Whenever we remember

The way we were

The way we were

From the song “The Way We Were” sung by Barbra Streisand & Lionel Richie.

The asteroid Memoria 1247 was discovered on 30 August, 1932, by Marguerite Laugier at the Royal Astronomical Uccle Observatory, Belgium.  Marguerite named this asteroid Memoria in memory of a “pleasant stay at the observatory.” But Memoria embodies so many phenomena, not just pleasant or jovial memories, but some manufactured by childhood horrors, some depressing, some horrifying, some false or habitually manufactured lies to enhance one’s narcissism. The list goes on and I discuss this memorable list in this article. So, let us go on a “Memoria” quest and visit all the “Memoria” places “Memoria” experiences and “Memoria” horoscopes.

I discuss an analyse two Memoria composite marriage horoscopes (one is Goldie Hawn’s)

and the astrological positions of Asteroid Memoria for:

  • the Memoria Discovery horoscope,
  • Ed Sheeran,
  • H.G. Wells,
  • Yehudi Menuhin,
  • Tom Bower investigative journalist,
  • Maya Angelou,
  • Frank McCourt,
  • Edgar Cayce,
  • Albert Einstein,
  • Queen Elizabeth II,
  • and Ted Hughes

This glamourous, shining couple were married in a cathedral.  Both their families were blessed with financial abundance and they were well known and loved in many circles.  The two fathers were handsome, charming and loved far and wide. The circumstances of this 1950s wedding resembled a Hollywood film. The ceremony, the honeymoon and the love were euphoric and there were many photograph albums full of their happy memories for seven years.

However, after Faith had her third child the rot set in. The beautiful memories did not last. He became tired of her behaviour. They came from different backgrounds. They had different beliefs. She became depressed. She began to gossip with emotionally unstable people.  He had affairs. After he cast her off, Faith’s mother relentlessly gossiped about him and his parents in order to destroy them as enemies.   Faith’s many uncles did all they could to see the children and their father and they tried to silence Faith’s mother (unsuccessfully.) Faith held the fantasies and the grief of her wonderful original memories of him until the day she died. She always wished he would suddenly be nice to her again and when his second wife left, she wished that her unrequited love was just a fantasy and her Prince Charming would return.

She became an overly enmeshed mother and a mother who needed mothering. The aggression between this couple hurt the children of this union very badly, for he waged war against her and her parents in the form of custody cases and court cases of restraint. Both Faith, her mother and their father and stepmother resorted to attempts of brainwashing the children. For the two younger children the terrible memories were irreparable. The eldest child  had seven years of happy memories. The courts ruled that she should be removed from the damaging effects of Faith’s vitriolic mother. From her early twenties she had years of healing and therapy and she became a healing guide for the daughters and sons of unions with ‘sad and terrible memories.’

How many marriages end up like this? How many children have memories of their parent’s battles, affairs, their abuse after the parents have divorced and the children are abused by stepparents?  What are our memories?

When Faith met George because he had visited the city with his wealthy friend for a show where there were dances every night for ten days. He came into the city after a hard year of work on his father’s giant ranch. He wasn’t a red neck or a farmer. He was highly educated, sophisticated and brilliant. He wasn’t gullible and naive like Faith. He had been bought up by his brilliant, wealthy uncle and his aunt who was of the country’s wealthiest women, one of the most travelled and most highly acclaimed for her spiritual evolution, her brilliance and hands on philanthropy. Consequently, George was erudite spiritually, mentally, and psychologically.  He was also, like Faith, privileged.

But Faith regardless of her private school education was not holistically educated. She was spoiled, naïve   and she knew little about the real world.   She went dancing every week with an engineer, who she should have married.  He was solid, dependable, steady, wealthy but compared to George dull.  Keith had proposed to Faith many times. But she told her daughter on her death bed that she should have married Keith even though she felt she did not feel passion for him.  George swept her off her feet and she forgot Keith.

Faith’s father had been born in the country but his parents, although they were popular and salt of the earth were not landed gentry. Faith’s paternal grandparents separated and eventually went to live in the city. Faith’s mother was a popular, but secretly bitter women; financially rich, but spiritually poverty stricken. Faith’s maternal grandparents were wealthy. They both died young and tragically. Faith’s mother took on her ancestor’s burdens and beliefs. Faith an only child, was damaged by her control freak mother who sadistically dominated her daughter and brainwashed Faith into believing she could be a princess, marry a rich man and have servants. Faith’s mother’s enmeshment crippled Faith and her father all their lives. Faith made exquisite clothes for Faith. Faith hated her mother but depended on her financially. But Faith refused to learn to cook or sew even though her mother tried to teach her. She cut up her mother’s clothes and her mother’s sadistic punishment was unspeakable. One of the reasons she married a man who did not live in the city was to escape her mother.

Faith entered her marriage to George with these unrealistic, fairyland beliefs.  George’s parents were hard working and popular.  They were part of a giant community of ranches where families depended on one another in times of shearing their sheep, mustering their thousands of cattle; coping in time of floods, hurricanes and twisters. Such a community was one where the women worked as hard as the men, rode horses just as well and both men and men cooked and sewed. They could not afford to have lazy, gossiping spouses or people who felt they were entitled or looked down on the people who worked for the families.  Noblese oblige was essential.

Faith did not understand any of these concepts. She was completely out of her depth where these people who had been wealthy and hard working for generations rarely married outsiders.  They found Faith lazy and strange and only a few of the women tried to help her fit in.  As a result, Faith made friends with the outsiders who were trouble makers and to the day she died she criticised George’s parents.

George rarely talked about Faith, except to try and make sure his children were safe.  He worked hard until his death and loved his practical second wife and died young from overwork.

Faith had anxious, insecure attachment, but George had a secure childhood.

Now let’s analyse Faith and George’s composite horoscope.

Here we have MEMORIA at 00 Virgo 39 minutes in the 9th house conjunct NEPTUNE & EURYDIKE. They are the apex of one yod and one of the legs of another yod. Thus, asteroid Memoria is vital in Faith and George’s horoscope.

Virgo should be adaptable, conscientious, health conscious and hardworking but although Faith was hard working as a teacher to her children she did not cook and George complained he had to cook for himself and was always visiting the district hospital with boils.  Faith was consistently ill.  Therefore, when we are looking at Virgo as the dominant sign in a yod we are analysing an archetype that may be unconscious or unaware in the people who inhabit the horoscope.  George and his parents and grandparents saw work as an ethic in their family. In reality it was the family shadow and the person who was aware of this shadow were seen as lazy, degenerate, useless and a trouble maker who should be removed. The work ethic was part of those wealthy landed gentry families who had giant sheep and cattle ranches. While Faith’s mother and father worked, they did not do the type of work that the country people did and they had no need to work with nature and the seasons. George’s family loved nature, the rains, the flowers and the worked with the seasons and weather and respected them. Faith did not understand this earth (Gaia) based way of thinking. This composite horoscope also has a 00-degree Capricorn (hardworking, earth) ascendant which trined Memoria conjunct Neptune in the ninth house.  The whole of George’s family had travelled the world and understood other cultures. Faith could not comprehend this.  This is part of a yod where there are huge placements of unawareness and lack of communication, like a house with no doors or windows.

Neptune conjunct Memoria suggests the subject has illusions, confusion, unrequited love and emotional turmoil from constant memories. Faith’s eldest daughter told me that Faith blamed George for sending her to a mental asylum at age 23. That is untrue because from age 16 Faith’s mother sent Faith to a mental asylum continually.  But Faith did remember the wildness of the (Neptunian) floods, tornadoes and windstorms and the monster sharks, crocodiles, snakes and huge fish when she travelled with a party of families on a three-week trip into places with no roads in the 1950s.

In the myth of Orpheus and his wife Eurydike, Eurydike looks back, like Lot’s wife and dies in Pluto’s world (becomes depressed as a result.)  Symbolically this conjunction can indicate depression. Thus, Memoria conjunct Eurydike suggests that it causes death and depression in any relationship (Faith and George’s two yods)

One wonders though when we see a composite chart with Memoria as the apex of a yod whether the couple were soul mates because a few days after Faith died (George had been dead for 20 years) Faith’s daughter told me she had seen a shaman who told her that she saw George who yelled out with joy, “Faith’s back. She’s back!” Faith’s daughter sobbed as I held her.

Before we look at some more case studies and their accompanying horoscopes I would like to briefly discuss the concept of memory itself and differentiate between different trypes of memory and the reasons behind these memories. There we see:

  • Memories and the limbic system in  our brain;
  • Memories that are trapped in our body;
  • Nostalgia: A. memories to soothe; B. memories to reminicse and memories to remember when times were better;
  • Memories to fantasise about;
  • Writing memoirs; 1. are they true or false ; 2. what do the authors leave out; 3. the type of person who writes vitriolic memoirs or airs their vitriol on an American television program and sues if anyone dares criticise their memories;
  • The concept of false memories;
  • Twisting memory by brainwashing toture, or constant verbal abuse;
  • The effect of yoga, tai chi, qi gong, emeditation and yogic breathing on memory;
  • The effect of memories on our body.
  • The concept of early childhood conditioning or animal imprinting;
  • The difference between the asteroid godess Mnemosyne and asteroid Memoria and goddesses of memory from other cultures.
  • False memories can also been gained by empaths, because they are osmotic.

MEMORY. 1. Nostalgia changes the brain.

Apparently  nostalgia is one of the 27 core emotions that human beings experience. Nostalgia is a contemplative, reflective feeling we get when we remember happy times. It can be triggered by a song that brings you back to a specific time in your life, or a smell that reminds you of holidays when you were a child, a taste of a food you ate in happy times, or even a feeling you had when you fell in love with your first baby or pet. Nostalic  memory depends on “chronological remoteness,”  and  “emotional and personal significance.” Nostalgia is the only feeling that connects memory and emotion in the brain.  It triggers the part of the brain that gives us ‘rewards’ and makes us feel positive, reduces anxiety and make us more optimistic our future. It makes us feel  less lonely; physically warmer and more euphoric or right brained. It can be used to break addiction patterns and reduce physical pain! It’s bizarre, but recalling happy memories from the past can improve our ability to cope with pain.  Nostalgia helps us experience self-continuity is a sense of connection with your past, present, and future self. In other words when looking at a photograph of you as  a teenager you remember what it felt like to be you at that time, thus more self-continuity you feel from nostalgic memories, the happier you are. Because nostalgia helps us remember our roots, and nostalgic people tend to reflect more on their lives. Nostalgic people are said to show more creativity in their writing than others  and we nostalgic people have a sense of warmth and belonging that makes it easier to open up and take risks or pursue new ideas.

MEMORY 2. Memory Distortion

Taylor Bennett in her aricle, ‘Memory distortion is real: Here’s why your brain creates false memories’ in Counselling News, Memory and Mental Health on June 24, 2019, states people rarely  second guess the authenticity of our memory, but the fact is that our minds do sometimes deceive us by creating false memories which are called  “illusory correlation.”  Here the mind incorrectly creates a relationship between two events. Taylor maintains that there are many forms of memory distortion are change bias, cryptomnesia, and egocentric bias, all of which can present themselves as actual memories. She suggests that we support your memory by journaling about your life, considering your biases, and giving yourself a chance to process the pleasant and unpleasant events.

  • Taylor talks about change bias which is a  phenomenon in which we remember a process being more challenging than it actually was; it’s brought on by the stress that comes with working toward a change or desired outcome through our own efforts.
  • Taylor tells us that cryptomnesia, another memory distortion, occurs  when our mind forgets when and where it learned something. Consequently, when we recall this memory later, we believe we solely created the information. Taylor suggested that we might read something and then copy it later, without realizing the words aren’t ours.
  • Taylor’s next account of memory distorion is egocentric bias is when we recall our accomplishments as being more impressive than they really were. For example a friend asked, “Remember, when you went running the other day; how fast  did you run?” You nodded. The friend asked, “Did you just exagerate?” You looked embarrassed and you  admited that you reported running a little faster or farther than you actually did.
  • Illusory correlation is the occurrence that many of the participants experienced in the previous study. Here our mind incorrectly creates a relationship between two events. In this case, the participants recalled the memory of seeing the plane crash footage because they were told it actually happened.

How Do False Memories Form?

Elizabeth Loftus, a researcher of memory functions, has provided very convincing insights into how false memories form and become mentally cemented. She claims that many false memories begin through suggestion. She explains her research in her book Memory: Surprising New Insights into How We Remember and Why We Forget.

False memory syndrome (FMS) is a worst-case scenario. Though it is not yet classified as a diagnosable mental disorder, it explains individuals who center their personalities around factually incorrect memories. The danger is that we become so fixated on the memory being true that we actively avoid any evidence or logic that would disprove it. This condition is extremely problematic, especially when observed in cases like sexual abuse. Still, more information and documented evidence is needed before FMS can become a fully-realized and recognized mental disorder.

MEMORY. 3. Brainwashing

The term “brainwashing” was first used in English by Edward Hunter in 1950 to describe how the Chinese government appeared to make people cooperate with them.  Other euphemistic terms for bainwashing are mind control, coercive persuasion, or  re-education and these are based on the belief  that our mentality can be changed by some psychological techniques which reduce our capability to think for ourself.  Significant cases have analysed the behaviour of soldiers in Nazi Germany,  the behaviour of  human traffickers, cult gurus, satanic ritual abuse, torture by criminals,  and parents of abused children. A so called brainwshing case was the 1970s case of Patty Hearst, a member of the wealthy Hearst family, who was kidnapped by a left-wing militant organization. Hearst was found guilty. Even though some psychologists argue that brainwashing causes “dissociative identity disorder” the legal and psychiatric world refuse to recognise this.

MEMORY 4. Memory and the limbic system

Largely, the limbic system comprises the following brain structures: Long-term memory is a type of memory that is encoded in the brain for years. It can be divided into two major groups: Explicit or declarative memory refers to the memories that are consciously recalled as episodes of life. Paul D. MacLean, as part of his triune brain theory, hypothesized that the limbic system is older than other parts of the forebrain, and that it developed to manage circuitry attributed to the fight or flight first identified by Hans Selye in his report of the General Adaptation Syndrome in 1936.

The wonderful and nasty memories we have from our childhood foods which correspond to our root chakra and our spiritual belief in the goodness of life

In 2005, Sara Lazar and her team of researchers completed a study on meditation and cortical thickness (a marker of brain aging), which showed that long-term meditation practitioners had less cortical thinning. But does yoga have the same effect? Researchers at Duke University conducted a study similar to Lazar’s, in which they compared long-term yoga practitioners, those who practiced for at least 45 minutes at a time, three to four times a week, for at least three years, and compared them to matched controls. The yogis showed greater grey matter volume in a number of different parts of the brain, including parts of the prefrontal cortex and the limbic system, areas related to stress and emotion regulation. Yoga seemed to protect the brain from the normal wear and tear of getting older.

Some research studies have shown that yoga may buffer against atrophy in the hippocampus, a part of the brain related to memory, emotion-regulation, and information processing. A small structure housed in the limbic system (the emotion centre of the brain), the hippocampus is essential to our overall mood and experience of the world. People with major depression and PTSD, for example, have smaller hippocampi volume than people without these conditions. Scientists believe that this part of the brain can be shrunk by stress and hypothesize that those with smaller hippocampal volume may be at increased risk of developing PTSD. Another study found that long-term yoga practitioners also benefited from decreased cortical thinning in parts of the prefrontal cortex (PFC), an area of the brain related to emotional control, decision making, and impulse control.

Meng Po is a Chinese goddess who looks like a benign woman. It is her job to make sure that souls about to be reincarnated do not recall their previous time on earth. She creates an herbal tea of forgetfulness, which is given to each soul before they return to the mortal realm.

Memoria is not a goddess; she simply is an asteroid who was named to remind the astronomer who named her about a pleasant memory.

Mnemosyne, in ancient Greek mythology, personifies memory, which is the root of all life and creativity. Mnemosyne apparently knows the past, present and future of all beings. When people died in ancient Greece they were taken to Lethe, the river of death in Greek mythology, which destroyed all their memories). In Indigenous peoples she symbolises oral memories such as sacred Druidic poetry or sacred songs passed down by word to those who are deserving of gaining such sacred knowledge.

Memoria was discovered in 1932; the 30th of August in Uccle, Belgium by a female astronomer; Marguerite Laugier. She named this asteroid Memoria after her pleasant memories at the observatory.

In the chart Memoria is at 23 degrees 40 minutes in Libra the sign of partnership, balance and need for beauty.

In the horoscope there is both a Memoria and a Cancer stellium. Therefore, the song The Way We Were which nostalgically remembers the misty images of a love affair is apt.

The Memoria horoscope is made up of three stelliums:

one in Cancer,

one in Leo and

one in Leo.

Except for these three stelliums with eight planets and numerous asteroids in them only Uranus in Aries and Saturn in Capricorn.  We can’t call it a fan chart.

In the Memoria horoscope there is a large solar stellium, with

  • JUPITER at 4 degrees Virgo conjunct
  • SUN 6 degrees Virgo conjunct
  • NEPTUNE 7 degrees Virgo conjunct
  •  JUNO 15 degrees Virgo 46 minutes conjunct
  • SOUTH NODE 17 degrees Virgo
  • This all suggests an intense, possibly obsessive, a hardworking, spiritual or imaginative person who has a business and technological bent. They may like cameras and photography and the sea. This stellium in Virgo suggests a great deal of compassion, good fortune, enthusiasm and optimism along with a hard-working side.

There also is a lunar Memoria stellium with

  • the MOON at 13 degrees Leo conjunct;
  • OPHELIA at 12 degrees conjunct;
  • NIOBE  14 Leo conjunct
  • APHIDAS  13 Leo conjunct,
  • ORPHEUS 18 degrees Leo conjunct;
  • MERCURY  19 degrees Leo
  • This stellium is a different kettle of fish with emotionally dramatic, but positive, romantic behaviour Moon. However, this stellium suggests an archetype of looking back, having too much self-importance, aa tendency to be easily upset and feeling overwhelmed easily.

There is a Mars- Venus-Memoria stellium with

  • Apollo 13 Cancer
  • APOPHIS 14 Cancer
  • MARS 16 degrees Cancer 28 minutes conjunct
  • CASTALIA 19 degrees Cancer 57 conjunct
  • VENUS 20 degrees Cancer conjunct
  • PLUTO 22 degrees Cancer

Again, this stellium suggests a different archetype. Venus in Cancer is sensitive and easily hurt and Marrs in Cancer is temperamental. Add Pluto to this you have a volatile and obsessive person, who could be evil or one who has been near catastrophes (Apophis), but could see their life as divinely inspired (Castalia). With Apollo added they may see themselves as a prophet and a healer.  Wow.

ALBERT EINSTEIN, probably the most amazing scientist ever known (for his Theory of Relativity [e= mc squared]),had his Memoria in Cancer at 9 degrees 53 minutes. Cancer is renowned for memories.  Einstein had his Memoria sextile Neptune in Taurus conjunct Tantalus and Diana suggesting his thirst for limitless and Nature- based possibilities in a practical way. His Vesta at 9 degrees Cancer conjuncted his Memoria and this tells us his hearth fire or core was his Memory and as Cancer to me embodies the Great Mother, Einstein’s memories are limitless and embody all his incarnations.   With Icarus in Aquarius and Altjira both quincunxing his Memoria it seems he was not afraid to visit the Divine to search for answers.  And with Admetos in Pisces trining his Memoria the gods and demi-gods were his friends and would always help him.  With Quaoar also conjunct his Memoria I consulted Alex Miller who suggests that, astrologically, Quaoar ( an Indigenous deity like Arente Aboriginal deity Aljira) is creativity personified; access to our internal connection with the divine. God bless wonderful Einstein.

MAYA ANGELOU, a wonderful African-American women who wrote her memoirs as a book called, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings had her Memoria at 21 degrees Taurus square her Ascendant in Leo at 23 degrees Leo and trine her Hygeia. Clearly her Memories gave her holistic good health and well-being and her square to her Ascendant meant that her mask or the persona that people saw when they first met Maya was not what her memories constituted.

Dr EDWARD BACH, physician and inventor of Bach Flower Remedies had his Memoria at 7 degrees Scorpio sextile Mnemosyne and quincunx his North Node in Gemini and quincunx his Kronos in Aries; square his Leo Moon. Here Memoria is the apex of a yod which quincunxes both Kronos and North Node.  This suggests his memories are giant but not part of his future.  His Memoria sextile Memoria symbolises that he may have bought past life memories into his Bach Flower incarnation. His Memoria-Moon suggests his vibrant emotional self is in contrast to his intense memories.

FRANK McCourt, the Irish author who wrote Angela’s Ashes, a memoir of his life, had Memoria at 22 Virgo conjunct his Mercury, and square his Moon conjunct Mars in Gemini. He also has asteroid Sphinx   sextiling his Memoria and Aphrodite and Rhadamanthus trining his Memoria. Sphinx-Memoria signified inscrutable memories and Aphrodite-Memoria meant memories of love affairs. Memoria-Rhadamanthus suggested honesty in his memories even though his mother screamed that what Frank wrote wasn’t true.  Memoria-Mercury clearly states that his memories aren’t just emotional, they are based on fact.   But the fact that Frank also has his Memoria square his Moon conjunct Mars suggests some traumatic memories of angry or dangerous events.

TED HUGHES, a famous British poet, had his Memoria at 21degrees Virgo conjunct asteroid Vesta and Iris, at 22 Gemini, sextile asteroid Hecate, sextile asteroid Terpsichore, trine his asteroids Aphrodite and Industria and square his Mars. He obsessively worried about his memories, which was not surprising as both his famous wife, Sylvia Plath and his son, both committed suicides.   Dark star Astrology states that Iris like Mercury, Iris bridges two worlds, carries the Caduceus, and connects to the underworld. That seems so for Ted because whatever he did women blamed him for Sylvia’s death and her memory plunged him into a nightmare world. Yet his Memoria conjunct Vesta suggests that his good memories were his hearth-fire, his core: the centre of his world, but square to his Mars they zapped his energy. His Memoria trine Aphrodite and Industria and sextile to Terpsichore symbolised his memories of his affairs and love for women where he danced through life and worked hard on his poetry. His sextile to Hekate suggests his connection to Nature and his wisdom.

MAYA ANGELOU, a lady of African-American heritage   wrote her memoirs in a book called Why the Caged Bird Sings. Her Memoria is at 21 degrees Taurus and its trines her Hygeia at 21 degrees Capricorn, her Mars at 20 degrees Pisces and 21 Venus Pisces.   Her Memoria-Hygeia signifies her earthy wellbeing; her Memoria-Mars tells us of her courage and her Memoria embodies her never-ending love.

TOM BOWER, a British investigative journalist of enormous calibre, with a background as a lawyer, has his Memoria at 9 degrees 24 minutes in the sign of Virgo. He researches meticulously, listening to people’s memories and hisown field research. With Nessus at 9 Taurus trining his Memoria he is the “pit bull terrier” type of journalist who leaves no stone unturned in exposing the mendacious character of his subjects, and their swindling and deceit. With Apophis at 9 degrees Scorpio sextile his Memoria Tom unearths destructive and unforgivable acts and cruelty in his subjects.  He has written biographies about Robert Maxwell, Prince Charles and Mohamed Al-Fayed and is now writing about a woman for the first time. Tom is the son of Jewish refugees, who escaped from Europe before the holocaust.

QUEEN ELIZABETH II has her Memoria at 20 degrees 54 minutes of Capricorn which indicates her memories from her parents of being practical and hardworking. For the American people who read this and her critics, she is, nevertheless a remarkable woman with many Memoria geometric aspects and therefore worthy of a Memoria post. Her asteroid Magdalena is at 19 degrees 58 minutes of Pieces. Her Memoria opposes Typhon 21 Pisces and trines Ixion 20 Virgo. In his brilliant article on Ixion Benjamin Adamah: “Ixion in Astrology – underlining the intrinsic Plutonic faculty of processing itself”, maintains that those with an Ixion archetype must gain an “awareness of good and evil; the confrontation with emerging ethical problems, often linked to technology, social issues, artistic projects, politics or literature; the construction of bad karma and inventions with a flip side.” All of these issues have emerged since Elizabeth became Queen in the 1950s and she has kept up with these issues including her appearances on Zoom. Benjamin continues that the “core of Ixion must remain unattached to ties, connections [and] results” and here we see Queen Elizabeth’s treatment of the Duchess of Winsor when her husband died, the ousting of Prince Andrew, the sensible handling of her grandson Harry and her general political impartiality. Typhon mythologically indicates storms, earthquakes and earth driven disasters and archetypally Typhon symbolises “an annus horribilus”. With all her children, except Andrew Queen Elizabeth has had to bear the public backlash of their divorces and now Harry seems to be a problem worse than Andrew. Both have loose lips that sink ships. She has also had to cope with her sister’s early death, the death of her beloved husband’s death and the burning of Windsor Castle. The metaphorical typhoons do not seem to stop and the media delights in them. Her Cupido is at 19 degrees Leo 56 minutes quincunxing her Memoria indicates her partnership with the houses of commons and lords and the various commonwealth departments as well as with her subjects as she is the most popular royal. Her Cupido-Memoria aspect also indicates her unequal relationship, long marriage and love for her husband who she has described as her rock. The Queen also has her Memoria conjunct her Ascendant and South Node, as well as her Magdalena sextile her Memoria.  Last but not least the Queen has Burney conjunct her Memoria, South Node and Ascendant. Burney is the name of the asteroid that was named by Venetia Burney the little girl who named the new planet Pluto discovered by Percival Lovell. What, may you ask, is so important about Burney? Venetia named Pluto after Pluto the canine cartoon character who was Mickey Mouse’s best friend. Mickey was a clown. The Queen loves to clown around and she has an uncanny ability to mimic anyone and anything, so although she is a Queen, she always sees the funny side of everything and this is probably why she seems to tolerate such much that others would totally lose their cool over.

ED SHEERAN is an English singer, songwriter, record producer, musician, actor, and businessman. Sheeran has sold more than 150 million records worldwide, making him one of the world’s best-selling music artists. He is also a truly delightful and nostalgic person. He was influenced by Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Elton John, Van Morrison, Eric Clapton, The Beatles, Nizlopi, Taylor Swift and Eminem. His Memoria at 26 degrees Leo tells us about bright, shining, magnetic people, times and events and children, even his own childhood. His Memoria conjuncts his Logos in Leo which speaks of the words of his songs, Selene in Leo (abundance and fruitfulness), his Eurydike in Leo which suggest not looking back. His nostalgic songs are Bad Habits, Beautiful People, I don’t Care, South of the Border and Afterglow.  His Memoria opposes his Sun in Aquarius which suggest that part of him is modern and technological and the other side a bundle of fun. North Node in Capricorn is also quincunx Ed’s indicating his practical public side which because Ed is so wise incorporates his delightful Memoria in Leo fun showman side. With his Hidalgo in Aries opposing his Memoria Ed donates money from his concerts, his clothes to charity and he encourages other stars to help him raise money for needy people and hospitals.

H.G. WELLS the famous writer who wrote The Time Machine (1895), which was his first novel, The Island of Doctor Moreau (1896), The Invisible Man (1897), The War of the Worlds (1898), also anticipated the arrival of aircraft, tanks, space travel, nuclear weapons, satellite television and the World Wide Web. He had Memoria at 2 degrees Gemini, the sign of the thinker, with asteroid Child at 2 Pisces, South Node in Aries, Klio the asteroid of story tellers at 2 degrees Leo; Hades at 2 degrees Aquarius, Mnemosyne at 2 degrees Gemini and Ceres at 1 degree Libra. Let’s start with his Memoria’s relationship (square) to Child at 2 Pisces. When he was 8 years old he had an accident in 1874 that left him bedridden with a broken leg. His father, a “freethinker” bought him books from the local library and he immersed himself in other worlds and other lives. The also stimulated his desire to write. His mother at that time became a housekeeper at a great house where H.G. Wells could read a variety of classical literature. Now we move to the relationship between Memoria and Ceres (Libra) where embodies cycles of transformative growth return, attachment in relationships, and self-nurturing.  With Pluto conjunct his Hygeia in the 2nd house as well as his Ceres trine Memoria, we see Wells studying at the Normal School of Science in London, studying biology under Thomas Henry Huxley. His scholarship was 21 shillings (a guinea) which should have been a lot of money and yet his autobiography suggests he was always hungry and thin. His Hades trining his Memoria tell us about memories of weighty emotional issues which no doubt were the many woman in his life and the children they produced. The titan Mnemosyne, mother of the nine muses does create our memories, our creativity, our flashes of insight, storytelling, foreseeing, envisaging, and I believe our past life memories and interdimensional memories.  In HG Wells case he certainly was a prodigy  with his Memoria and Mnemosyne conjunct he must have been a type of literary Mozart who had been Ovid or Euripides in another lifetime.

YEHUDI MENUHIN had his Memoria at 12 degrees Aries 55 minutes. He had Aphrodite 12 Cancer square Memoria, which suggests his never-ending challenge for love and his life in the arts. His Cyllarus was placed at 12 Virgo quincunxing his Memoria. Cyllarus was a beautiful centaur, but he foolishly became involved in the battle with the Lapiths and was killed. He also was part of an enmeshed and co-dependent relationship with his wife Hylonome who committed suicide when Cyllarus died. This memory seems to embody his second wife who gave up her career to help Menuhin’s career, even though she wished she had not done so. Cyllarus and Hylonome symbolise physical beautiful but psychological instability and this seems to describe his second wife, Diana Gould, was a ballet dancer, who was described by Anna Pavlova as the only English dancer she’d seen who “had a soul”, and by Arnold Haskell as “the most musical dancer the English have yet produced” (Sydney Morning Herald, February 6, 2003.) The Sydney Morning Herald also wrote Diana’s words in an autobiography; “If one performing artist marries another,” she wrote in her autobiography, Fiddler’s Moll, in 1984, “it is obvious that one of the two must dissolve his or her persona in the other”. His Eurydike at 11 Cancer squared his Memoria. Perhaps this aspect embodied his need to stay in the present and not agonise over his life. His Panacea sextiled his Memoria and he was health conscious, having two hearing aids and eating organic food. His Sila-Nunam conjuncted his Memoria. Sila is the Inuit deity of the sky, weather, and life force who breathed life into humans. Nunam is his female counterpart, an Earth divinity who created the land animals. Together they created mankind.  Astrologically they indicate joyful partnership, fertility and abundance. We can see Yehudi Menuhin’s great love of and gratefulness for his amazing life in his Memoria- Sila Nunam conjunction. Again, this seems to indicate Menuhin and his wife’s partnership.   We can see how adjectival asteroids can be.

 ~ A 35-year relationship full of happy memories ~

They are one of the most famous, archetypally in love and long-lasting couples in Hollywood. She is in her mid-seventies and he is 69. This famous souple have been together for over 35 years on non – marriage and loving commitment to each other and their family.

They in 1966 while filming, The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band, but she thought that at only 16 he was much too young for her. It wasn’t until 1983 that they acted together on the film of Swing Shift. They made love the first night and it’s been “and they lived happily ever after.”

In 2017, Hawn told The Late Late Show With James Corden that she and Russell had recently watched Overboard.  “You know how sometimes you forget why you fell in love? I remembered everything, and why I fell in love. And it was really something to be able to watch that.”

She said Russell praised her performance in the film as they watched. “He said, ‘Honey, that was so great, you did that so good…’ It was just a shared love of each other and it was a turn-on, actually.”  Over the years, the couple kept starring in movies, with Hawn’s hits including The First Wives Club and Russell’s including Backdraft. They supported Oliver and Kate’s acting careers, and in 2002, moved to Vancouver to support Wyatt’s ice hockey career.

“Any father would be blessed to be gifted with the lifetime you have brought me. Goldie, to you, I owe my wonderful life. Simply put, Goldie, I cherish you.”

MEMORIA SITS AT 27 DEGREES SAGITTARIUS.  It exactly conjuncts Salacia and Nemesis

The Memoria-Salacia-Nemesis stellium is in a grand trine with

  • Ascelepius 28 degrees Leo conjunct Sphinx 28 Leo
  • Atlantis 26 Aries conjunct Hades 27 Aries conjunct Mnemosyne 28 Aries conjunct Amycus 26 Aries

THIS FIRE GRAND TRINE reveals great passion and energy in this relationship.   There is no stress and tension, much inspiration, harmony, idealism, sharing of pleasures and the grand trine can be compared to the ease sliding down a water slide. In the grand trine Goldie and Kurt enjoy happy sexual memories and an appetite for fun sex (Salacia) and deservedness (Nemesis) for the love they share with their family, inspiration for lovers and the world at large.

The Ascelepius in Leo part of the Grand trine suggests, according astrologer, Alex Miller, healing of some kind, whether it be cures, for physical or mental ills, or an attraction to homeopathic or alternate healing methods. It seems the energy of Kurt Russell and Goldie as a couple are a healing force for everyone around them.

Now let’s look at their grand square. A square always indicates challenges as well as accomplishments and dynamic action which can be seen as stepping stones on your quest and building blocks for your psychological house. Café Astrology tells us that a “Grand Square is the most intense quadrangular configuration. It encloses the person in a framework of severe constraints, which are perceived as pressing.” Kurt Russell admits that their relationship is not perfect. They both have previous marriage and they both have children from other marriages, but here we have a mutable grand square which suggests that the couple are flexible in their relationship.

The Memoria-Salacia-Nemesis stellium is in a GRAND SQUARE with

  • The Ascendant in Virgo conjunct Alexandra 29 Virgo
  • Chaos 26 degrees Pisces & Arete 27 Pisces
  • Erynia 27 Gemini conjunct Uranus 28 Gemini conjunct Midheaven 28 degrees Gemini

Asteroid Alexandra (54) was named for German explorer, traveller polymath, explorer, naturalist,  and exponent of Romanticism, Alexander von Humbolt, who was one of the first scientists who discussed human caused climate change. The name Alexandra comes from an old rhyme: “A sea king’s daughter are thee, but all the Normans, Saxons and Danes welcome thee.” So we have here  open-minded, loving, non-stereotyping people who love nature,  and have an awe of God’s wonders (which is the true meaning of Romanticism.) The Virgo ascendant embodies a persona of humanity, practicality and industriousness. This is one angle.

The next angle, in spiritual Pieces, is Arete which means virtue across the board, so we see a delightful couple who  embody archetypal astrological, Chaos which spiritually represents the infinite possibilities of the void or Bardo. Shamanic healers know the void because it is where life came from.

And the last ninetydegree angle of this grand square in Gemini embodies the MC, Erynia and Uranus. Gemini symbolises versatility and curiosity; the twins. Uranus in Gemini is innovative and quick to grab new ideas. Along with the forgiving, compassionate nature of Erynia their public image  is clever and somewhat rebellious about the norms of society.

I love asteroid Memoria with its many permutations and combinations. Always remember that we have a brain and nervous system with infinite neuroplasticity. Louis Hays and numerous flexible medicos tell us that we can cure mental and physical disease by changing our thoughts. Thus if you are prone to bleak memories, you can begin new memories right this second and as an energy healer-medicine women who is a tool for the divine to heal people have neuroses I practice soul retrieval. This means that your memories get stuck in the bleakness of trauma.

You can also do yoga, meditation and correct breathing. You can practice cognitive-behavioural self-therapy and do thought stopping to change your stinking thinking.

You can change your memories in 3 to 6 months and forget the pain of the past and be like Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.

I wish you all the love in the world. I see infinite possibilities in my life. I hope you can too.

With love and blessings and happy memories to you from,

I have been searching for details about minor planet House (4950) for ages. I finally found today (12th of July, 2021 at 6:40 pm) after much searching that minor planet House was discovered at Palomar on the 7th of December 1988 Elinor Francis Helin.

I admit to great excitement.

I rectified this chart for 2 am.

While ususually I would look at the planets in a disscovery chart I choose to analyse the aspects to Asteroid House itself and as a Child grows up in a house I find it significant that Asteroid Child is 6 degrees Libra , in a square to asteroid House, therefore I pay particular attention to these two asteroids.

I then will analyse the planets when I complete looking at all the asteoids arouund 4-6 degrees that aspect House and Child.

Asteroid House (5 Cancer) and is conjunct Chiron (5 Cancer), who is our knowledge bearer and inner healer who learns through suffering .

Asteroid Child (6 Libra) is our inner child. When it touches a personal part of another person’s chart, one may feel as if she/he can act like a child again. It reveals where you relate most strongly to the experiences of being a child, both the traumas and the joys. This activation in your Human Design is a place where you can explore reuniting with your inner child in a way that brings her magic into the present.

Asteroid Circe (6 Aquarius) . She is a helpful influence, offering wise advice and specialized information that can help  others to be empowered to  overcome their problems.

Asteroid Elpis (6 Sagittarius) which is conjunct Asteroid Phographica and quincunx House , symbolizes hope.

Asteroid Photographica (5 Sagittarius) which quincunxes House, (takes photos of significant memories which are connected to our limbic system. They are good or bad.

Asteroid Urania (5 Capricorn), which opposes House, symbolizes astrology, astronomy and Universal Love and the Holy Spirit (the violet flame).

A female centaur Hylonome (6 Virgo) which trines Asteroid House embodies  grief, pain, suicide, poor boundaries in love, inability to separate one’s self from one’s partner.

Asteroid Sphinx 6 Gemini which quincunxes Asteroid House is any person or thing which defies understanding, particularly of its motivations, aims or goals.

& Asteroid Altjira 6 Taurus (sextile Asteroid House) are of great importance in this chart because they all aspect ASTEROID HOUSE. Altjira is a major Australian Aboriginal Spirit Creation Ancestor  who bought the world into being by singing. A belief in the divine for those connected with the Indigenous world and mythology.

Child is one of the 12 Jungian archetypes and is known as the Innocent.

Asteroid Child is in the sign of Libra which is ruled by Venus.

Venus is in intense, regenerative Scorpio conjunct Moon conjunct Hygeia and conjunct Pluto. This is a feel-good transformative placement.

Child   is part of a yod with Photographica and Altjira.

Child is the apex of a cardinal T -square with the House, Chiron, Hebe, Aphidas stellium.

Child is part of an air Grand Trine with Circe and Sphinx.

Asteroid house  is the apex of a yod with Elpis-Photographica and Circe.

The first configuration I wish to examine and analyze if a stellium between House 5 -6 degrees Cancer, Chiron = 5 degrees, Hebe = 5 degrees and Aphidas = 6 degrees.

Asteroid House of course is the whole of ourself from the subconscious in the basement to the superego in the attic. That would include our shadow, our persona, our anima or animus. The self is not only the center, but the whole circumference, which embraces both the conscious and the unconscious. It is the center of this totality, just as the ego is the center of our consciousness. The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego personality.  No one can be aware of their shadow without a great struggle where we challenge our ethics, honesty and honour.

Asteroid Aphidas While the Lapiths fought the Centaurs Aphidas was in a drunken sleep, so while he is inoffensive.  kind, compassionate and empathetic he is unaware and inattentive and drunk which is the opposite of House’s need to be conscious.

Asteroid Hebe   was her mother Juno’s (Hera’s) cupbearer. Thus, astrologically Hebe represents service, especially household or domestic service, but also related to food service, such as waiters and waitresses. Hebe can also indicate sexual attraction for persons under legal age, but sexually mature. In her capacity as servant, she can also indicate issues with enabling which is where one is reminded of the low consciousness of the centaurs, even though her parents are gods not barbarians. She is in a liminal zone here, but her father was sexually licentious.

Chiron who was also inadvertently at the fight between the Lapiths and Centaurs is pure and noble, but he is fatally wounded at that event by one of his ex-pupil Hercules’ arrows.

Asteroid House seems to be the environment or place where all this tragedy occurs, but house seems to stay aloof.  If we look at Asteroid House’s attic perhaps, we see the immorality of the Centaurs who are not related to Chiron as a shadow lurking down there, but regardless of his wound Chiron sits up in the attic as the superego. The superego is the ethical component of the personality and provides the moral standards by which the ego operates. The superego’s criticisms, prohibitions, and inhibitions form a person’s conscience, and its positive aspirations and ideals represent one’s idealized self-image, or “ego ideal.”  Chiron’s cave is his home/house and the cave is thought to be closely related to the symbolic heart and is often a place where the self and ego unite. he part of the psyche which organizes and directs all other elements of our psyche (or psychological being). The Self is the totality of the psyche. This means that its viewpoint contains objectivity, acceptance, reconciliation, balance of the psyche. The center of the psyche (comparable to the nucleus of an atom) to which the other parts are connected and subordinate. The Self is a transcendent, unchanging part of ourselves and can be the “God-image” within the psyche. Jung identified Jesus Christ, the central figure of the Christian faith, as the exemplification of the archetype of the Self.

WITH HOUSE in Cancer (conjunct Chiron) AS APEX QUINCUNXING ELPIS (CONJUNCT PHOTOGRAPHICA in Sagittarius ) & CIRCE in Aquarius

As we can see House as a possible holistic psyche full of well being ( but because of Chiron conjuncting it :brilliant , pure, compassionate but wounded in the area of emotions (both are in Cancer)  and with a quincunx to  Elpis (which means hope or hopeful or when afflicted, shows disappointment or lack of hope) we wonder whether House is depressed because of memories stored in the limbic system (Elpis conjunct Phographica) of times when life was full of adventures or travels. If we see House as quincunxing Circe, House may feel Circe seduced or bewitched him/her possibly in a Neptunian affair.  But if we look at Elpis-Photographica sextiling Circe, the Circe who House possibly has a love affair with was helpful, wise and gave specialized information in technology (Aquarius) that could help Elpis-Photographica for their travel articles.

House conjunct Chiron is opposite Urania in Capricorn and they are both square Child.  Clearly it is a challenge for Libran Child who loves lollies, chocolates, hates making decisions and loves butterflies, flowers and beauty to understand the complexities of Urania and House. The stars (Urania) are pretty says Child and I would like my house to have a white picket fence and flowers says the innocent inner child. But what if child is wounded because Child has Asteroid Atropos conjunct it.

Dark Star astrology says Urania was the goddess of astronomy which was the same then as astrology. She is also associated with Universal Love and the Holy Spirit. Joanne Madeline Moore says through the celebration of imagination and celestial knowledge, Urania can help lift our minds and spirits to heavenly heights. She is the muse of astrophiles, space cadets and cosmic connoisseurs, and is prominent in the horoscopes of astrologers and people who have a keen curiosity about the vast and mysterious cosmos.

  1. Astrologer JEFFREY WOLF GREEN  (founder of Evolutionary astrology).

J.W.G.  had his 22 degrees Aquarius  conjunct his Moon in  Aquarius.

He also had his Uranus in Gemini trining his asteroid House and his Mercury 21 degrees of Scorpio.  His house is in his 2nd house (no pun intended.)  His Asteroid House,  and his Moon were both ruled by Uranus and Uranus trines his Asteroid House. Uranus is the symbol of the Higher Mind but Uranus is also  one of the relationship oriented planets in the horoscope along with  Mercury (intellect, cognitive processes), and here Uranus is the higher “ octave ” of Mercury. It is also the rebel and the genius in terms of the uniformity of mass consciousness.  Donna Cunningham sees Uranians as Uranian people as achingly lonely people, who have little choice but to strike out on their own, they are impelled to action by restlessness, a creative itch, and a discomfort with the status quo.  I should know because I am one of them. A Uranian conflict with the bell-curve norms of society. The more Uranians express their individuality, the more starkly they stand out against the conforming masses, and the more vulnerable they become to society’s fear of people who are different. JWG’s Moon conjunct House suggests a psyche that is whole and unified and has refined his emotions into universal forces such as pure love.  In the 2nd house JWG’s values are driven to be holistic  and at one with the highest dimensions. JWG’s Mercury in deep Scorpio  squares House and this suggests his ability to scan the depths of the link between Man and God.

  • Psychiatrist CARL GUSTAVE JUNG   also has a strong House-Uranus aspect. His House in Leo is ruled by his Sun in Leo which conjuncts his descendant in Leo which explains his fascination with the psyche and people’s psyche’s.  His Sun also squares his Neptune which conjuncts his IC. Ideally, the IC is our home, our house or our roots.    Jung’s Moon in solid, grounded Taurus squares his asteroid House.  The placement of asteroid House in these two horoscopes of these two men   is amazing similar.

Ephemeris of the HOUSE  HOROSCOPE.

Child  = 6 degrees Libra   CONJUNCT Atropos = 5 Libra ,

Circe = 6 degrees Aquarius ,

Lilith 5 degrees Scorpio 58,

Urania = 5 degrees Capricorn,

16 Libra Ascendant conjunct Osiris 14 Libra

Pluto 13 degrees Scorpio conjunct Ambrosia 14 degrees Scorpio,

Moon Scorpio 19 degrees  CONJUNCT Venus =17 Scorpio, conjunct Moon = 19 Scorpio  ,

Sun = 15 Sagittarius conjunct Mercury 18 Sagittarius conjunct Cassandra,

Uranus = 00 Capricorn conjunct Saturn 2 degrees Capricorn,

Neptune 9 Capricorn conjunct Erynia 11 Capricorn,

Atlantis 20 Capricorn conjunct Arete 23 Capricorn,

Hecate 13 Pisces , Mars 9 degrees Aries,

Jupiter 29 degrees Taurus

The Sun represents our Ego. It is who we are, and it is the core ingredient that goes into making up our personality and influences the flavor of all of the other planets in our charts. It is the essential foundation of a person.

Our Sun helps to create a healthy ego which means confidence and self-importance. It is the focusing of will power, and capacity into positive action. It is also the creation of coherent self-image. The source of life, the Sun is also the source of our happiness and wellbeing.

This Sagittarius Sun may need freedom and adventure, so asteroid Child in this horoscope is vital.

This sun is one of the 12 Jungian archetypes and is known as the Explorer. states that this archetype tells us: “Don’t fence me in.” They desire: “the freedom to find out who you are through exploring the world.” Their goal is “to experience a better, more authentic, more fulfilling life”. They fear: “getting trapped, conformity, and inner emptiness.” Their strategy: journey, seeking out and experiencing new things, escape from boredom” Their weakness maybe endless searching, lack of peace & aimless wandering & becoming a misfit/drifter. Their talent is “autonomy, ambition, being true to one’s soul.”

Their house maybe a a gypsey van, a caravan towed behind a car, a tent, swag or even a house to renovate or be the manager or carer for. They may have a dog or may travel by horse or camel. They may write travel articles.

The Sun sextile Osiris 14 Libra to gain ego regeneration and squares asteroid Hecate 13 Pisces in a challenge to always be wise at the crossroads of life.

This Sun is a clever, communicative Sun, who needs, exercise and the outdoors, as it is conjunct Mercury at 18 Sagittarius.

The Sun in this House discovery chart is ruled by Jupiter in Taurus which stabilizes and grounds this sun and prevents it being a puer eternus. Jupiter quincunxes Uranus in Capricorn in this chart.

In this archetypal House they may live in the office together adding up their finances together or on their farm growing their next lucrative crop. Thank goodness they both are in earth signs.  They add to the predominant groundedness and earthiness of this chart.

THE HOUSE DISCOVERY CHART SUN also exactly conjuncts Cassandra. This is a very feeling chart so this is not surprising. Cassandra embodies the archetype of medial knowledge. Unlike the ancient world there are few shrines or sacred places to honor her way of knowing. Cassandra signifies the need to be aware of our medial skills and intuitive knowledge and seek training to help strengthen the ability to use this skill and not be overwhelmed by it. When Cassandra appears in a significant placing in our horoscope, she inspires the individual to find a voice for the medium through understanding the symbols, images, signs and omens of unconscious language. She embodies the ancient ways of knowing in a culture that no longer values prophecy and divination. Her knowledge is not objective but oracular. To embrace Cassandra we must abandon logic, separateness and rationality and enter into the irrational world where meaning is revealed through feeling and connectedness. However, Cassandra reminds us that in a scientific and ordered society our knowing may be rejected. Cassandra inspires us to have strong principles, a strong and healthy individuality about our beliefs.

Oracular knowing springs out of the collective through an unconscious and unbound participation with everything in the environment. When the veil between the worlds is lifted, we enter into other dimensions, into the house of the spirits of the world beyond us and may be called to act as their surrogate for their messages.       THE ARCHETYPE OF ASTEROID HOUSE

ASTEROID HOUSE IS IN CANCER IN THE DISCOVERY CHART embodies the Caregiver or Mother archetype likes to help others and protect and care for everyone.  They are clever, generous, imaginative, sympathetic, and compassionate. They hate people not thanking them.  hey can easily become a martyr or a victim. Like the Cancer South Node, they adore their home and children and family and her home, her children and her family come first in her life. But she can be moody and overly emotional and unable to let go.

The Sun in this Asteroid House discovery chart is ruled by Jupiter in Taurus which stabilizes and grounds this sun and prevents it being a puer eternus.

Elinor named it in honor of R. C. House, western novelist and journalist who has served, for the last 23 years, as editor of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory’s internal publication ‘Universe’. He has been responsible for this highly regarded chronicle of life at “the Lab” until his recent retirement. He captured for his readers the true spirit of the world’s leading space exploration center. His natural warmth endeared him to all he had contact.

So, we know this asteroid lends us natural warmth, possible professional writing abilities and an interest in astronomy.

Caroline Myss in her book Sacred Contracts: Opening your divine potential states, “In symbolic archetypal terms a house represents the whole of the self from the subconscious in the basement to the superego in the attic.”

In the Bible, “A wise man who built his house on the rock” is not ruined by rain, and strong winds, because it had its foundation on the rock, whereas “a foolish man who built his house on sand” loses his house and possessions when storms come into his life.

The condition of the house reflecting your mental state as you experience something. Rich houses symbolize your perspective on issues where you are powerful and resourceful. Poor houses represent your perspective on issues where you are powerless or emotionally weakened. If you discover a new room in your dream house associated with positive feelings: new area of life will open or desires to open if you’ll cooperate.

To dream of a house being on fire represents feelings of powerlessness to stop some area of your life from being lost for good. It may also reflect angry destructive intentions or intentional harm that can’t be stopped. Feeling stupid that you can’t do anything about stopping damage to some area of your life. A situation may feel permanently out of your control in a negative way.

To dream of buying a house represents your commitment to integrating something into your life. To dream of cleaning your house represents self-improvement. You may be fine-tuning an idea you have or trying to perfect something. Unnecessary beliefs or habits are being removed or changed.

To dream of a new house represents a new perspective or mindset on a situation. A new way of thinking about something. To dream of an old house represents a perspective or mindset that is experienced, tried, and trusted.

In a dream, water most often symbolizes emotions, so a dream about a flood or tidal wave can indicate being surprised and overwhelmed by feelings. If the water engulfs your house, it can indicate immense, powerful, and unruly emotions that threaten to swallow and suffocate everything in their path. However, flooding can sometimes be a positive dream symbol if the dreamer feels invigorated, cleansed, or released by the water.

If we remember that the house represents ourself, this dream might be interpreted as a straightforward indication that we feel as though someone or something were trying to break in, steal, burgle, vandalize, or lay claim to ourselves without our invitation. A forced entry is, by definition, destructive. Perhaps your body, mind, life, time, consciousness, or psyche has been encroached on by someone or something without your permission, and your boundaries have been breached against your will.

Dreaming of a bathroom often relates to how well we are cleansing ourselves and letting go of what no longer serves us. The bathroom is often a place where we “let go” and allow ourselves to be our most authentic or vulnerable selves.

Bedrooms in our dreams can help us understand our most intimate and private aspects of self. The bedroom may reflect those intimate thoughts, feelings, desires, and aspects of who we are that we don’t share.

Although still personal in nature, the living room is the place where we interact with others and may represent the more public, shared, and collaborative parts of our lives. The living room could represent the part of ourselves we invite others to experience or allow others to see.

In many ways, the kitchen is the heart of the house. It is the place we prepare meals, store food, clean, and informally gather with friends and family. Dreams of the kitchen often reflect our heart and soul, how we are fed and what we are preparing spiritually, and what is nourishing our mind, body, and soul.

The dining room can relate to both the kitchen and the living room. It is a social area of the house. It is also a room we associate with food and nourishment. This area of the house in a dream is often associated with what we are nourishing our mind, heart, and spirit.

Houses can also tell us other things about your personality.

If you are a minimalist and decorate your house accoringly you only have essential and do not have flamboyant colours or extravagent displays of wealuth. You tell the world psychologically that you are self-confident, organized, and maybe, Virgoish a little introverted.

Like the Virgoish minimalist if you copy the Scandinavian type of interior decor you are probably appreciative, cheerful, friendly, open-minded, and generous. This style is known as hygge, which gives a feeling of coziness and contentment that enriches one’s wellbeing. This Hygge type house would have to be a Hygeia persona or a Vesta.

In contrast the minimalist, baroque styles are rich, 17th century Italian, splendid and elegant. Who else but a dominant Leo/5th house or solar person would be this extroverted, dramatic, energetic, and elegant. This style is

A classic interior design in your house in white and off white, with some elegant plants exhilaerates in all the typical “design rules” and has the basic foundation of traditional design at their core. This person tends to be a traditionalist, genuine, high-minded, intelligent. This house type person could only be a Capricornian-tenth house or Juno person.

ASTEROID HOUSE IN ARIES.  How big is your mask or persona? Do you need to be more truthful to others about who you really are?  Or is your persona totally you? I have seen people with asteroid house here and they are definitely not faking. They are, “I am what you see. I am what you get.”

Asteroid HOUSE IN GEMINI – the anima; do we need to look at the feminine side of our male psyche.

ASTEROID HOUSE IN CANCER which suggests your subconscious needs work and we   may need to look at how much our roots are influencing our shadow.

ASTEROID HOUSE IN LEO.  Does your inner child need work? Are you conscious or unconscious of your inner child?

Asteroid HOUSE IN SCORPIO. Do your ancestors rule your life?

Asteroid HOUSE IN SGITTARIUS.  Does your religion or your beliefs rule your house?

ASTEROID HOUSE IN CAPRICORN- Your house will be conservative. Basically, you are   a person who does live in your super-ego (the attic of your house.) A cluttered attic may mean you are feeling overwhelmed and with thoughts or ideas. Clutter may indicate that we are not processing or letting go of things.

ASTEROID HOUSE IN PISCES.  You need to do shadow work.

I do hope this research lays some light on the symbology of asteroid House and its connection with the Mother Archetype, your inner child and Jungian parts of your Self.

Please write to me if you need help.

Trust what you can’t see. Keep going even if the ground is wobbly . Show up everyday – no matter what. Go to where wild flowers are . Say thank you for all of it : the weeds, wildflowers, wobbly ground, the struggles and the heartache. It’s all a doorway; a hand leading you back to grace and a portal to the Divine.

Your soul will always wish that you want your life back from when you were whole.

Your soul will ask you to collect and retrieve parts of yourself that dissociated or have hidden because of trauma along the way; from the time you were conceived too now. These parts might be your voice, compassion, truth, confidence, self respect, courage, boundaries and groundedness. With knowledge about yourself, psychotherapy, spiritual healing from the divine, all your parts of yourself will return and you will re-member them. Together we will find them and gather them into all your chakras.

The clients who ask for my healings have many different backgrounds. My aim is to serve in a compassionate way, especially to those people who are poverty stricken and often seem incurable.  I primarily heal with an aim to create for client-patients a new habit and belief that they are full of psychological peace, calm, courage and monetized abundance in their lives.

  1. You may identify with the clients I have worked with since 1983.
  2. Some of my client-patients have had devasting abuse from parents, caregivers and partners.
  3. These verbally and physically abusive parents and caregivers embody Mars-Pluto. (a) Many of these client-patients escaped the abuse early by working even at pre-teen age (b) but most are left with severe trauma, anxiety, specific fears and severe self-sabotage from endlessly being told how worthless they are. They have been neglected, bullied and some were raped continually (all of which is a crime and is a jailable offence. I worked in this area of “Child Safety” in Australia in 2011).
  4. Some of my patients had neglectful, cold, unfeeling (Uranian) caregivers. (a) some have been able to forgive these caregivers. (b) However, some have hung onto their hatred and bad memories and (c) some like to feel that they punish their cruel parents, but unfortunately by doing this they punish themselves and waste precious time in their lives when they could be having fun and be lighthearted. Here we look for the presence of these asteroids:  the three Norns (Urda, Werdandi and Skuld) and the Greek Fates (who were the archetypes for witches of Macbeth, Atropos, Klotho and Lachesis, also known as the Erinyes or Nemesis. I look specifically for these asteroid old Gaia born beings and then we heal from the standpoint of these old ancestral- past life-8th house Saturnian and Plutonic curses and spells that create self-sabotage. Only the Divine can cure and overcome these planetary-old god beings.
  5. There are degrees of severity of the parental and grandparental abuse and neglect and even “elder abuse” from mature age children wishing to destroy their elderly parents and take their money. Some of my clients are very, very sensitive and still feel the wounds and even still live with the parents due to economic difficulties. My healing aims to increase their financial abundance so the client-patients can be independent and enjoy their lives free of their parents.
  6. Many of my patient-clients who come to me for help have been raped and mostly they have developed addictions as a result of the damage inflicted on them. These addictions include alcoholism, drug addiction, sugar and sexual addictions. We mainly go to Neptune here for healings and Pluto-Venus for sexual obsessions. Neptune is the doyen of addictions.
  7. My clients may feel unloved and unlovable so of course I aim for Venus, Taurus, Libra, 7th house and the 2nd house in our healing.
  8. Many of my patient-clients have been gaslighted. Though the term gaslighting is commonly used in the context of romantic relationships, gaslighting is a form of emotional abuse that can be experienced in any type of relationship, including familial, platonic, or even professional. Gaslighting is considered serious psychological abuse, and survivors can experience Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and depression as a result. However, the term is often overused and misunderstood, which can trivialise the real trauma victims are grappling with. A gaslighting perpetrator will tell lies either to you or about you with such confidence and charisma you may be left questioning yourself about why you ever doubted them. A gas lighter will use words and nuances in language to twist the truth and make you question yourself, but their actions and patterns of behaviour tell a different story. They use projection as a tool. Projection is often when someone accuses another person of their own actions, shortcomings or faults. Gas lighters are narcissists and I will discuss the Dramatic Personality Disorder called Narcissism further down in this article. Clearly gaslighting is a Neptunian-Mercurial abusive method.  Gas lighters are very, very dishonest and have a giant superiority attitude and they will have the asteroid Narcissus on the angles and probably the asteroid Nessus on an angle. The asteroids that may highlight gaslighting may be Melpomene, Psyche, Echo, Swindle and Lie, Sisyphus, and Persephone.  The Norns and the Fates and Erynia may also indicate a curse that includes gaslighting.  Gray Crawford in his article on the meaning of the asteroid Dionysus, sees Dionysus in prominent position in a horoscope as “embodying genius and madness, and when we aren’t being told we are divine visionaries we are told we are crazy, obsessive, narcissistic, possessed, irrational, deranged, and self-proclaimed martyrs who self-sabotage ourselves.  Dionysus embodies all of this and more.” I have seen gaslighting narcissists who project their own bizarre characteristics onto their victims as having tight aspects to their Sun, Moon, Uranus, Neptune, Venus and the angles. These encounters may be short lived but if you unknowingly upset them, they will insult you, project onto you, abuse you and cheat or swindle you.  My clients who have been abused by these gas lighters need compassion and understanding and a therapist they can trust totally.  I have many gaslighted clients.
  9. Self -sabotage is an extremely terrible problem among many of my patient-clients and it devastates them, but we manage to find solutions by the end of the first round of healings.
  10. I have many clients who continue the healings to eradicate all their problems and then begin to create huge financial abundance and perfect psychological-physical-social holistic health.
  11. Some clients come just to find all their archetypes.
  12. Some clients come to find all their asteroids and hence all their archetypes and then to heal the challenging inhuman archetypes like the Norns, the Fates and the Centaurs. The Norns and Fates us usually carry personal spells and curses and often ancestral curses and spells.

After healing all these people are wonderful. I am so proud of them and they are proud of themselves.

  1. First, I ask for the client’s birth data and I scan the horoscope for trauma placements which generally are connected to Pluto, Neptune, Uranus and Saturn (all planets of karma), Chiron and Hygeia which both point out holistic health placements, then Hades which tells me how these people live in their daily lives and often I add these asteroids: the Fates, the Norns and the Centaurs and the asteroids of grief and loss.
  2. I listen very carefully to my client’s stories of what trauma has occurred in their lives.
  3. I ask for a DOT POINT SUMMARY, that is presented as a one-page BUSINESS REPORT.  This short-summarised exposition (rather than pages and pages of a long horrifying trauma-ridden narrative) prevents the recurrence of trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder flashbacks which cause hyperventilation, anxiety and panic attacks.
  4. If the client refuses to read and do what I have suggested (about a short dot point business report) and sends me pages of raving trauma   and then blames me for causing them to feel ill, I take a step back and check for the criteria of the Dramatic Personality disorders, especially narcissistic personality disorder (and gaslighting and projection) I suggest this person sees another therapist, but this is very rare.

  1. When my patient and I agree on what they need I call on my Divine guides. I work with the spiritual form of Jesus, the violet flame and the archangels to heal …… for me.
  2. I act as the surrogate for my patient as I practice remote holographic energy spiritual healing. I tell my divine guides my patient’s birthday and I tell my divine guides what the healing is that we need to do. For example, I ask my Divine guides to take us back to the core life where there is a family core belief in revenge.  The key astrological information will be …. (patient’s name has their South Node in Scorpio in her 8th house.) Can we go to the core past life to delete and transform this belief and any curses that accompany that belief? I ask my divine guides what time it is and what place. Then I listen to the back ground story leading to the trauma.
  3. My Divine guides then grab the soul piece or pieces that dissociate during that trauma and they clean them and place them back into the patient’s aura (light body).
  4. I do five healings in this format and this may take 4-5 hours.
  5. I write them out and send a thorough and detailed report to the patient.  Let me one example:
  6. I will call the client Johan.  Johan is having a healing for “lack of abundance in his life.” In real life he likes “get rich schemes” but he always loses more money. He has bad luck with money and the con men he associates with. This is his PAST LIFE HEALING to attract abundance. [SATURN IN CAPRICORN AT 4 DEGREES in his 8TH house.] (This is a summary which saves a lot of gory detail.) We find Johan in the year 1739. He is in southern Siberia. Johann is a professional blackmailer who has a ring of spies to collect secrets, terrible secrets from people. Secrets about their families, children, wives, ancestors, careers, habits and health.  He is also a sadistic embezzler, torturer and killer. He likes to kidnap and remove hands and feet, ears and teeth.  He tortures people who won’t and can’t pay him for his outrageous demands and Johan hangs his unfortunate victims in a cage in a public place to starve, rot and die. This sadistic behaviour goes on for decades. He doesn’t realise that the daughter of one of his victims is a woman who dresses as a man. She watches him for many a day, month and year as she advances in the secret police. When she reaches the top   and she becomes the head of the secret police she sends her men to capture Johan and hangs him in a cage, unharmed, but starving in the city square. He screams for mercy. He is pelted with offal and manure, rotten fruit and eggs. As he is dying, she kills him with her sword and curses him; a spell and a vow of never-ending bad luck, self-sabotage and foolishness with money, along with a curse of bad health for him and his family.  THE HEALING.  Jesus and the archangels gather up two soul pieces, delete the curse in its entirety, wash the soul pieces spiritually for some time and then replace them in Johan’s Light Body in the present time. There are many colours play over him and soak into the many layers of his aura. This takes some time. The colours let me know the archangels who are working with him and the chakras that have needed the most work.  His ghost is cleansed again with light and colour and Jesus and the archangels take him to the spirit hospital in the akasha. Johan as the patient in the present day is warned that this soul retrieval may take 2-3 months to heal because of the nature of his past life behaviour and spiritual damage and that he must report in weekly to let me know how he is coping and transforming. (While this healing Pluto.) Johan had four other healings to accompany this healing. They all addressed the them of self-sabotage and financial foolishness and bad luck. His luck has transformed and he is being much more positive and less nasty to women and less sceptical.
  7. The violet light that pours over some patients, for some time is an expression of the Holy Spirit. It covers the whole body and it moves to heal. It is a spiritual light of extreme transformation and forgiveness. It welcomes back the prodigal son so to speak, but everyone is different and they/we all need different form of healing. In some clients are flooded vast amount of red light with huge spears and rods and columns. I can only surmise that this is for grounding and the root chakra when ancestors have been weak and they have not been giving much qi by their parents. Some have only gold light, some orange, some turquoise or green.  But I don’t always know. Years ago, when I studied with the school of Clair vision my teacher constantly said, “Don’t analyse, don’t look for pictures, videos and scenes just watch the colours. You will never know the mind of the Divine. Just be the witness.”
  8. By the end of the 2nd round of healings (10 healings) my clients have developed emotional-psychological stability and their energy is stable, but many, if not most, of my clients ask for more healings to evolve.

  1. I ask the client not to take any addictive substances before (for a week) and after the healing for a month,
  2. I ask them to report in in a week and then a month and
  3. Tell me how they feel
  4. Tell me any dreams
  5. I tell them that if they feel anxious, emotional etc to talk to me every day
  6. I ask them to thank their soul pieces before they sleep at night
  7. I ask them to thank any new guides who come to help them, for example Archangel Michael or Zadkiel or a seal power animal
  8. I ask them to say twice a day (before sleep and after waking) any affirmations that come up in the healing
  9. I ask them not to have any other form of healing in the next month.

1.A relatively low energy workout, such as gentle yoga, is good. A full work out might trigger unpleasant side effects, so a lower energy exercise, such as walking and lifting light weights twice daily helps. Studies have shown that after only a 12-week programme of relatively light workouts, involving walking improves the quality of sleep. Stretching and dancing can help move old stress from our body and …

2. Listening to classical music. The experts say Mozart music is the most life affirming, but I find old music that is linked to happy times makes me dance and smile. Smiling and laughter bring oxygen into our bodies and joy. For me Seals and Crofts, Neil Young and Van Morrison help me lighten up.

3. Breathing exercises, and specifically deep belly-breathing, can act as a “natural beta-blocker “. If you are stressed your breathing becomes shallow and rapid. If you can consciously switch to slow, deep breaths from your diaphragm into your belly, you’ll be able to deactivate the survival mode, and you’ll notice that your heart rate is also slowing down.

4. Art. I advise all my client patients to buy cheap, large pieces of paper and bright paints and paint and write what you feel as a response to having soul pieces returned to you. In the first few days when your new energy is balancing you may feel tired and emotional. Painting helps.

5. The beach where you can draw in the sand. The beach is full of negative ions which are very soothing.

6. Likewise quiet forest walking is soothing. The ambience of old trees is healing.

7. Rest. Your energy is balancing. Rest while this transformation is occurring. It’s amazing how many client-patients come to me when vital Pluto transits, which involve wonderful transformation and important Uranus transits which involve major changes occur and its also amazing that many clients come to me when major Saturn clients happen to delete old karmic patterns. Rest and let your Divine guides can care for your holistic wellbeing.

I hope you can become my client-patient and join the happy throng of people who have evolved and their lives have become calm and bountiful.

I will be getting a cochlear implant in the next 8-10 months (deafness is not good) and then I would like to teach my methods in the USA and UK.

My best wishes and blessings to you,

I have found people with yods feel as though

1.they are a pressure cooker,

2. They aren’t always aware of the things they do (especially how a particular apex planet makes them feel e.g., apex Jupiter makes you exaggerate or apex Sun may make you feel as though you have to apologise or feel unwanted or apex Moon may make you feel unloved and insecure);

3. a yod may make you feel as though you are inferior

4. or as though you are constantly being forced into doing things you don’t want to,

5. as though you have to answer questions that aren’t yours (maybe they belong to a great-grandma)

6. OR we are the ones with family problems and we are the scapegoats for generational patterns that aren’t nice,

7. Or that in the 2nd part of your life you suddenly have insights

7. or we have a dominant Uranus in our chart

You are not alone. I have yods too and through my personal experiences and my experiences as a psychotherapist, healer and person who has done yoga, lots of exercise and correct breathing for many years I know these insights and body exercises will help you.

WE humans as hominids (Cro-Magnon man, Neanderthal man and Homo Sapiens, who were hunters and eventually hunter- gatherers by 5,000 BC) are the only beings on our planet who sit or lie prone all day.  It is it pure laziness, adaption to the technology we use to communication and use data storage, or a bad habit, we homo sapiens, as a species, have been uncommonly successful at finding behaviours to feed, entertain ourselves and even find partners, while we sit like statues on our cell phone or on our computers tapping away on keys or just standing talking, totally sedentary?

Have you noticed that many people with so called professional occupations look down on manual workers such as trades people who busily race around all day are the fittest and healthiest?

We may feel it is clever to sit and press buttons, but at what cost? If you think about it most people (bar sadhus, yogis and mystics) pay highly for being sedentary ways, via or bodies and our minds. New Scientist journal maintain that steadily lowering IQs and the rise in mental health problems have been connected to our deficit of physical movement.

The relationship between bodily movement and our brain and senses is more profound than seems apparent. New analysis and understanding of our psycho-somatic (mind-body) relationships is showing scientists and somatic-psychotherapists why and how our thoughts and emotions are influenced by our body movement. Our bodily movement; the way we exercise influences how our mind operates.  It seems obvious that our type of exercise and influences the way we think and feel.

Evidence is starting to stack up that this is indeed the case, and it isn’t all about doing more exercise. A new book, “MOVE” by Caroline Williams analyses new research in evolutionary biology, physiology, neuroscience and cell biology to explore which body movements affect the mind and why.

With correct breathing and correct movement, you can create more creativity, improved resilience or higher self-esteem and a healthier, better-functioning mind.

  • Your fear center (amygdala) in your brain so you don’t react  and become aroused to imagined  traumatic symptoms and hypervigilance and need to be on guard all the time;
  • Your insula (your brain center of balance , awareness  and body space and emotions you feel;
  • Your memory or timekeeper center (hippocampus) in your brain  to stay in the present, not the past, so you feel safe in the present;
  • The prefrontal cortex in your brain to monitor conflict errors including regulation of thoughts and emotions so you stay calm and don’t waste your energy and make good decisions, plus eradicate painful thoughts and distressing emotions.

  1. TO deactivate the fear center
  2. To activate the vagus nerve
  3. To reduce stress
  4. To decrease hypervigilance
  5. divergence
  6. To improve self-awareness and emotional intelligence.
  7.  To improve emotional intelligence and decision making
  8. To stop numbness and dissociation

FOCUSED BREATHING THROUGH THE DIAPHRAGM to create1. emotional awareness and regulation,2. concentration & attention,3. feelings of your body, stopping disssociation and numbness and stopping emotional outbursts, 4. reduced stress & anxiety,5. increased wellbeing 6. lowered blood pressure, 7. lowered inflamation 8. reduced intrusive memories. Find a comfortable, quiet place to sit or lie down. You can try it sitting in a chair, sitting crosslegged, or lying on your back. If you’re sitting in a chair, your knees should be bent and your head, neck, and shoulders, relaxed. Although you don’t need to sit straight as an arrow, you also don’t want to slouch. If you’re lying down, you can place a small pillow under your head and one under your knees for comfort. You can also just keep your knees bent.Place One Hand on Your Upper ChestIf you’re engaging your diaphragm, this hand should remain relatively still as you breathe in and out.Place the Other Hand Below Your Ribcage and other hand on epigastric area which is right above the navel. Having a hand here will allow you to feel your diaphragm move as you breathe.Breathe in slowly through your nose. The air going into your nose should move downward so that you feel your stomach rise with your other hand. Don’t force or push your abdominal muscles outward. The movement (and the airflow) should be smooth, and it should ideally mainly involve your epigastric area. You shouldn’t feel like you’re forcing your lower belly out by clenching your muscles. Breathe Out Through Your MouthLet your belly relax. You should feel the hand that’s over it fall inward (toward your spine). Don’t force your stomach inward by squeezing or clenching your muscles.Exhale slowly through slightly pursed lips. The hand on your chest should continue to remain relatively still.. Try this for 5 minutes one to four times a day. If you feel lightheaded at any time, discontinue the breathing exercise. If you’re standing, sit down until you’re no longer lightheaded.

  1. CONCENTRATION & attention
  2. Emotional awareness
  3. Dysregulated interoception (i.e., For oversensitivity, emotional outbursts, dissociative symptoms- freezing and an ability to feel our own body.)

THEN activation of VAGUS NERVE (3.)

  2. WATCH ONE FINGER held up near nose (converging eyes)
  3. Two fingers parallel to nerve (parallel eyes)
  4. Two fingers moving, one to left and other to right (divergence)

2. YOGA POSES  (2) Sit on floor, back straight and pull legs up towards abdomen so knees are bent and your hands are holding feet

Rosary beads prayer, gratefulness prayer to divine guides, loving kindness meditation

Wherever you are (not on ice or a hot surface

  1. Is the surface rough or smooth?
  2. Silky or rough
  3. What colour is it
  4. Does it move or does it stay still?
  5. Does it feel good or horrid?

Now move to another surface

  1. What colour is this?
  2. When I put pressure on this what happens
  3. Is this texture different to last?

NOW GO OUTSIDE and hug a tree or lie on some grass (without ants, or biting creatures)

1.What colour does this place make me feel,

2. Is it soft or rough

3.Can I see anything when I close my eyes

3. Does this place make me feel good or horrid or calm or strange?

3. Does this place activate any feelings in my body.

As always I am grateful for the fact that you have read my article and that said I would appreciate your” likes” and comments.

While these exercises are vital in bringing awareness to yod people and deactivating trauma-caused responses in your brain. I suggest you read Caroline Williams’ book “Move” and read all my yod articles.

I shall

Gather up

All the lost souls

That wander this earth

All the ones that are alone

All the ones that are broken

All the ones that never really fitted in

I shall gather them all up

And together we shall find our home

“Tales of the old forest faeries” poem

~Athey Thompson ~

I often find that the clients who have yods come to me for spiritual healing. They feel alone, not quite right, unwanted, not really well, not really happy at all and on top of all that money slips through their fingers.  They are full of remorse; lack of self-esteem and they feel ashamed.

But I am proud of their courage and determination to want to change and move ahead. I am constantly amazed by these wonderful people who want to better themselves.

And after two or three sessions of spiritual healing (with soul retrievals) they have achieved all the goals that they wanted me to focus on in the healings.

But when I analyze yods and seek lucid explanations and understanding for my clients I also use many other types of psychological therapy and some basic Jungian analysis. This is because not all of my clients wish to have spiritual healing. The types of psychological therapy I look at are:

  • Attachment theory and therapy which psychologists John Bowlby and Marry Ainsworth originated
  • A derivative of psychiatrist Aaron Beck’s original cognitive therapy called Schema (or Life Trap) therapy
  • Cognitive Distortions therapy begun by psychiatrist Aaron Beck’s cognitive Behavioral therapy and psychiatrist David D Burns’ work
  • Suggesting to clients that they join group therapy run by an experienced psychotherapist. Group therapy builds trust and the group provides a caring, positive family.
  • Suggesting to clients they use art therapy or sand therapy. I used both years ago when I was receiving soul pieces back in shamanic sessions.
  • Suggesting that they do Jungian shadow work
  • Jung’s archetypes i.e., the mystic, the Great Mother, the workaholic, the con man
  • Trauma Therapy. I’d really suggest people who have been traumatized and who have yods buy a book called Trauma Treatment Toolbox: 165 Brain-Changing Tips, Tools and Handouts to move Therapy Forward” by Jennifer Sweeten Doctorate in Psychology

In this article I will be intricately analyzing five generations of the maternal line of a family and their ancestors with a goal, for you, the reader to understand how yods usually are derived from family patterns and these psychological patterns, sometimes illnesses and psychological archetypes are passed down until one family member with yods says, “Enough is enough; I need help and this family system needs understanding and healing.”

First, we look for one planet that has a 150-degree geometric aspect to two planets or asteroids. The two planets or asteroids most be 60 degrees or in a sextile to each other.  The apex planet will have 150 degrees to 155 degrees or 145 degrees aspect to each planet, point or asteroid. These aspects are known as quincunxes or inconjunct. Both terms are acceptable.

Before we begin, I remind you that not all yods create mixed up, mentally ill or evil people.

In this article I examine and analyze the effects our ancestors have on us. I change the names to protect people’s identity.

In Jungian psychological astrology we can understand yods if we look at the elements, modes, polarities, superior or inferior stress

  • A Yod links 3 planets (asteroids, angles or points) in different elements. In the illustration we see Pisces (WATER), Leo (FIRE) and Libra (AIR).
  • A yod links 3 planets (asteroids, points in different modes. In the graphic we see apex Pisces (MUTABLE), Leo (FIXED) and Libra (CARDINAL).
  • The apex of the yod belongs to a different polarity (positive or negative) than the quincunxing planets (asteroids, angle or points). In the graphic we realize that the apex is in Pisces (NEGATIVE POLARITY and Hygeia in Leo and Mars in Libra are POSITIVE POLARITY.
  • Of the two quincunxing legs we see Leo (FIRE -INTUITION-SPIRITUAL and Libra (AIR- THINKING)
  1. THE POLARITY: Pisces is negative and prefers to wait. Leo and Libra are positive and want to act now.
  2. Of the two quincunxing legs we will see (POSITIVE) EXTOVERTED SENSATION (Libra) as conscious and Leo as unconscious.  His Mars in Libra will dominate the yod.

Of course, we may seek a good psychological astrologer who specializes in yods. They may specialize in many types of counselling or psychological therapy. There is another solution to yods rather than just cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment therapy (which is really based on blame your family) and even Jungian analysis (even though I whole-heartedly recommend shadow therapy for everyone, plus a good diet, exercise and yoga (or tai qi and chi gong).

The other suggestion is spiritual-astrological healing. I verbally call out each planet in the person’s yod and ask my divine guide to take me to the past life that that planet (or asteroid, angle), degree, sign and house shows me. I ask what year and where the person is and what happened. Then I ask for a spiritual cleansing and return of the soul piece stuck in the trauma of that past life, to the client. The client is asked to thank the soul piece every night for 3 months and to diarize the dreams that occur because of the cleansing and soul retrieval.

  1. We go back in time to when they were children, when bits of their soul were traumatized (frightened, alone, feeling unwanted, threatened or bullied, perhaps lost) and we gather up these soul bits in the land of sadness, aloneness and not feeling quite right.
  2. We then take them to a place of joy, passion, feeling at home, loving oneself and feeling well-being on every level of their body, mind, emotional level and spirituality.  Their souls are rejuvenated and they feel at home, fine-tuned, tweaked, delightfully modified and just right. I find after two or three yod healings, which are performed with me as a surrogate for the yod patient, and me as a surrogate for the violet flame and the divine, with three months in between, their life works just fine and all that is yoddish, hellish, unpleasant and not fun and all that they wish for comes about.
  3. We also can go into past lives via the placement of the yoddish planets, angles and quantitatively large asteroids we can achieve an equally wonderful affect as healing childhood and fetal trauma.                                                                                                               The karmic planets Pluto, and Saturn, and the Moon’s Nodal axis are renowned karmic placements. Saturn from my experience of 25 years of past life astrological healing show, along with Pluto huge trauma, especially in a yod.                                                                                              Generally, your Saturn placement indicates the tests and setbacks you must face and overcome. You also must question your motives behind these painful tests because past life Saturnian yods reveal your attitude, in a particular house has been skewed.                             Where Pluto is in a chart feels like we are totally alone, but if we work to evolve our consciousness and awareness Pluto will transform our karmic weaknesses. Pluto especially digs out and brings to the light our imbalances, and if we face injustice and we feel cursed it can replace this corruption with truth and joy. Pluto kills what we do not need and brings soul-path well-being and goodness. Natally and in transit it will bring (in my experience) total transformation, because it reveals karmic and deep psychological issues up out of the unconsciousness and exposes them to universal law. If we feel bullied or are a bully and we have solar plexus Sun-Pluto or Pluto in Leo in the 5th house issues Pluto focuses on power and the misuse of power, or feelings of alienation and the experience of trauma. I recommend Andrea de Michaelis’s article on the “Karmic Placement of our Planets in our Natal Chart”. She insists that,” Wherever Venus is found in the natal chart indicates that the house affairs concerned are of importance in the resolving of karmic obligations. It shows in what particular area of life we find love, companionship and partnership, and where we have the strongest and most rewarding emotional contacts. It shows what we value specifically, and where we can be enriched both emotionally and financially.”
  4. And then we can help a person heal through healing their ancestors and my article today are about the ancestral healing of Margie’s life through healing: her mother’s yod, her grandmother’s yod, her great-grandma’s yod and her maternal great-great-grandparent’s yods.

We begin with the oldest ancestors who we have birth data for.

So, we begin with Margie’s GREAT-GREAT GRANDFATHER Bill Nantana (who has Apache mother and Mexican-Spanish (Galacian) father, supposedly of noble family. He was born in north-western Mexico.  When Bill turned fifteen years of age his mother died of snake bite and his father died of a heart attack. Bill had a close relationship with his mother but a distant one to his “cold” father.) He found work on a tramp steamer as a cook and then went to the gold fields west of Sydney, in Australia. Research has shown that children who grow up without consistent father involvement commit more crimes, become teenage parents more frequently. Bill became a parent while a teenager and the police were always after him to pay for his abandoned wife and children.  He had:

  2. Two T Squares (Moon Cancer Apex square Saturn in Libra and square Pluto Aries   AND Apex Hecate 5 Capricorn square Ascendant/Pandora Aries and square Mars Libra

Bill ‘s wife Janey was Margie and Lila’s GREAT-GREAT GRANDMA.

Her father belonged to Scottish nobility. She was born in north-western Scotland. He was married, but not to Janey’s mother who was a servant. Janey and her mother (a servant) lived in a cottage paid for by her mother. Both her parents loved her, but her mother was constantly anxious that Janey’s father’s wife would find out about them. She never did. When Janey was   23 years old both her parents died, but her father lived long enough to pay for Janey to immigrate to Sydney (as a servant.)

Jenny was Margie and Lila’s   GREAT GRANDMA.

Bill and Janey’s daughter Jenny was born in Queensland Australia. Her father who she called a “tyrant” was married before he met Jenny’s mother. The quandary of her being a Daddy’s girl or hating her Daddy is seen in her Yod number 4. Vest quincunx Pallas Athena and Juno. Her father was a bigamist (he left his wife and 3 children for Janey and did not divorce his first wife) and Jenny’s mother Janey, lived in fear that Jenny’s father Bill would leave her. Jenny’s children all adored her. When she died at age 44 the family were torn apart and only one who had married into a family with secure attachment thrived. The others did not cope well emotionally through their lives. Jenny too had an anxious/dependent attachment style but she was a perfectionist/workaholic who made the husband and children dependent on her so her own anxiety never showed.  Jenny died of peritonitis caused by severe constipation. The constipation problem was passed down to her granddaughter Faith and great granddaughter Margie.

Jenny had:

  2. APEX URANUS 8 degrees CANCER quincunx HADES 6 AQUARIUS and Uranus quincunx SATURN 6 SAGITTARIUS
  3. APEX ARIADNE 2 degrees ARIES quincunx MENENOSYNE 2 SCORPIO and Ariadne quincunx NORTH NODE 5 VIRGO
  4. VESTA 0 degrees CANCER quincunx PALLAS ATHENA 2 AQUARIUS   and vesta   quincunx JUNO 1 SAGITTARIUS

Jenny had

Margie and Lila’s GREAT-GRANDAD Henry.

Jenny married Henry, a man she thought was from Yorkshire, England. He adored Janey. It was love at first sight.   His real mother had died at sea and his father abandoned him. His adopted parents used him as a slave.  He was a functional alcoholic when Janey met him. He was actually born in Germany but was only three when his mother died.  He had an “Anxious Attachment Style” which meant he handled his partnerships, friendships and relationships, by developing intensely close and dependent relationships with others. He felt anxious about separating himself from his loved ones and was emotionally reactive. He used alcohol to quell his fears.  Only Genevieve stayed and looked after him after the government put him in prison in WWI for being an enemy alien.  His wife Jenny died while he was interned.  According to the research, children growing up without father involvement were also found to perform more poorly in school and use substances frequently. I think he only spent three years at school. Henry was an alcoholic and his granddaughter’s 2nd husband was an alcoholic and his great granddaughter’s husband was also an alcoholic. He also had a tremor in his hands (Mercury in toxic aspect to Saturn) which was passed epigenetically to his daughter Genevieve, his granddaughter Faith, his great grandchildren Margie and Teddy and his great-great-great grandchildren Kell and Fiona.

  1. APEX NORTH NODE CAPRICORN  6TH HOUSE quincunx SUN conjunct URANUS in GEMINI in 12th house. Apex NORTH NODE CAPRICORN quincunx VESTA LEO  2nd HOUSE.  Apex north node Capricorn suggests many years of codependence, feelings of abandonment, high maintenance and emotional insecurity because my incarnations have been spent as part of a family and not being independent and businesslike following a soul path of self-awareness and secure attachment. Instead of having an urge to shine as Henry would have if he’d had Moon’s north Node    trine Sun Henry with his quincunx sun-North node his unresolved parental issues needed attention and his overwhelming feelings of feeling unwanted would cause health problems. Henry’s unpredictability, anxiety, shocking behaviour and arrogance (Sun conjunct Uranus) also needed adjustment. Yet, it’s not always as clear that where your soul is travelling upon this lonely road is going to be as pleasant as you might like. From his family’s story I did not get an impression of an evolved man, but if he was human, and subject to the problems that would occur on his soul path from time to time and that Henry might see these minor dragons some degree of anticipation and delight, and realize that his spiritual journey is part of a much greater plan. His Vesta in Leo in his 2nd house would also provide another challenge to his soul path; one where his originality and creativity can give him the self-esteem and self-value in the areas where he could achieve his highest potential.

Henry had an equal mutable air (Gemini) and mutable earth (Virgo) final signature. He loved his work but he was also very sociable.

She had:

Genevieve’s final signature was Sagittarius. Mutable Fire. She was very lucky with money and she was a brilliant sports woman and she loved travel. Money ruled her life.   She had a Capricorn ascendant.

Douglas had no yod.

He had a delightful family of jolly, happy Irish people who were musical. Doug was a very good teacher who was very popular and had many friends.

But in his only child’s Faith’s case his behaviour was not acceptable.

One subject in the Human Welfare degree I taught into at university was called “Abuse and Neglect.”

  • The only triangulation picture/graphic of bullying also applies with “abuse and neglect.”
  • Faith was emotionally and verbally abused by her mother.
  • There are generally 3 parties to child abuse: the abused, the abuser and the bystander.
  • One parent (her mother) is the abuser (and she abused her husband too), but the father did nothing, except avoid his wife, escapee to the hotel and his family. He never once told Genevieve to, “shut up.” Doug cuddled and loved his beautiful daughter, but he never stood up to Genevieve.

We can see the abusive mother in FAITH’S YOD:

APEX JUPITER conjunct HYGEIA in LEO   in 12th house quincunx    VENUS PISCES in 5th house sextile MOON in CAPRICORN in 5th house.

Faith’s final signature was Capricorn. She had for planets in earth and 5 planets were cardinal.  Money ruled her life and she was impulsive.

Her wellbeing (Hygeia) was missing because of her mother (Venus in Pisces & Moon in Capricorn). Her mother’s loving, glamourous image was an illusion. Faith depended on her mother (Moon) for money (Capricorn.)  Her belief (Jupiter) in fun and joy (Leo) was just an illusion (12th house) and the truth was swept under the carpet.  Faith had a number of surrogate mothers who she turned to regularly for emotional support.

Margie’s MOTHER (Faith) had:

  1. APEX JUPITER LEO quincunx VENUS in PISCES & Jupiter quincunx MOON in CAPRICORN
  2. APEX JUNO IN CANCER quincunx SUN & MARS IN AQUARIUS and quincunx PALLAS ATHENE in SAGITTARIUS Faith had two unsuccessful marriages. She never recovered from the first one and she took revenge (Juno) and so did her Mother in a very aggressive way, for the rest of her life. She never adjusted (suggested yod behavior) or reorganized her belief (suggested yod behaviour) in revenge. Faith did not believe in counselling or psychological therapy.   She had a complete lack of perspective (yod habit) and this must have created enormous strain and of course dreadful karma. Her anger (mars quincunx Juno) ate her up.  She had a romantic (Mars) belief that the wife (Juno) should swan around socializing and do no work (Mars) but just depend on servants. Her marriage (Juno) was impulsive (Mars) and she barely knew her husband when she married. She had been Daddy’s little girl (Pallas Athene) since birth and her Daddy pandered to her spoiled little rich girl beliefs. Her Pallas Athena belief’s show clearly wight on her immun coeli.  The keyword for Sagittarius was visualization and Faith had been visualizing herself as the chatelaine of a manor for many years. Another of her Sagittarian characteristics was her overly talkative character and no one in her husband’s family admired this trait of talking all night, gossiping on the phone and sleeping all day rather than working (Mars) like a good wife (Juno) should have. Her new husband’s perceived role of a wife and Faith’s perceived role did not match.  hey we see the projection of her “show pony” beautiful wife as the role she wanted in her marriage (Juno), but she was so used to being Daddy’s girl (Pallas Athena) that she didn’t realize until too late that no one except her gossiping friends (Juno is in the 11th house) w anted her (Sun quincunx Juno). She and her mother and father constantly justified (Sun quincunx) their behaviour and the pressure (quincunx) of their hatred ate them up for all of their lives.

Faith was virtually a doll that Genevieve created to appear ladylike and perfect. She was sent to an expensive private school where she mixed with other rich, spoiled ladylike girls. She learned “Art of Speech”, “Elocution,” “Interior Décor” and Drama”, “Social Etiquette, Manners and Table Settings.” She was expected to marry landed gentry who had servants. She could swim and dive perfectly. She was beautiful and had a perfect figure.  But she couldn’t cook or sew and she hated these and was bored by these skills.  She liked planting flowers but she didn’t know about planting fruit trees and vegetables.

She had inherited huge epigenetic trauma, especially insula or interoception center brain dysregulation.  She could not match her emotions with her internal body sensations. She was born with dissociation as her mother was so traumatized because of two living babies killed by a drunken doctor and the fact that her mother was looking after her very ill father when she was pregnant with Faith. Faith lost a soul piece when she was born because she was a huge baby and a breech birth and her mother was in agony and terrified during the birth.

Faith also inherited a great deal of epigenetic trauma. She her grandmother’s constipation from an early age and her left arm did not work well from an early age. She inherited her grandfather’s stress from being unfairly imprisoned as an enemy alien during world war one and her never recovered. She inherited her mother and grandmother’s stress from her mother’s horrific death in 1915 when Jenny found out her husband was to be imprisoned and the government took all their property and only left their restaurant which Genevieve had to run.  She inherited Genevieve and Henry’s horror when Genevieve’s brother was slaughtered at the Western Front in World War One.

Then because of her insula dysregulation she came home after being at her private school to her critical mother and had giant emotional outbursts and she cut up her mother’s clothes. Thus, her mother sent her to the lunatic asylum where her mother’s grandfather, her mother’s grandmother and all her grandmother’s aunts and family worked. She was sectioned and she was in and out of there for 6 years.  (Sectioned is a commonly used term that refers to someone who is being detained in a psychiatric hospital, under a section (paragraph) of the Mental Health Act. The law enables people to be admitted, treated and held in hospital against their will, as long as certain procedures are followed, with the aim of getting them better.)

Faith married a handsome man from the landed gentry and she told her daughter. “His uncle had a mansion. I always wanted to live in a mansion”, but regardless of her lack of a handle on reality that by the time she married she must have had post-traumatic stress and a damaged hippocampus and Amygdala. Worse still although all of high society knew about Faith’s past her husband and his family were not told. Of course, now she blamed her husband and in-laws every time she chose to have some time at the asylum. Telling the truth was not one of Faith’s virtues, but she excelled at defamatory gossip like her mother.

  • Was it because her maternal family had belonged to the family for the last 75 years?
  • Had her mother brainwashed her?
  • Was her mother evil like Joe Kennedy Senior when he ordered that his “slow” daughter have a lobotomy?
  • Were the beliefs in so called “mental therapy” stronger that her great grandfather Bill Nantana’s Apache natural therapy?
  • Or was Faith ‘s Capricorn Moon and her love of her mother’s money so strong that she succumbed to endless electro-shock therapy that made Vivian Leigh catatonic?
  • “For some of our most important beliefs, we have no evidence at all, except that people we love and trust hold these beliefs. Considering how little we know, the confidence we have in our beliefs is preposterous—and it is also essential.” —2002 Nobel Laureate Daniel Kahneman.
  • It seemed like the damage to the four parts of her brain that are damaged by trauma, especially epigenetic trauma governed her behaviour. From when she remarried at age 40 to when her husband died when she was 70, she seemed to become resilient and then she became psychiatric medication dependent again and she descended into dementia and a character resembling the worst parts of her mother’s behaviour.
  • The four parts of the brain effected by trauma are. The effects of trauma and epigenetic stress causes in: 1. The fear & center- amygdala (the smoke alarm) where people can’t focus, think clearly, stay aware or use healthy coping mechanisms. 2. The memory center or hippocampus can have problems remembering correctly if there is trauma. 3. The insular or interoception part of the brain can normally help you feel your body and connect with internal sensations and emotions, but if Faith was traumatized from her childhood and epigenetically then she could have emotional outbursts and possible emotional numbing and dissociation. 4. The prefrontal cortex which was strong in Neanderthal people and Indigenous tribal people and normally its gives self-awareness and self-regulation but if Faith was severely stressed, she couldn’t concentrate, make decisions, and be self-aware. This tells us how people could have bipolar disorder, histrionic personality disorder or borderline personality disorder.

Margie was burdened by many major yods.  She was the recipient of the family curses, the family secrets, the family hubris, the family shadow, the families’ addictions, and problems with physical illness and the family’s grandiose and backbreaking expectations. Though these yoddish problems descend from both Margie’s maternal and paternal sides I am analyzing only her maternal line in this article.

  • 1. Margie’s major yod that shown the need for ancestral healing was APEX PLUTO IN LEO 10TH quincunx CHIRON CAPRICORN 3RD HOUSE sextile MARS PISCES   IN 5TH HOUSE.  Erynia the breaker of family curses was midpoint CHIRON /MARS AT 27 AQUARIUS conjunction IC.
  • 2. The next yod that broke the family curse (her Granny Genevieve’s curse) was VESTA 18 DEGREES quincunx SATURN 19 SCORPIO 12TH HOUSE sextile ATLANTIS 20 CAPRICORN HOUSE
  • 3. The next yod that had the potential to break Margie’s own karma of being tied to her family and her need to prove her intelligence to her father was SOUTH NODE IN HOUSE 8 IN CANCER quincunx PALLAS ATHENE CONJUNCT VENUS IN SAGITTARIUS IN HOUSE 1 sextile MERCURY AQUARIUS IN HOUSE 3.
  • 4. The next yod that signified “ladies were never allowed to be angry, show emotion and keep a stiff upper lip’ caused illness and this was APEX MARS IN PISCES 29 HOUSE 5 quincunx PLUTO LEO HOUSE 10H sextile NEPTUNE LIBRA HOUSE 11.   Mars in Pisces at 29 degrees indicated the end of a whole incarnational era.
  • 5. APEX JUPITER conjunction URANUS CANCER IN HOUSE 9   quincunx CASANDRA AQUARIUS HOUSE 4 and Cassandra sextile HECATE conjunction CERES IN SAGITTARIUS.  Jupiter conjunct Uranus on exact degree in Cancer (nurture) on 25° (Aries degree) opposite shows accepting and healing Margie’s karma by providing healing to others, thus making spirituality and God her primarily focus. Margie finally accepted this was her true path and she no longer had to keep it a secret in 2010 when she went deaf and she no longer could work in the profession which was one the family expected her to do. Her mother had called her a witch in the final years of her life because she knew all the family secrets, especially the Apache heritage. Faith just wanted to be English. In the last 15 years of her life Faith became insane and she hated Margie.

Generally, a yod apex is an indication of behaviours that you are not aware of. And often this behaviour or action is because you have:

1.            Past lives like 80% of an iceberg that intrude making you behave inn strange ways, sometimes in ways that embarrass others or upset other people.

2.            Parts of your childhood that are missing (i.e., extreme trauma that is not dealt with) where you are either copying an abuser or attracting similar abusive people from a childhood abuser. You might have been to psychologists but they accuse you of being aggressive and you swear never to go back to a “stupid psychologist”. You might have dreams of your house catching fire.

3.            Ancestors who choose you as the mediator to heal them or bring their soul to rest.

4.            Behaviour that is just like an ancestor who is “better forgotten” because they breached the family standards or showed up the hypocrisy or shadow behaviour in the family (i.e., There are generations of depressed, boring behaviour and they are all Leo people and you are a fourth generation Leo person.)

5.            You upset the other people in the family for some unknown reason. Therefore, it stands to reason that you are a catalyst in a family where bizarre behaviour is the norm.

6.            You are a mediator or peacemaker in a family or aggressors.

7.            Your apex planet is a retrograde planet that points to a traumatic past life.

So, you have to:

1.            Adjust your behaviour,

2.            Understand your unconscious behaviour,

3.            Learn about and change your shadow behaviour and spend months integrating your shadow,

4.            Have some spiritual healing to calm your angry or unhappy ancestors,

5.            Learn why your ancestors are upset and why you have to be their victim or savior,

6.            Have some spiritual healing or do some shadow healing to calm your past lives

7.            Go through outer planet transits to your yods that push you into changing.

Because yod people generally inherit their ancestors’ problems.

Most of my clients who want me to do their astrology charts ask me what their yods mean. They ask me to interpret these mysterious shapes. One of the parts of this interpretation is belief.

Am I prepared to change?

Am I prepared to look at myself warts and all?

and really put my heart and soul into changing the bits of myself that are:

  • Resentful,
  • Vengeful,
  • Paranoid,
  • Jealous,
  • A gossip,
  • Nasty and spiteful,
  • Full of blame and hate,
  • Really unhappy,

And ask why.

Go back in time to the times when we began to be like this and see the first scene when it happened.

What skewed beliefs so I have?

Where did they come from?

No matter how much I tell them so many of these yoddish people do not take any notice of what I say, which is this,” All people with yods are totally different because the archetypal behaviour depends totally on the persons spiritual vibration.”

A person with a low spiritual vibration can have past life and ancestral healings to raise their vibration. But they must want to change with all their heart and soul.

Because yod people generally inherit their ancestors’ problems.

So let us analyze some ancestral charts and their descendants.

Bill has a yod that has his Sun in his 5th house at 27 degrees in Leo as apex.

Bill’s apex quincunxes (inconjuncts) his Pandora conjunct his Ascendant at 3 degrees Aries.

Bill’s apex also inconjuncts his Neptune at 1 degree in Aquarius in his 11th house of hopes and wishes.

  • We would expect a shining, social, creative, thoughtful, cerebral, objective structured, conscious, focused male here.  But in a yod the father may have been absent or rejecting; never home because he worked long hours.
  • So, from the point of view of his father’s ancestry Bill felt unwanted and unneeded and he need to prove his worth.  As a Sun apex yod man he hid behind his role in life. His image was that of a hard-working father.
  • He constantly justified himself.
  • Apart from knowing he would die young until he found his true soul purpose, he lacked direction.
  • His Sun quincunx Sun suggests an anxious-ambivalent attachment, where Bill couldn’t feel trust his dominating, angry father and he always felt insecure all his life and continuously watched to make sure that he wasn’t abandoned. He was continuously anxious that his partners didn’t truly love him, so he was emotionally dependent.
  • We can see that this attachment style continually appeared through each generation 1. (Bill and Janey, 2. Jenny and Henry, 3. Genevieve, 4. Faith and 5. Janey Jnr and Lila until Janey Jnr evolved spiritually and became a secure person.

  • Attachment is the relationship created between mother and child (or the primary caregiver) from the time of birth and this attachment ensure the safety of the newborn. This plays a vital place in the child’s emotional, mental and psychological evolution and personality. Attachment style from birth to maturity could evolve into two different styles of being that will have an impact on how anxious and dependent this person was in adulthood. This attachment style is created into a 3-pronged matrix: 1. the mental construct that permits a relationship with a sense of belonging and unconditionality to form, 2. the emotional bond that contentment and well-being created, and 3. an attachment behavior schema fixated on maintaining favored contact.
  • Our attachment style is the first relationship of the newborn with the main caregiver (often the mother), ‘main’ being the person that’s consistently receptive to the child’s needs, but it can include the father and it doesn’t end after birth or breastfeeding, but rather continues in emotional relationships throughout this person’s life, into adulthood.

  • Bill’s Sun quincunxes his PANDORA CONJUNCT ASCENDANT, so we are warned that here is a man of faith and hope in the face of devastation.
  • Pandora emerges at a critical time historically and psychologically because Pandora arrives historically when the old goddess Titan culture has waned and Pandora symbolically appears to offer hope in disturbing and demoralizing times. She embodies hope and faith which suggests that there is more to life than destruction, sadness and improvement and well-being is a possibility. Pandora can resurrect illness, destruction, old age and pain.
  • Pandora is equivalent in that fire is energy and one of the aspects of energy is desire.  Pandora becomes the object of desire.  As the ego is given the powers of desire, will, and longing for goodness rather than sadness and illness.
  • With his Pandora on his ascendant in his 12th house Bill had a profound connection to divine and metaphysical matters. He needed to be alone to study these matters particularly through meditation, and Indigenous healing as his mother was an American Indian woman so his deep connection to other worldly matters helped him deal with his parent’s death when he was fifteen.  Because of his Pandorian beliefs he had no fear of illness or death.
  • When I found him, he was a ghost and had not left our world to go to the Light. He had waited for his wife, but as she was traumatized to go to the Light, he had been dead for 144 years when I found him. Unlike the majority of ghosts who seem to have no awareness, Bill was lucid, totally conscious and he was able to converse with me clearly. His Indigenous mother had clearly trained him in these methods from childhood. She had only been twelve when he was born but clearly, she had passed on her knowledge and skills from when he was tiny. His mother is embodied by the goddess Hecate which is prominent in Bill’s birth chart conjuncting his Midheaven and squaring his Ascendant and quincunxing his North Node in his 2nd house of values). Hecate reveals crossroads in our lives and times where we may feel suspended while we change ourselves to create a new way of being. Because of his mother’s and Hecate’s strong influence Bill knew that death did not mean oblivion, but hope for eternal life. His father had died at age forty of a heart attack after Bill’s mother had died of snake bite. Bill knew from then on that he would die at forty too, so he did everything he could to make money for his family before he left the earth. He was a confectioner and chef at home as well as being a professional chef at an institution. With his Pandora is in Aries he had a real sense of purpose, goal orientation, boundless energy and he was passionate about his profession. He taught his children his skills and they shared his passion. He passed his healing and metaphysical skills as well as his cookery talents on to his eldest great-great granddaughter.

Neptune quincunx suggests:

  • Obligation’s dog his life.  He had a first wife and 3 children who he was obligated to pay for. His daughter from his first marriage died and he was made to feel guilty. The police were always after him.  His second marriage produced six children. He died when his last child was only 3 months old. Regardless of the fact that he was an advanced mage he stayed as ghost to influence people to help his wife and children.
  • He was mystical and visionary    and could be a healer or meta physician.
  • Neptunian yod people are idealists and romantics.
  • They are vague and can vacillate. They are open to deception.  He sacrificed much of his life for his family.
  • They be daydreamers but as they mature, they become mystics and healers, travellers, visual artists, give service to mankind or entertainers.  In his last ten years Bill worked in a mental asylum looking after the inmates.

I feel that Bill really challenged his genetic and ancestral lifespan seeing he had Neptune quincunx his Sun. Quincunxes can warn of karmic rebalancing from previous lives or from your one’s youth, but quincunxes also warn of health imbalances and financial imbalances and Bill burnt the candle of both ends as a workaholic and in regard to his health. Like Hecate and Pandora Neptune is connected with spirituality and he did believe in reincarnation as most Indigenous people do.  While he didn’t drink or smoke living from 1850 to 1868 in mining camps, he would not have had a good diet or been free of infection, contagious disease and epidemics. Neptune creates high sensitivity and he would have been affected by the type of person the gold and tin mining sites attracted.

Bad health in ancestors definitely creates epigenetic effects in one’s descendants and two of Bill’s daughters died very young, his granddaughter developed a tremor which has been passed down through each generation to his great-great-great grandchildren and each generation since have been affected by this. Epigenetically his bigamy affected was repeated by his grandson Jonas and   caused terrible damage in his great-granddaughter Genevieve’s marriage and the marriages of her children. There have been effects of mental illness in all the genetic lines from his grandchildren down each line. My divine guides have healed him and his wife and I know this will have positive affects because all my clients have been affected positively and have reported miracles.

Trauma can be passed down in a number of different ways, from the way that parents raise their children and the love they give them or don’t give them to the expression of their genetic code. While traumatic experiences cannot alter your DNA itself, they can create epigenetic changes which turn genes on and off, and the effects of those changes may trickle down to future generations. Trauma can alter gene expression across generations. The food you eat, the environment where you live, and the trauma and stress you experience can all trigger changes in future generations, according to the science of epigenetic inheritance. Epigenetics refers to the effect environmental factors can have on gene (DNA -deoxynucleic acid) expression.

Scientists are now studying humans and animals to determine how epigenetic influences can be passed down through multiple generations. In one study of mice separated from their mothers, the effects of that trauma could be observed in the behavior of five generations of offspring acting depressed, antisocial, and taking more risks. Studying trauma in humans involves more areas of physiology, but researchers have followed the descendants of soldiers held in prisoner camps during the United States Civil War. According to one study, the sons of prisoners of war had a 11% higher mortality rate than the sons of non-prisoner of war veterans. (And like his mother and father who were traumatized by war, poverty, malnourishment and ancestral violence Bill Nantana died at age 41.) Bill’s great-great grand-daughter Margie is determined to address the pain and suffering that has been passed down.

  • Vesta rules chastity, purity, commitment, sacrifice, integrity, modesty, virginity, virtues, devotion, the control of our personal needs. When her mother Jenny died in 1915 grace was expected to stay and look after her father.
  • With Vesta in Taurus, she was passionate with strong physical desires. She finally married in 1927 at age 24. She’d already been in love with a good-looking married man she adored, but it seems she was a virgin when she married. She was devoted to her husband, but he escaped constantly to see his family and friends and she nagged and lectured him constantly (Mercury Moon in Sagittarius quincunx Vesta in Taurus).
  • With Vesta in Taurus, she was very passionate and became stressed when her physical needs were not met.  Her husband found her tedious and she developed a tremor in her hands (Mercury) and severe anxiety.
  • Vesta also reveals how we handle our physical needs and our urges, whether we choose to exhibit and satisfy them openly, or we choose to suppress them.  Grace had two babies, large babies; boys who a drunken doctor killed at birth. Her daughter was also a large baby and Grace’s internal state was weakened with these births. She was a tiny woman.
  • Vesta also shows the areas where our attention and energy are devoted.  She apparently lay down and rested every day but she was still a brilliant swimmer, and tennis player.
  • She lived until she was 92, attractive, fit, active and slim, but with Moon conjunct Mercury in Sagittarius quincunx her Vesta her mind left her body in the last years of her life.

Saturn quincunx indicates:

  • GENIVIEVE accepted responsibility, needed to be mature and good with money.  Her siblings escaped when her mother died young and she had to look after her ten-year-old brother and her father. Her husband was a gambler, spent a lot of time at the hotel and wasted money smoking. She made a lot of money, but her husband and daughter spent a great deal of it.
  • She was cautious and worried a great deal after her mother died young, her father was interned during the war, her brother was killed at war, her siblings always wanted money and her husband was a gambler.
  • Time. Genivieve worked hard to look after her family, cooking, cleaning, looking after their business after her mother died; having to do all the work alone and unaided while her lazy family escaped and gallivanted around.
  • Respect.  Genivieve kept her Apache- Mexican bigamous grandfather a secret. She kept her illegitimate grandma a secret. She kept her aunt, who was clearly indigenous a secret. She kept her husband’s gambling a secret.  She kept her daughter’s divorce a secret.
  • She was lonely.  She had many friends who adored her, but her husband wasn’t passionately in love with her and she had a no one to share her secrets with.
  •  Her Saturn and Vesta both had an ability to focus, but the quincunx made her a nagging workaholic drudge. She was sexually repressed and she denied this in her dull marriage. Of course, she never would have gone to a therapist.

Focused breathing is an initial skill that psychotherapists teach traumatized clients.

 to create

1. emotional awareness and regulation,

2. concentration & attention,

3. feelings of your body, stopping dissociation and numbness and stopping emotional outbursts (dysregulated interoception or insula part of the brain),

4. reduced stress & anxiety,

5. increased wellbeing

6. lowered blood pressure,

7. lowered inflammation

8. reduced intrusive memories.

Find a comfortable, quiet place to sit or lie down. You can try it sitting in a chair, sitting cross-legged, or lying on your back. If you’re sitting in a chair, your knees should be bent and your head, neck, and shoulders, relaxed. Although you don’t need to sit straight as an arrow, you also don’t want to slouch. If you’re lying down, you can place a small pillow under your head and one under your knees for comfort. You can also just keep your knees bent.

Place One Hand on Your Upper Chest

If you’re engaging your diaphragm, this hand should remain relatively still as you breathe in and out.

Place the Other Hand Below Your Ribcage and other hand on epigastric area which is right above the navel. Having a hand here will allow you to feel your diaphragm move as you breathe.

Breathe in slowly through your nose.

Breathe Out Through Your Mouth

Let your belly relax. You should feel the hand that’s over it falls inward (toward your spine). Don’t force your stomach inward by squeezing or clenching your muscles.

Exhale slowly through slightly pursed lips. The hand on your chest should continue to remain relatively still.

. Try this for 5 minutes one to four times a day.

If you feel lightheaded at any time, discontinue the breathing exercise. If you’re standing, sit down until you’re no longer lightheaded.

  1. Venus apex people will try in every way possible to be loved.
  2. Venus apex people do not have high confidence.
  3. Venus apex people do not relax and normal pleasure does not satisfy them.
  4. Venus apex people may try every way possible to be popular and loved, but they are inherently not feminine.
  5. Venus apex people may be workaholics because they hate superficiality and become perfectionists

LILA grew up in a challenging family. She was the second child in an unstable marriage. Her elder sibling was a girl and clearly her father and grandfather wanted a girl to carry on the family property and help them with their work. So, she developed a swagger and a deep mannish voice. She wore feminine clothes to work, but she ate huge amounts of comfort food to assuage her deep-seated unhappiness.  She became very overweight even though she hired a personal trainer and she wore nice fingernail polish to be seductive. She became a bully and power broker in her profession and enjoyed hurting people financially. She admitted that she hurt animals as a child and was jealous of her sister and spread nasty gossip about her (like her mother and grandmother did.)

Any planet or asteroid has a Platonic or Jungian archetype. Hygeia’s archetype is:

Saturn in a yod or quincunx/inconjunct

  1. Needs to be respected and acknowledged, but cannot take a joke. She is all of this
  2. Saturn is time. Lila works from 3 am to 9 pm and makes promises that she cannot fulfil. She is not a patient person
  3. Excessive caution. Although she tells others to be positive Lila is terrified of poverty. Her house is old and needs painting and she is a hoarder. She is pessimistic and discouraging of others who she does not fear. She is never home.
  4. Acting responsibly. She attracts irresponsible and immature people who are a burden on her. She is miserly and mean.

We can see so many of her grandma Genevieve’s traits here.

Lila’s father threw money around that his millionaire father saved.  He left nearly all he had to Lila, but Lila’s husband gambled away much of their money early in their marriage. Maybe both her father (Saturn) and husband have caused her to be this way, but there is also the same pattern in her mothers’ family and poverty in her paternal family. Who knows if there are past lives of poverty?

Jenny was born in 1868.

Jane’s senior was born 1833.

Bill was born in 1835.

Margie  was born 1955

Lila was born 1956.

Jenny is Lila’s great grandmother and Bill Nangana’s daughter. Lila knew nothing about either of them.

Her sister Margie has a lovely framed photo of Jenny in her office.  Jenny was very beautiful and so is Margie.

Here we see the Venus theme again.

Love, relationship and marriage are always Venus themes.

Venus always gives a theme of security. Jenny felt that she was not loved or valued by her parents. Her husband adored her and after she was married her children adored her.  But Jenny believed that during her childhood she was a commodity to make money for the household. Jenny believed that she was not welcome when she was born, just an extra mouth to feed.

Jenny felt that It seems with Saturn inconjuncting her Venus there was a lot of opposition to her marriage because the income she made. Jenny made brilliant wedding cakes which were sold to European royal families. Both her parents were distantly connected to European royalty.  Jenny also made mouthwatering confectionary.  She made a great amount of money for her family and she was very good at business.

From what I gather Jenny’s father’s (Saturn) family had the same repressed theme over generations and this was expressed in a collective shadow in the family.  The family was so busy repressing their own problem that they were once very important people, in fact nobility, but were now poverty stricken.

One of Jenny’s sisters, Suzy, married an enormously wealth industrialist and she had been lady in waiting to a Spanish royal figure, but the family had howled her down as a liar.  Karen Hamaker-Zondag in her “Yod Book” states that, “Family members who are busy repressing their own problems will not be able to tolerate a child…, the insecurity that she (Jenny) displays in the area of her own repression, because the family have not been able to come to terms with their own problem (which was the father needed enough money to return to Spain and be accepted again in his family. He did indeed disappear when he was only 40.) Karen continues, “[ The family do not] even have to be aware of this, it may be deeply repressed, but the child elicits annoyance… and have all sorts of negativity dumped on her and [Jenny] will continually have to deal with rejection. She was even blamed for things she hadn’t done. After all it is always easier to blame someone else for your own inner unrest, rather than look at yourself…. Thus, the child [Jenny] is the object of the family’s negative shadow projection.”

Thus, when Jenny found that her future husband had fallen deeply in love with her, she jumped at the chance to escape her father “the tyrant” and her “unloving mother” and be with someone who would adore him through thick and thin, so much so she, who was so religious waited, as a ghost for nineteen years before he died and then with all their trauma neither found they could leave the earth. I finally bought back all their traumatized soul pieces today (13 May, 2021), eighty odd years later. Their whole family, sisters, brother, children and grandchildren were waiting with open arms to escort them to the Light. Jenny, after the horror of her childhood was adored by all.

Jenny’s great-granddaughter Lila was in a similar situation three generations down and we see that they both have the Venus inconjunct Saturn, regardless of the signs and houses.  Jenny’s daughter and granddaughter used Lila as a pincushion.

Though I have done larger ancestral yods for clients this article shows you the potential of seeing yod patterns. And it reveals why you can have certain traits when you have no idea where your personality comes from.

I do hope you have enjoyed this article and it helps you understand yods better.

My very best wishes,

  1. Yes, a do take clients and I charge $178 for a super-dooper written report of a chart with explanations of how you can cure yourself and calm your behaviours.

Before I focus on any major astrological configurations I have a protocol to de-construct a horoscope.  Yods are the icing on the cake after stelliums, T-squares and grand trines. They echo the  patterns and archetypes that I can see already exist in the chart.

It is vital to ask for the client’s story. Why have they come to see you? Is it out of curiosity? Does the client see you as yet another tea leaf  reader?  Has the client read your experiences and qualifications as a psychotherapist and maybe a healer who uses an astrological chart as a tool to helping them regain their own path in life? You need to carefully scan the client’s chart, their story that you have asked for, using your intuition   and experience to use the correct psychotherapeutic pathways to help  this client.

So, we look first at the chart shape, then any singleton planets (this may include major asteroids or trans-Neptunian planets), then the elements and qualities. We observe any planets (or major asteroids or trans-Neptunian planets) clustering around the Ascendant, Midheaven, IC, DESC and Sun and Moon. Then I would observe planets or the larger asteroids in Gauquelin sectors. The next step is to analyze the chart to find any T squares, grand trines, grand squares or if you have a kite or mystic rectangle. Now that you have a better understanding of this person you can approach their yods with a more empathic and logical view.

Kichona has a stellium, joined to a T-Square and both the stellium and T square are linked to a yod. If you have read my articles about yods you will know that ancestral energy seeps through yods and illness is a big issue with yods. Having trouble understanding who you are, being insecure and living out ancestral unlived longings  are huge issues with yods. And then we spend our lives searching. Yod people are “different” and they end up living and treading a unique path.

But I also focus on unlived parts of a person’s chart and why have they chosen to only live with their Moon and its aspects. And I focus on areas that jump out at me, for example, Kichona’s large element imbalance  and what is she doing about the total lack of the earth element or near lack of air and a resistance to living a balanced and healthy life in a holistic manner.

Here we ask about stelliums if we have elemental imbalances?  I observe and comment on a heightened focus on the characteristics of the sign they are in, health issues in that sign, problems with relationships, intensity and obsessiveness are problematic with stelliums. Of course if a client has a large or huge stellium there is a huge element imbalance. Kichona has her Sun, Mercury, Venus and Neptune, her Part of Fortune and the asteroid Atlantis all in  Sagittarius in her stellium, but in a water house and to cap it off she has five planets in water, no earth and only Pluto in air in her horoscope. We would expect high levels of energy, passion, humour, tactlessness and a passion for sports, but  the stellium is part of an all-consuming karmic T square so she is dragged into the 12th house -Piscean energy of the apex of that T square. And that apex Jupiter is in Pisces. Pisces is the final signature of the horoscope.

So let’s look at the T square which is a tense and challenging aspect pattern that takes a few crises, tests, and challenges, where Kichona has to learn to overcome old habits and  perfect practical life skills necessary to overcome the inherent obstacles, frustration, and conflict of the squares and opposition. Not only does she need to learn life skills, but she needs to relate to others at the emotional level,  and strengthen her determination,  and fortitude to succeed in her quest to be emotionally  and spiritually secure. With only Pluto in air , no earth and a very watery chart we ask can she come to terms  with these challenges?

We look for the chart shape in Kichona’s.  It seems to be a bucket or funnel shape.

There is a conjunction of two planets (Moon and Saturn in the 4th house in Cancer) and this conjunction is isolated from the others, which are all in the public (top) part of the horoscope wheel.

Marc Edmund Jones called this sort of chart a “bucket” chart because that’s what it looked like to him. The isolated planet or conjunction of two planets looked like the handle of a bucket. If we call this type of chart a “funnel chart’ the isolated conjunction of Saturn and Moon behaves like the spout on a funnel, focusing most of the “energy” of the horoscope. This planet or conjunction of planet (Saturn) and luminary (Moon) will tell you the central theme of the horoscope and of the person.

The one planet or conjunction of two retrograde planetary bodies (Jones called it a “singleton”) is usually the most important planet and the key to the interpretation. This conjunction or singleton or spout in Kichona’s chart is Saturn 18 degrees of Cancer retrograde conjunction Moon 27 degrees Cancer and it is placed in her 4th house.

This focus on Saturn conjunction Moon in Cancer in her fourth house sounds true for Kichona because she is a home body. She cooks and makes fermented Japanese food which she takes to sell at markets on the weekend.  She is a mother, a wife, a daughter and a granddaughter.  Her work and life is very Cancerian and 4th house. (a) With Saturn as the funnel she will have a great urge for security and safety. Saturn people overcompensate  and are often insecure. (b) with her Moon-Saturn in the 4th house so is doing the same thing her father and paternal grandparents did. Her father was part of a miso business where her grandparents made miso and her father sold fish at the markets.

My information come from Edward Snow’s article “New Study Confirms Gauquelin Plus Zones”. This article is in the Urania Trust website.

When in the 1970s French statistician Michael Gauquelin published the results of his statistical research examining astrology the reaction from the academic community was scathing. Gauquelin longitudinal research work extended over a period of 23 years between 1949 and 1973. In a series of research experiments he statistically tested how the planets affected everything from character traits to heredity, athletic prowess and the career paths taken by professionals who are eminent in their fields. The studies dealing with eminent professionals and elite athletes that caused a upset in the scientific community. Initially, in a study involving 508 births, Gauquelin impressively demonstrated a correlation of Mars and Saturn with physicians at a chance level in the millions to one range. Simply, in the birth charts of prominent physicians, Saturn or Mars were either rising or culminating in so-called Gauquelin “plus zones” with a significantly greater frequency than expected by chance.

One of the Gauquelin plus zones straddles what astrologers call the ascendant or rising sign on the birth chart’s eastern horizon. Another includes what astronomers call the meridian plane and astrologers refer to as the midheaven. Traditionally, planets posited near these “angles” in a birth chart are believed to express their influence more powerfully in the individual’s life. Gauquelin had similar success correlating other professions with the planets traditionally identified with them. For example, Mars featured in the plus zones for elite athletes, Saturn was there for scientists, the Moon for writers and Jupiter for actors and politicians.

Another research study by another French scientist, Professor Suzel Fuzeau-Braesch of Paris University, sought to determine whether the behavior of 500 pedigreed puppies from 100 different litters would measurably correlate to rising or culminating planets in their birth charts. Professor Fuzeau-Braesch discovered that the dominant pups (the more aggressive, and assertive alpha dogs of every group) had either the Sun or Jupiter rising or culminating in their horoscopes with a frequency that far exceeded the threshold of significance established for the test.

The only astrological body we see in Kichona’s Gauquelin   zones is Chiron at 21 degrees Aries It sits in her 12th house conjunct her Ascendant at 22 degrees Aries.

I have been researching Chiron since 1981 because I have Chiron conjunct my Sun. In ancient Greek mythology Chiron was the son of Kronos and a sea nymph Philyra, a foster-sister of Juno. His mentors Apollo and Artemis taught his to be multi-faceted  healer, astrologer, martial arts expert, mentor and knowledge bearer, who taught many Mycenean heroes. At the end of Chiron’s myth Hercules the bumbling hero, Chiron’s student, who killed many of his loved ones managed to infect Chiron with incurable Hydra poison. Chiron was one of a kind. He was not related to the barbaric centaurs and it seems he was not really of this earth. The  comet-asteroid that was named after him was only discovered in 1977 was not from our solar system. So Chiron was an outsider and a maverick. I feel he represents those who represent a previous age.

I doubt that Chiron is an archetypically a wounded healer. We all have Chiron in our charts.   And everyone is wounded. All the gods and goddesses are wounded.  But I have met many people who have Chiron conjunct the ascendant who are very wounded and many just cannot pull themselves together. Our beliefs definitely form us and so many astrologers and astrology student’s belief that where Chiron is in the chart is where they have a deep wound, so they self-sabotage themselves in that area because they have a collective believe in this Chironic Melanie Rienhart-Liz Green propaganda.  Statistics if they aren’t in the 10,000 people range can be manufactured and skewed. I hope Kichōna doesn’t believe this.

The Café Astrology Chiron page on their website suggests that where Chiron is in a chart, “  the wound goes deep, and we may work hard to overcome it, [thus] healing powers are potent there. Here Chiron in our charts is a place of great knowledge, experience, talent, and wisdom. Even if our own experience with the issues are problematic, our experience informs us, and we can be excellent guides and counselors in these areas of life. Its sign and house placement show us our wound and how we go about expressing it. Themes surrounding Chiron include how we might shoot ourselves in the foot, figuratively speaking, damage ourselves, or nurse a wound.”

I find their explanation wise and sensible.

I also see astrologer Jessica Davidson’s ideas about Chiron in the 12th house very apt for Kichona. Jessica states :

  • Chiron in the 12th shows that your unhealed wound is to your inner life and spirituality. It may manifest through areas of unconsciousness, institutions (maybe the church, universities, families and schools, royalty, even working in prisons or mental asylums) and mysticism.
  • Overwhelmed by chaos and struggle to deal with practical reality of life,
  • Horror of being ordinary, mortal and fallible (I have seen this in many of Kichona’s past life healings)
  • Vivid imagination, but struggle to make your dreams real ( but wounds can be healed by the Divine),
  • Weak boundaries and tendency to absorb identity from others,
  • Feels guilty about becoming an individual and being separate,
  • Feeling of profound existential grief and loss
  • Healing comes from recognising your Self as one with the Divine and integrating it into daily life.

In the 12th house our subconscious strives to illuminate the part of self that self-sabotages, repeating the same mistakes and it attempts to make meaning one’s life.  But Kichona has come a long way since her childhood. She has made a leap forward by leaving her home country and while Kichōna hides out at home during the week and has some obsessive thoughts, she does go to the markets on the weekends to sell the miso and tofu she makes and she does sound therapy there.  She doesn’t drink alcohol addictively like her father did, she has reached out to me for help via shamanic-spiritual- holographic healing and via psychotherapeutic astrology.  She has made a good marriage, she has bought up two children successfully and she is happy here. Even though she is a quiet person she has friends. She has a good grasp of the English language.  She is very brave and she has come a long way. Her wounds are healing and she is helping others.

Even though normally I would look at the balance of elements before a client’s configurations her element distributional is a monumental area so I wish to look at Kichona’s stellium, two squares and yod first.

Kichona has

  1. Venus 17 degrees Sagittarius  8th house
  2. conjunct Sun at 10 degrees
  3. conjunct Moon’s North Node at 10 degrees
  4. conjunct asteroid Ascelepius 10 degrees
  5. conjunct 9 degrees  Neptune
  6. conjunct Mercury 01 degrees Sagittarius
  7. conjunct Atlantis 00 degrees Sagittarius
  8. conjunct Mars 24 degrees Scorpio 7th house.

First let’s look at Sagittarius.

Sagittarius need to have an understanding of knowledge.

They are sporty, straightforward, philosophical, freedom loving, athletic, often religious and idealistic. Of all of these Kichona is naturally athletic.  Sagittarius’s negative side is blunt, tactless, lecturing, impatient, exaggerating, argumentative, self-indulgent,  overly talkative and procrastinating.

But at the highest vibration Sagittarius is joyful, appreciative, freedom loving, free, loving and empowered. It is pure spiritual flame, that of the purple fire embodied in the holy spirit. It is eagerness, enthusiasm, happiness, positive expectations, positive beliefs and happiness.  It is the exact opposite of the lowest vibration of Moon conjunct Saturn in the 4th house- the state of lack of grace where Kichōna was as a child.

This is Kichona’s spirit talking in that lifetime:

There is a green healing light everywhere, a pure green mist. I am at an ancient Greek healing hospital temple. I am an Asclepion priest, an old man with a white beard and thick white hair. I am a physician-priest. We are in the wilds of ancient Greece. It feels like Epidaurus, but it isn’t. There are many trees. The greenness is everywhere.  I wonder if we are on Earth. There are many patients who are not of the earth. Some come from earth, some come from other dimensions.  The place has an earthly appearance.  It is a holy place. It is on a star of sacred lines of power, of grace of holiness, of healing, regeneration and goodness. The lines of holiness go through here horizontally, obliquely, vertically which means fertility. Fertility of everything.

I the ancient Kichōna speak to this now in my future. Listen to me girl! Meditate on this place. Make an audiotape of my voice speaking about this sacred place and visualize it.  You need to go to this place everyday to change your vibration to the high vibration of your Sun conjunct North node. This is who you are meant to be. You in the holy pure vibration of all these planets and your Sun and NN. Come into this dimension.

Let me tell you more. The rocks here are mystical, their vibration is of the purple transformation Light of the divine.  There are small fury creatures with big eyes, like night creatures. They are alive and they are pure love. Each patient is given on of these holy pets to hold and feel their love, pure love, fun, joy. The creatures cure the patients.

There are divinities from previous civilizations, invisible but potent, powerful in their healing. This place has always been a place of power. You gain your need to heal from your long life here of many centuries.

Health-wise their Sagittarius’s vulnerable  bones are the sacral and coccygeal, femur and illium. With Sun in Sagittarius there maybe sciatica; with Mercury hip, thigh and pelvic problems, with Venus here skin ailments or hip and thigh ailments and with Neptune in Sagittarius we return to sciatica as well as poor lung capacity and breathing problems.

Here only the breathing and skin ailments are pertinent, no doubt because Venus is the ruler of Libra the sign Pluto is in and Neptune is the ruler of Pisces which is the sign of Jupiter, a vital planet in Yukiyo’s chart.

Although Kichona has indicated that she was “sporty” from an early age and she excelled in sport,  and in her scholastic abilities, she has never indicated what sort of sport she played, nor which subjects she excelled in scholastically. She has done some certificates at Technical College (TAFE) but has not been to university.  But she has moved from her birthplace Japan to Australia where she is much happier. When she moved to Australia her Venus moved out of her 8th house into the 9th house.

So let us observe Kichona’s focus on her 8th house and see if this is the answer. Many astrologers who specialize in the effects of stelliums see people with stelliums in the 8th house as psychologically intense  and complicated people, whose deep psychological difficulties stemming from this intensity and complexity will deteriorate the physical health. This is why spiritual healing and mindfulness meditation will help this intense wary, suspicious, untrusting persona created by emotional scarring which clearly has been created by restless ancestors and the past lives who still haunt the 8th house archetypal person and is now internalized and hidden in the subconscious. I will add that such people will never be healed by one lot (5-7 past life healings and return of soul pieces). It is vital to go to    the life between life decision by the soul in their previous bardo.  Souls who exist in this state are pure and resilient and they never take into consideration that they overburdened the human body who takes on all the demands they make to delete all the past life karma.

Being born into a “work, work, work” culture does not allow a sensitive, emotional girl with Venus conjunction Sun conjunction Neptune conjunction Ascelepius conjunction Mercury conjunction Atlantis to flourish. It crushed that child. A father who drinks and yells rather than cherishing their daughter and sitting the gentle, sensitive child on his lap and stroking her hair is unfair and heartless.  And yet Kichona’s soul chose that relentlessly harsh environment to make her evolve. At what price?

It a strange combination -Venus + Sun + Neptune +Mercury. Neptune create a uniquely nebulous feel which dissolves and rejects the solid world of work, business and reality. Neptune can be vague, dreamy, and chaotic. It dissolves strength of the other planets and the Sun. Neptune blurs everything and worse still it dissolves the barriers between the solid world of Kichona’s incarnation on earth her past lives and the interference of ancestors who are still ghosts. It would be different if Kichona was born into the Australian Aboriginal world or the American Indian world and had ancestors in both.

I remember years ago,  when I found out that I had Indigenous ancestry on both my mother’s and father’s side and one of my friends, who had pale skin and blue eyes like mine, but whose grandparents were Australian Indigenous  people  warned me, “Be careful?”

“Of what?” I asked Dennis.

He answered, “ Your ancestors.”

“Why?” I asked perplexed.

“They invade us!”

“Huh!” I admonished.

“Come on Sis! Grow up! They never go to the Light. They stay here!’’

“Urk,” I answered, making continous urk, urk, urk noises. “Ghosts!”

“Yep! And if you go poking around in the archives looking for them and asking old aunties who are about 100 years old about your old ancestors they’ll take you over. They don’t think they’re dead and they’ll be curious, because you might not be able to see them, but they can see you and they can take your energy and you inherit all their junk, all their trauma.”

I held my throat and made a choking noise. But from that moment on I put all my energy into learning Indigenous healing.

Kichona seems to be besieged by her ancestors in her 4thh and 8th and 6th house.

Let us go back to another of Kichona’s lifetimes:

It is me, Kichona speaking. The light is yellowish green like an unripe lemon (fruit.) It is everywhere like a fog.

There are leopards here.  There are huge men with whips and chains. I try to control them, but I can’t.

A vast thick mist of purple light comes and envelopes me and everything. It is a light of love, joy, empowerment transformation.  The Divine has empowered me, changed my aura. When I say something the giant brutes and the leopards disappear.  I am no longer weak.

The Atlantean beings have shown me what I am like without the Divine empowering me.

I now go the splendid city. It is perfect and made totally of beautiful stone. This city was made by the shapers. I walk up the massive steps to the palace.  I am a herald for the royal family. They are not shapers and neither am I.

The shapers are the archangels. They work for the Light.  I have become very good at using the violet flame. The shapers taught me. When the violet flame engulfs me I am now only powerful but I am relaxed and flexible, totally conscious and aware; never introverted or inflexible. I am not armoured by my useless internal structures created by old traumatic memories. I am empowered, joyful,   free, appreciative, loving, and enthusiastic. I listen to good advice. I am organised, have common sense and listen to my body. I am evolved.

Be like this part of you Kichona, not the past, not the fear, the emotional insecurity and psychological problems. Once you let go of them you will be free.

Kichona’s first T Square is a karmic configuration with Jupiter in Pisces in her 12th house squaring her Nodes (south node in Gemini in her 2nd house opposition north node in Sagittarius in her 8th house.

In some charts we would have to look at money, her finances and other people’s money. Clearly,  Kichona’s father is very generous regardless of the fact that he is following Japanese culture or not. So Kichona’s Venus conjunct Sun conjunct Neptune conjunct Mercury  and North Node does indicate a generous loving (Venus) father (Sun) who is rarely home and does drink more alcohol than he should (Neptune), but also communicates (Mercury) in loud, obnoxious, aggressive, paranoid, intense  ways (Mercury conjunct Mars in Scorpio in Kichona’s 7th house). Father also embodies quite an undesirable karmic shadow.  The North Node sits in the middle of all those planets including asteroid Asclepius which is merely minutes away from the North Node in  the 8th house. I saw this as a past life as a brilliant Hygeian-Asclepian priest-physician. I believe if she mediates on that past life daily she can channel that spiritual healing quality in this life and eradicate most of all her psychological problems which she has inherited from her ancestors (8th house),  her past lives (8th house) and her ambiguous father and destructive father who clearly inherited problems from his own father.

This stellium of planets is opposite both her South Node in Gemini  and in the 2nd house. Kichona would do well do leave behind her old Gemini ways which do her no favours and these are :

  • vacillating,
  • unable to make up your own mind,
  • manipulating others to think like you (when her father did this to her.
  • superficial,
  • mental insecurity,
  • endlessly going to more and more courses,
  • believing what other people say rather than sticking up for your own values and beliefs,
  • chattering to others in superficial nasty ways,
  • telling other people what you think they wish to hear,
  • wanting immediate answer,

Kichona would also do herself a favour if she could let these behaviours of South Node in 2nd house go:

  • attachment to ease and security
  • possessiveness and having money and property,
  • concern with possessions,
  • being stubborn and fixed,
  • resistant to change
  • getting bogged down in being sensual
  • not decluttering
  • taking the low risk way
  • lack of self-discipline,
  • having unbending, inflexible values

Now let’s look at the square to her Jupiter in Pisces in her 12th house.

A 12th house blockage causes psychological problems such as being an introvert and hiding your feelings in your subconscious. Clearly a lot of this would be as a result of her father’s behaviour, but if she practices mindfulness and keeps going with her spiritual healing she can forget this childhood nastiness.  The build up of emotional dross causes physical illness. She needs to be honest about her feelings and emotions. Talking out her feelings with therapists or true friends can be very helpful. Harbouring toxic feelings can cause a lot of physical illness.

Clearly much of the square between her Jupiter  and her 8th house planets and sun  is a result of her childhood , especially from her father and possibly her sister because her Jupiter does square her Sun (father ) and Mercury (sister) and her Jupiter squares her south node in Gemini (sister). Clearly saving face because of her cultural philosophy of not talking about her anger and possible jealousy  about her sister could be making her very ill. Liver damage can result from bitterness and hatred. Worry can effect her spleen and anxiety will damage her stomach and hanging onto the past will effect her bowels and colon.

Kichona’s square between her Jupiter and Venus can indicate that she actually does hate working hard.  She needs self-discipline to use her body and mind;  and she needs time management  and forward planning. This is not just lack of organization, lack of earth but laziness. She needs faith in her ability to succeed so she becomes more determined. There is not only impatience here but careless use of energy.  She needs goal setting and consolidating her resources. She has difficulty dealing with people  and this comes with this aspect, a total lack of the air element in her chart, and Pluto in her 6th house and I think her bad relationship with her sister and father.  She feels threatened by competitors and she thinks she is unfairly treated at work. She needs to be positive. She also needs to look at safety measures and getting plenty of rest to retore her energy.

Kichona also has Jupiter square Sun which indicates her total lack of moderation in her actions and values and attitiudes and philosophy on life. She needs to plan and listen to others and get over her lack of trust. That is a birth to 18 months attitude that we see in the Erikson developmental model. This is an area that hypnotherapy would help as its subconscious, but it leaks out of her and I felt it the first time she emailed me. Kichona wants help but she doesn’t trust anyone.  She needs to learn about reality and learn self-control.  The past is the past and mindfulness meditation will help her still her mind and not have flash backs. She needs a lot more rest and exercise rather than endless emotional sel-indulgence.

The stellium makes Kichona’s T square very hard and it demands elf-discipline as it is such a challenge to her and probably hurts her to read this endless list of squares to her Jupiter.  Jupiter square Mercury obviously is over the top , impulsive judgements often based on insufficient information. Again we see a lack of self-discipline in organizing her daily and long term goals. Kichona also indicates a total lack of reality between her beliefs and the truth. She is very lazy about formulating goals  and sticking to the truth. She could be misinformed and gullible, even naïve.  Many of her nervous disorders are from lack of life direction and the pain of competition. I cannot emaphasise enough that Kichona needs more rest, more time doing yoga , correct pranayama breathing, mindfulness meditation to still her mind. Sleep is vital for such a Neptunian-Piscean person.

Oh dear, again her Jupiter square Neptune emphasizes her need for self-control, self-discipline and self-indulgence so her dreams have a chance of being realized. Her great phobia about work created from her childhood has become destructive self-sabotage.  Kichona  you need to talk with your husband about being gullible and naïve and learn to be realistic. DO NOT go into the occult world and realise you need over a decade of daily self-disciplined learning in alternative healing to call yourself a healer or astrologer. If you wish to help people and charge them your healing methods must be perfect, not the result of some weekend course. Ethics and scrupulous honesty are all important in caring for others. If people are doing well it means their aura is squeaky clean and they have worked hard to get where they are.

Please read what I have said without taking offence and do one area at a time. Organising your kitchen once a month, cleaning the house,   scrubbing the bathroom and toilet, washing your car are all part of learning self-discipline and doing these tasks with joy, not resentment is vital.  You may think you have chosen a hard life but you have a happy marriage, lovely children, a home in a beautiful part of Australia, some nice friends, a generous father, a mother who adores you, grandparents who loved you   and  I did this long report of your horoscope to help you, so be happy and thank God for your life every day.  Good luck Kichona.

The yod that we are observing in Kichona’s chart is apex Pluto in the sixth house in Libra   quincunx Jupiter in Pisces in the 12th house  and Pluto quincunx the asteroid Typhon in Taurus in Kichona’s first house.

Astrologer Jeffrey Wolf Green believes (in Evolutionary Astrology) that the planet Pluto embodies the soul. So in Green’s eyes a horoscope  be assessed by observing Pluto’s house, geometric aspects, house and sign as well as Pluto’s “Polarity Point” (the Sign opposing the Sign of Pluto) and Pluto’s dispositor. We then observe the position of the South Node and the North Node to suggest indications of  possible past life experiences and the karmic lessons which have been repeated in prior life cycles.

In its most basic form, however, Pluto represents the instinctual habits formed in our psyche, which can influence our conscious behavior.  (In psychology, the psyche is the totality of the human mind, conscious and unconscious. In psychoanalysis and other forms of depth psychology, the psyche refers to the forces in an individual that influence thought, behavior and personality. Carl Jung defined the psyche as the totality of all psychic processes, conscious as well as unconscious. Jung saw the soul as a clearly demarcated functional complex that can best be described as a “personality”. [Jung, 1971: Def. 48 par. 797.] Psychic  energies that are not conscious control are instinctive and  an instinct is coupled with something like a philosophy of life. Instinct stimulates thought, but if people are not using their own free will, to think obsessive compulsive thinking occurs. Psychic processes which normally are consciously controlled can become instinctive when  the level of consciousness is low, due to fatigue, intoxication or depression. Jung identified five prominent groups of instinctive factors: creativity, reflection, activity, sexuality and hunger.  )

In its most rudimentary structure  Pluto represents the instinctual habits formed in our psyche, which can influence our conscious behavior.  These may include karmic tendencies or ancestral themes repeated in the life of various family members of the same bloodline. Either case, what is symbolized by this planet is largely unconscious and has to be understood through exploring what is instinctual, irrational or non-verbal in us.

My dear friend AstroHealer (Tina Rahmini) states that with Pluto quincunx Jupiter, “[A person’s]  life philosophy or chosen ideology may have been formed as a reaction against one’s instincts or psychological impulses. … [Or] one’s fundamental way of being may have been dismissed or utterly devalued by what has been inherited from the past, including karmic ties or ancestral influences. [Sometimes this quincunx configuration embodies] the possibility of a fundamental discord between one’s conscious beliefs and the accumulated karmic forces operative in one’s psyche. In other cases, the individual’s encounters with significant others or certain epiphanies may influence his or her general ideology or outlook on life. We certainly see that with Kichona’s severe reaction to her father’s brainwashing of her.

Pluto here is in Libra, a sign which acknowledges the need to keep others at arm’s length to avoid being inundated by meeting the needs of another person in a relationship. Indecisiveness has been Libra’s only defense, for which it has received considerable criticism.  And Pluto as Hades is renowned for snatching Persephone (a maiden with no experience of the inundating effect of men who would easily overcome her.) So, we see Pluto in this sign Libra in the house of the body is easily overcome by psychosomatic illness. With Pluto in the sixth house the habits, and routines, in particular how you take care of your body are vital. Homeopath-herbalist- astrologer Eileen Nauman in her book “Medical Astrology” suggests that Pluto in Libra may threaten normal kidney function (Libra). It may cause acid-alkaline imbalances in the body and possible glandular problems (page 24) and in quincunx to Jupiter in Pisces there can be liver, glucose problems or toxic conditions in the blood.

Eileen states that from the decades of experience she has had with clients, yods or quincunxes are the most suspect of high or low conditions in the body. The people with yods or quincunxes need to:

  • Pay careful attention to diet to prevent health problems.
  • They may have poor absorption of nutrients especially (with Jupiter aspecting Pluto):
  • Vitamin B6
  • 2. Chromium, (Insufficient B6 and chromium may cause pancreatic or spleen problems)
  • 3. Choline,
  • 4. Pangamic acid,
  • 5. Inositol,
  • 6. Biotin,
  • 7. Sulfur,
  • 8. Zinc
  • 9.  And manganese
  • They also with Pluto or 8th house involved need to work with the help of a psychotherapist or shamanic healer assess and work with subconscious and or ancestral problem, changing environments (which Kichōna wisely did) and have positive attitudes.
  • Eileen states that quincunx/yod people are like pressure cookers and they need to learn to relax
  • They have a huge problem understanding themselves or listening to their own body and psyche, they are deficient in understanding their own internal needs, and recognizing suppressed or repressed emotions. With all this emotional dross the emotional explosion would cause bad health (especially with Pluto in the 6th house.) Pluto or Hades is renowned for being archetypally depressive and Asperger’s syndrome in character and unable to communicate. With an extreme lack in the air element this indicates that Kichōna should be going to a therapist who specializes in teaching people communication skills (with themselves and others (her father was hardly a good example.
  • Eileen adds that the challenges of a quincunx or yod will build a strong character that can break but needs the help of therapists to be flexible and resilient
  • Eileen states that quincunx yod people need
  • 1. a sense of humour,
  • 2. Common sense,
  • 3. Flexibility and an
  • 4. Adaptable attitude to stressful events

In regard to work Kichōna clearly is a hard worker, but you are also self-willed and hatred of being controlled and prone to workplace jealousy, intrigue, power struggles and challenges. From when she was tiny the idea of work disturbed Kichōna because her mother left her alone to go to work and her father traumatized her mentally and psychologically with his cruel alcohol inflamed statements that he yelled at Kichōna and her mother when he came home from work.  He shouted his philosophical attitude of, “If you don’t work you don’t eat!” so often at Kichōna that it became her major terror and has created anxiety-fueled illnesses. The two areas that disturb Kichōna the most are her health and her phobic and obsessive attitudes to work and it is clear that the quincunx between her Jupiter in Pisces in her twelfth house and her Pluto in Libra in her sixth house embodies both.

The other astrological body that quincunxes Pluto is Typhon. Typhon was given to a TNO (Trans-Neptunian Object) in the Kuiper Belt region of the solar system, near Pluto. Mythologically, Typhon was the offspring Gaia, Mother Earth. He was a huge winged monster with the head of a human and snake coils below, the bane of mankind, who belched fire, caused huge storms and massive destruction. He was the patriarch of Cerberus, the three-headed dog that guards the entrance to the underworld. He also fathered the Chimera, a fire-breathing part lion, part goat, part snake monster. Typhon also fathered the Lemaean Hydra, was killed by Hercules and whose poisonous blood destroyed Chiron. Astrologically, Typhon represents the psychic storms, instinctual earthquakes, psychological volcanic behaviours and any disastrous experiences that threaten to devastate or annihilate people physically or psychologically.

In a yod Typhon with Pluto and Jupiter might indicate being beset by giant (Jupiter) monstrous physical, mental or unconscious psychological misfortunes and predicaments (Typhon quincunx Pluto.) It may also indicate monstrous (Typhon) karmic  or ancestral (Pluto) relationship  (Libra) problems where enraged monstrous stormy, enraged  behaviour (Typhon in Taurus) psychologically rapes  (Pluto) and almost annihilates (Typhon) Kichona’s identity and life (Typhon in 1st house.)

Kichona has five planets in water including the Moon.

She has her Sun and three planets in fire. Her Ascendant also in fire.

Kichona has no earth planets and only her Pluto in an earth house and her fickle South Node  in Gemini (as part of the T square in the 2nd house)

She has a severe weakness in the air element. She only has  Pluto in Libra.

When we calculate the final signature we find 5 planets/luminaries in the water element + 4 planets in Sagittarius, a mutable sign = mutable-water which = Pisces.

Pisces is the sign on her 12th house cusp and we see Jupiter in Pisces  at 9 degrees which is the apex of a T square and is part of a yod.

(High fire element) intuition and instinct strong, but the fire Sun and planets are in a water house, the 8th house of ancestral inheritance. Erin Sullivan calls this house the pontifex maximus (The Astrology of Family Dynamics, page 187) which means the bridge between the ancestors, the deeper self and the ego. Here Erin states the 8th house person (Kichōna) is the Pope or Pharoah who are the personal representatives of God. Erin suggests that this irrational house may bless or curse strongly 8th house people. Here because Kichōna with her Part of Fortune, Mercury, Neptune, Sun, Venus and asteroid Atlantis here is the psychopomp, one who speaks to Hades as well as God, thus with so many astrological significant planets in this watery domain the fiery Sagittarian stellium is sodden and  drowned fire.

Here with the extreme Water-Fire elemental overload we see a psychological tendency to manic-depression (bipolar disorder) because of high water (an emotional personality which easily lives in a subconscious world and depression or a melancholic persona equates with a high number of planets in the water element in a horoscope)  plus high fire (Sun + 3 planets in Sagittarius + Chiron  and Ascendant and Hygeia in Aries).  We should only count luminaries and planets but the ascendant, Chiron, Hygeia stellium in a Gaugelin zone stick out.

There are no earth planets in this chart, thus boundaries are weak, organizing ability weak, common sense weak, groundedness non-existent. The earth element represents wisdom, simplicity, and independence. Earth signs are practical and like to think of the world around them in a realistic manner. They are the most stable, organised, commonsense and down to earth and practical astrological signs of the zodiac. Their friends can be sure that they can always depend on them. Our physical body is represented by earth. If you are my age and you used to watch “Lost in Sapce” on television you would say, “Danger Will Robinson!!!! Danger !!!!” when you saw lack of earth and weak, weak, weak air element.

Those born with an earth element signs are grounded. They move at a gradual pace, have realistic goals, work hard, have the power to organize what’s around them, provide for their families, are financially responsible, and they love nature. Earth signs are sturdy, calm and they live in the present. Earth people are not gullible and are resilient physically.

Will excess water chart with and water-logged fire, no earth and only Pluto in an air sign physically there will be strong ups and downs of energy and weak digestion. Psychologically there will be roller coaster feelings. Excess emotion or hysteria can weaken body fire.

The fact that she has no earth planets suggests that in the area of psychological makeup Kichona must learn to keep her astral body in her physical body, learn about boundaries, common sense, being grounded, living in the here and now (not in the past), consciously regulate her energy, by becoming aware of her body’s needs. Kichona also needs to learn to be organised,  financially, physically, time-wise, space wise and in her  diet.

The earth element belongs to the larynx (throat) and our voice and ability to hum and whistle. It belongs to our neck which can be effected by gallstones, incorrect posture, tension in our body and weak muscles. Our chest and the legs belong to the earth and they can be strengthened by lifting weights and daily walking (at least an hour). Taurus is the sign of our voice, which uses sound and words. Virgo rules the chest which  holds our shoulders. Capricorn is the ruler of our teeth, bones and legs,  and it gives our body structure, power and stealth. Capricorn people run or walk with great enjoyment.

Earth energy is physically strong and it responds to a high fiber diet. These exercises help strength: Squats, ab (abdominal) crunches and sit-ups, yoga warrior poses, balance exercises (e.g., lifting one leg while standing on the other); lift light weights and gradually increase the weight, push-ups and shoulder stands. Make these a habit, a daily habit. To regulate her excess fire Kichōna should exercise daily. Walking and swimming would be good along with one of the energies regulating exercises (yoga asanas, tai chi or qi gong.)

Grounding is a practice that can help stop habitual flashbacks, unwanted memories, and negative or challenging emotions. These grounding techniques will help you refocus on what’s happening in the present moment.

This link has many grounding exercises.

Because of a weakness in the air planets and with Mars and Uranus in her 7th house my advice to Kichōna is to actively learn to interact and relate to other people.  I suggest community education classes for adults in learning communication especially as Kichona’s attachment style with her mother was an anxious pre-occupied attachment.  Kichōna became so distressed when her mother left her, she became physically ill. Pluto in Libra in her 6th house also indicates some past life problem with relationships.

We are aware, because of a horoscope of total water and fire that Kichōna has a lack of balance in her life.

Only Pluto in libra (air) and no earth. Even her houses had 7 planets in water and the planets in her house of partnership – 7th house -were in water signs and they are both combative (Mars and Uranus).

The earth element is associated with Muladhara or Root Chakra, which lives at the base of the spine. This chakra is related to our pelvis, legs, and feet. It is also correlated with earthly possessions and signs of safety and home – our bodies, our health, our survival, and our monetary existence. This chakra protects our day-to-day needs, and a balanced Root Chakra and earth element can promote good health and a feeling of stability and balance in life.

Earth is the element of stability, loyalty, safety, and practicality. Like the deep roots of an old oak tree, the earth element allows us to feel safe and secure in our lives and our health.

Child’s Pose (Balasana)

A perfect opening posture, Child’s Pose is a great way to become close to the earth, tune out distractions and thoughts, and begin to feel connected to your body to prepare for a physical practice.

Warrior 2 (Virabhadrasana II)

Warrior II is powerful and strong. It’s hard not to feel like a warrior or goddess in this pose. With both feet firmly planted, and weight driving down toward the mat, the earth element is heavily activated here. The Root Chakra is stable at the base of a strong and tall spine, and this pose offers plenty of balance and stability.

Tree Pose (Vrksasana)

This balancing posture feels strong yet soft. It’s steady and simple, which allows you to have fun and become creative. You may grow your “branches” with interesting arm variations, or simply remain still and soak in the earth’s energy as it supports your body.

Low Yogi Squat (Malasana)

Malasana is a great hip opener that keeps your body close to the earth. This low squat has many variations, depending on how open your hips are. Closing your eyes in this posture and becoming connected to the energy you’re sending through your heels is the perfect way to acknowledge the earth beneath you.

In addition to these yoga postures, connecting with the earth element can be done through grounding practices (like walking barefoot outside) or simply spending more time outdoors. Eating grounding foods such as root vegetables like sweet potatoes, carrots, or beets is another way to incorporate the earth element into your lifestyle.

The Earth element embodies groundedness ie.  having our roots in a solid base. The earth relates to the cycles in nature and is central to all other elements. This element is also represented by the stomach, spleen, and pancreas. In Chinese medicine, the spleen is a central organ, both physiologically and anatomically. Defects in spleen energy can affect the whole body. The spleen distributes the energy obtained from foods through the body. The other organs depend on it for life. The stomach is the receiver of nourishment, taking the energy from food for the spleen to distribute. So people with depleted stomach energy, like Kichona need to consider what they eat.

The taste of sweetness is associated with the Earth element. Just as a small amount of sweetness arouses the spleen and pancreas, an excess of sweet food can injure them, and diminish your energy level. This suggests that excessive use of sucrose  or fructose may overburden the spleen and  diminish pancreas energy.

A protein-rich diet with an iota of fat lots of whole grains, fresh and steamed vegetables, some seeds and sprouts, nuts, beans, dairy and eggs, more  fish and poultry, and a tiny amount of red meats can help build and tone the body and strengthen our base chakra and earth element. In  mid-autumn, do a juice cleanse to help eliminate the toxins that these richer, building foods introduce.

A good exercise program that induces sweating helps to eliminate and cleanse toxins out of the body. A building exercise program could involve working with weights, repetitive exercises like sit-ups, leg-lifts, or push-ups, as well as walking, swimming and other sports. To complement these exercises as nature turns towards an inward cycle, make sure to do loosening and stretching exercises to help your body and joints stay loose and supple. Yoga, qi gong, and pilates are great complements to building your core as well as strengthen and loosen tight muscles and joints while enhance body function and relieve daily stress.

The following are some recommendations to harmonize the digestive system:

For weak acidity, and to stimulate hydrochloric acid in the stomach for better digestion, make a mild tea from rosemary, dried orange peel, and/or ripe juniper berries, and drink a small cup one-half hour before meals. These herbs can be steeped by pouring boiling water over them and let them sit in a covered pot for 15-20 minutes.

For weak digestion, avoid cold foods and drinking anything with your meals. Bitter foods, such as endive, dandelion greens, or chicory, will help strengthen the digestion. For gas, indigestion, or hyperacidity, drink a seed tea like fennel, anise, fenugreek, or cardamom seed. These can be simmered in a closed pot for 15 minutes and then allowed to sit another 15 minutes before drinking. Licorice root is a soothing and popular Chinese herb for the digestive tract. It promotes calmness and works as a mild laxative as well. It is also commonly used for sore throats, coughs, and colds. This is also a good tea after dinner mixed with peppermint and fenugreek seeds. For building immunity and increasing resistance to illness, fresh romaine, parsley and celery juice can help as well as calm the nerves. Chamomile flowers are also good for the stomach and spleen. It acts as a soothing relief for the stomach, stimulates the appetite, and helps in calming the nervous system. It is also used for menstrual irregularities and good for a relaxing and calming bath.

Spleen, stomach and pancreas are essential for the digestive process. The digestive organs and their functioning reflect the influences of diet, mental activity, and emotions. The whole digestive system is finely tuned by the nervous system, so stress of any kind affects its function. The state of your emotions is closely linked to your eating habits and your ability to process food. Being emotionally upset or under stress affects your appetite and your nourishment, while feeling happy and clear stimulates your hunger, digestive ability, utilization, and appreciation of foods.

The spleen stores blood, deletes  aged blood cells, and is the reserve organ for blood formation in the adult. In a gestational baby the spleen forms red blood cells. The spleen consists of lymphatic tissue and produces plasma cells, which make antibodies, tying the spleen to the immunologic system and thus, protection against various diseases.

The pancreas secretes hormones into the blood,  and regulates glucose usage. Insulin, the pancreas’ main hormone, lowers the blood sugar level by stimulating glucose use by the cells, or the pancreas may secrete the hormone glucagon into the blood, raising the blood sugar level. The pancreas also secretes of pancreatic enzymes directly into the small intestine assisting in the digestion of fats, proteins, and carbohydrates.

Psychologist Rebecca Crane has written a book called Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (2010). I suggest that Kichōna buys this book and studies it carefully and practices what Rebecca Crane suggests.

Rebecca makes the reader aware that mindfulness as a practice is based on the cognitive theory of “vulnerability to depression” and most certainly a person with Kichona’s Moon conjunct Saturn in Cancer in the 4th house, Jupiter in Pisces in the 12th house and Mars and Uranus in Scorpio i.e., 5 planets out of ten planets in the water element, plus her Sun, Neptune, Mercury and Venus (3 planets and a luminary) all in the 8th house; a water house, would be swamped by affect or emotion.  Hence, the vulnerability to anxiety and depression is not just high, its overwhelming.  In Cognitive Behavioral therapy such people are prone to relapses into a negative emotional or depressive state.

And with Moon conjunct Saturn in her fourth house there is frustration, insecurity, lack of comfort because Mother is busy and with Sun conjunct Neptune father is never there for you either.   Liz Greene in her excellent book The Luminaries: The Psychology of the Sun and Moon in the Horoscope states that with Moon conjunct Saturn (pp. 67-69):

  1. your mother may feel insecure and doubtful about being a good mother,
  2. she may try so hard that the baby intuitively feels her mother’s insecurity,
  3.  and she fails to meet your needs as a baby and child,
  4. You feel insecure and maybe you feel unlovable, then later on in life you willl find it hard to relax with people, be touchy and nervous and have difficulty showing love
  5. And because you feel let down by your parents you will be emotionally detached and believe people will hurt you,
  6. So, you cut off from your feelings. You believe tough people feel no pain,
  7. You also become super-productive, an over-responsible, over-achiever and you work compulsively to prove your worth,
  8. Consequently, you can never relax.
  9. Liz Greene   suggests that grief therapy is imperative for Moon-Saturn people and I agree to deal with the guilt, pain, denial of feelings and anger because of the lack of early attachment that you feel.

Consequently, Kichōna feels lonely, forms nervous attachments and has high anxiety because she has these two astrological conjunctions.

Because the two conjunctions are in ancestral houses (Moon-Saturn in 4th house and Sun-Neptune in 8th house) it is evident that Kichona’s emotional-psychological tendencies to aversive reactions to unwanted emotions such as sadness and experiential avoidance (the attempt to remain out of contact with thoughts, emotions and body sensations) is inherited and with what Kichōna told me about alcoholism in her father’s family her aversive reactions to unwanted unhappiness or depression.

Kichona’s choice to remove herself from the “darkness of Japan” and move to Australia, to also choose alternative medical therapies and alternative healing is sound and sensible rather than descending into substance abuse.  Kichona’s mother’s family are lovely people. Kichōna sent me her parents and grandparents birth data and there is great similarity between her horoscope and the horoscope of her substance abusing paternal grandfather.  Kichōna is to be admired for her strength.

Kichona’s Pluto, a planet that is depressive archetypally is in the 6th house of the body and health. Therefore, illnesses and disease may be caused by negative beliefs, negative mental and psychological habits and continual obsessive repetitive stories that run around and around like a mouse on a treadmill.    These illnesses and mental states are caused by rumination and they may be psychosomatic. The real problem is that this rumination is beyond conscious awareness.

People who are by nature depressive or anxious make a mild sadness persistent by rumination. Rumination:

  • Is self-focused, self-critical, repetitive negative thinking about the past,
  • Is driven by a desire to solve emotional challenges of continual unhappiness and low vibrational moods,
  •  Is brooding on difficulties, problems and things which distress us (in spiritual healing this tendency of dwelling on old problems is also a symptom of a lost soul piece);
  •  Is continually contemplating about events or people that are part of your past;
  • Is being obsessively preoccupied with thoughts about an event or person and not being able to stop thinking about it;
  • Is a learnt approach for trying to reason through your problems
  • BUT disproportionate and obsessive rumination will maintain depression and anxiety,

And it will activate and trigger depressive relapses, Unhelpful rumination asks “Why?” for example, “Why do these things always happen to me?” or “What did I do to deserve this?” or “What is wrong with me?”

Useful rumination asks “How can I act to solve this problem now?”

  1. We can see this type of ruminative thinking in Kichona’s natal Moon conjunct Saturn in Cancer,
  2. Pluto in the sixth house quincunx Jupiter in Pisces in the 12th house and
  3.  Moon in Cancer square Uranus in Scorpio and
  4. her statement that her father’s draconian dictum that, “You have to work hard to eat!”
  5. I feel I have to work hard all the time, like my parents.
  6. I can’t relax much. I can’t take holidays to enjoy my free time. I’m always thinking about work.
  7. “I can never relax, because I must work, but I can’t relax when I am not at home and it get diarrhea when I am not home. This state of mind does not just cause depression but it causes illness.

She emphasizes that you must move from self-criticism and judgmental thinking and habits so you are mindful of new attitudes   and beliefs where you are:

  1. Accepting and compassionate about yourself;
  2. Kind, warm and interested in new ways of thinking, new habits and positive thoughts about yourself;
  3. Curious about your internal experience.

You are no longer in an automatic pilot state or a robotic state where for example you might have driven ten miles and not know where you are because you have been “off with the fairies.” (Again, from a spiritual healing point of view this “space cadet” type of behaviour where you are not grounded and your astral body is way up above your head is typical of people with a number of soul pieces missing.” It is typical of a person who is dissociated.)

When we are conscious and aware of our habits and we have learned a new tool, like mindfulness we   have evolved and moved on from being unnecessarily emotional. We have new problem-solving skills.

On page 23 of her book Rebecca Crane suggests that when our mind is working in habitual ways of thinking which are ruminative and avoidant styles of thinking and emoting, we are unable to make conscious choices of how to respond to internal or external experiences because we are unconscious.  She ads that this habitual way of thinking leads to habitual emotions which are also unconscious.  Thus, because the thinking and emoting is in a constricted awareness, they can’t perceive a range of choices available.  Automatic pilot indicates that we are out of touch with reality and we can be constantly internally creating a reality that is delusional, avoidant of reality, ruminative and unconscious. If we are not conscious and not in our body our body becomes ill because our body is not being used or talked to or even valued.

Through the practice of mindfulness, we are able to become more fully immersed in the present moment, and break the chain of stress and worry. Think about the last time you were immersed on “autopilot,” or totally preoccupied in thought, aimlessly moving from task to task, with little or no awareness of where we are. You could also reflect on the last time your mind wandered into the past or the future, totally ignoring your surroundings. Examples of these types of experiences in our everyday lives include:

+ Driving to or from work, with little memory of the actual experience

+ Eating a meal or snack despite not being hungry

+ Ruminating many hours later about something your boss said to you at work

+ Daydreaming

These experiences may seem harmless, but over time they can actually wreak havoc on our mental health and emotional well-being. The exercise which I present here are from Rebecca Crane’s book Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy from page 101.

Find a comfortable place to sit where there are no distractions. Set aside around ten minutes. Sit or lie (I prfer lying.) Close your eyes, or choose a spot on the floor or ceiling in front of you to focus your gaze.

1. Begin by taking three easy and gentle breaths in through your nose, followed by slow and steady exhales. With each breath, feel yourself slowing down and becoming more immersed in the presnt

2. If you notice your mind wandering or your thoughts drifting, simply notice this and return your attention and awareness to your breath. You may notice your mind wandering at many points during this meditation; it’s simply what our mind does. Merely observe this tendency, and without judgment, return your awareness to your breathing.

3. Bring full attention now to your breathing. As you inhale and exhale, observe where in your body you notice your breath the most. Perhaps it’s in your chest, as you feel it rise and fall with each breath. Others notice their breath most strongly in their nostrils, as the air passes coolly on the way in, and slightly warmer on the way out. Still others notice the breath most clearly in their stomach and abdomen, as it rises and falls with each passing breath. Wherever it is, take a moment to simply notice where the breath is most clearly felt in your body.

4. Notice how it feels to fully focus on your inhale. As you inhale, notice any particular feelings of tension or strain, and notice the sensation of your lungs and abdomen filling up as you inhale.

5. Now gently shift your awareness to focus more on your exhale. With each exhale, notice what it’s like to feel your breath passing out through your nostrils. And observe, without judgment, anything that you feel in your body.

6. For the next few minutes, continue to breathe gently and evenly. Feel the breath as it comes in through your nose, followed by a steady exhale.

7. Notice what’s happening in your mind. If you notice your mind wandering or your thoughts drifting, don’t judge yourself or react self-critically. Simply notice this, and gently redirect your attention and awareness back to your breathing.

8. After ten minutes, gently open your eyes and bring your awareness back to your surroundings. Allow yourself to bask in the comfort and tranquility of the present moment.

We can see that when Kichōna talks about her father raving,  verbally abusive, having drunk excess alcohol. It’s it is a fearful memory, but how many decades ago did it happen. And it is no longer reality.  But it is to her.

It might be her reality because part of her is still there, stuck while her enraged father threatens Kichona and her mother because a fragment of her soul is still there.

The other side of the coin that a really good psychotherapist- psychological astrological healer must consider if the client has a history of illness (both mental and physical) and they have many planets in the water houses (the 4th, 8th and 12th) is that these houses are liminal places; portals or doorways to ancestors, past lives and other dimensions and interdimensional portals include retrograde planets, Pluto and Saturn and the Moon’s Nodes.

Kichona’s Retrograde planets and asteroids: Hygeia in Aries 1st house; Chiron Aries 12th house; Saturn Cancer 4th house

Kichona’s Karmic planets that seem to interfere in our earthly lives: Pluto in Libra in 6th house; Saturn in 4th house in Cancer retrograde; South Node in Gemini in 2nd house

Liminal planets: Neptune in Sagittarius in the 8th house.

Apex planets. Pluto as apex of a yod with typhon and Jupiter.  And Jupiter as apex of T square with Moon’s Nodes.

  1. However, when we practice mindfulness, being constantly mindful of our rumination we can consciously direct our attention.
  2. We can feel our sensory experiences and the physicality of our body at any given moment.
  3. Rather than evaluating and criticizing constantly our attitudes and beliefs become open and accepting.
  4. The habit of frittering away most of our day lost in rumination or obsessive thinking about an idea, situation, or choice means that we have lost our normal mental functioning.” But meditation is a mindful way of breaking this spell.

Kichona’s mother and maternal Grandma also have a Moon -Saturn aspect like Kichōna.

Kichōna has Moon Cancer conjunct Saturn in the 4th house. Her mother has Moon in Gemini square Saturn in Virgo. This reveals that Kichona’s Grandma was unavailable for her daughter which is true. She has Moon Cancer square Saturn in Aries and Moon opposition Uranus. Kichōna also has Moon in Cancer square Uranus.  It appears that Kichona’s maternal great grandma was highly codependent and lacking in boundaries.  Kichona’s maternal grandma has Moon in Cancer conjunct Neptune in Cancer.

Consequently, it is clear that there is a long line of women in Kichona’s maternal line who are insecure about their role as mothers.

I hope you have enjoyed and found helpful this analysis of a complex chat which includes a yod, a stellium, a T-Square, all in the context of a funnell shaped chart with no earth and only Pluto in air.

This chart is extremely challenging and Kichona’s soul took on too much for one lifetime.

I do hope Kichona chooses to do her mindfulness exercise, continue to do spiritual healing to delete the difficulties of her ancesters and to delete the trauma of many past life. She already has had seven healings and I would encourage her to do more as she seems much, much more positive since the healings.

Blessings and joy to all who read this from,

“All his professional life Chief Inspector Gamache had asked questions and hunted answers. And not just answers, but facts, but to Gamache feelings were more important. They were much more elusive and dangerous than facts, and they were what he really looked for. He looked for people’s feelings, because feelings would lead him to the truth.

Louise Penny. The Long Way Home. Page 4.

Louise Penny’s novel, The Long Way Home” is part of a long series of fascinating books where Peter, Clara’s husband is a minor character.  In “the long way home” his wife’s and her friend’s search for Peter is the major theme of the book.  The vital clue that the central character, Inspector Gamache, finds, to help Clara find her husband, is the fact that Peter has changed completely by going to Scotland to a place called the “Garden of Cosmic Possibilities” a place where our earthly dimension is at one with a heavenly dimension.  It is obvious to totally Gamache that stuffy, staid Peter who painted photographically correct black, white and grey paintings that sold well, had changed when he went to the cosmic garden. In fact, it is obvious to me that he regained his spirit in that wild Scottish landscape. The paintings that Peter left with his Uranian niece or nephew Bean (no one knew Bean’s sex) were wildly colourful and full of smiling lips; copies of the magical “Garden of Cosmic possibilities”.  Peter’s vicious, self-centered narcissistic, critical, pompous parents had caused Peter to be a living shadow, skeptical, jealous and critical of his outrageous loving, artist wife, who everyone adored.  Clara’s best friend, Myra, a large African-American psychologist had supported Clara emotionally for all the years of her marriage. She too went with Gamache and Clara on their quest to find Peter.

It felt right to be re-reading “The Long Way Home” when I was working with a lovely client whose life had had endless cold water thrown on her by her cold narcissistic father. But how many clients do I have with abusive parents? Lots and lots, in fact all the people who come to me have a history of childhood abuse and emotional neglect.  And so many of my client-patients still allow their parents and or siblings to interfere in their lives because they have been brainwashed by these so called carers to   deny themselves.

So, as it has been obvious to me for so many years, because of my knowledge of attachment theory, that our lifetime relationships reflect the relationship we had with our parents. Thus, I present to you today with compassion one couple’s relationship with each other and their relationships with their critical parent or caregiver.

Do my clients all have yods? No, but most do. Do they all have failed marriages? No but many do.

Thwarted feelings. Being stared at because you expressed your feelings, but what is worse: being ignored. When you talk your partner looks at the floor. The shutters go down. There is no one home. It’s impossible to communicate with someone when they have escaped to some other realm. They are sitting next to you, but they are studying the hair on their arms, or picking at their fingernails, looking at the birds through the window.  How many years have you endured the robotic, uncaring partner?  Or are they unconscious, or perhaps low in sugar. Do they need another cigarette or hit of milk coffee? You can’t scream in anger, its not your way, but what can you do?

“I am stuck,” you think!

Feeling stuck between a rock and a hard place is the sure-fire sign that you have either a synastry yod or one composite chart yod (or more) between you and your partner.

How long is it since you laughed and laughed? Stress steals our joy, leaving us humorless and serious. But lightness and fun haven’t disappeared forever, they may be buried beneath the snow of a long wintery life season, a phase that is not insurmountable. There is life under the snow and we can find it if we look deep beneath the snow, under the earth. Laughter will bloom again. Grasp that hope.

Susan’s chart with her Pluto at 26 degrees of Leo in the 3rd house is on the outside. Wayne’s chart with his Moon in Cancer at 5 degrees Cancer in his 2nd house is on the inside.

I looked at a partnership that had floundered long ago, and Wayne had left but they kept their house and he eventually came back. After this they stayed together because she was trapped legally by a document she had signed unwittingly. The first document   was a bridging loan where an old loan on their house was being changed for a new bank where their mortgage payments were much less expensive. What the husband didn’t mention was that buried under that document was   another document where she was to agree to be the guarantor for her husband’s loan for what turned out to be a worthless business. The mortgage payments were huge and five years later the bank rang her and said, “Mrs.….  do you have ten thousand dollars to pay the arrears in your husbands loan repayments.”

This legal bind was horrific for her because she had her Venus in Sagittarius and her Ascendant in Sagittarius. She had planned for years to leave when her daughter left school in 2010. She needed her freedom Her Moon in Libra was ruled by her Venus. Her South Node   was in Cancer and her Moon ruled her South Node.  It was an astrological spiral where her South Node in Cancer in her 8th house seemed to be the key. Her South Node in Cancer symbolised her toxic family, possible inheritance of money but also past lives, ancestral lives and interdimensional lives. The way out was one or more soul retrievals.

Susan and Wayne had two yods in synastry.

WAYNE’S VENUS IN PISCES in his 10th house (and Susan’s 4th house) was the apex of a yod. Susan’s Pluto in Leo in his 3rd house quincunxes Wayne’s Venus and her Neptune in Libra also quincunxes Wayne’s Venus.

This seemed to indicate that she could look into his past lives and his subconscious (her Pluto in his 3rd house) but their past lives together kept her stuck in a perpetual bind with him even though he didn’t seem to evolve. With Pluto in his 3rd house and on his IC, he was unconsciously copying his cruel, hard hearted father. Maybe she felt it was delusional or illusional (Neptune quincunx his Venus) because when she looked at him clearly, she was more in love with the idea of being in love and she was in love with a romantic liaison when he really did not love her.

SUSAN’S MERCURY IN AQUARIUS in her 3rd house and in Wayne’s 9th house quincunxes Wayne’s Moon in Cancer in his 2nd house and Wayne’s Pluto in in Virgo on his 3rd/4th house and IC.

Susan’s Mercury in Aquarius in his 9th house meant that she had presented him limitless possibilities of evolving in his consciousness and learning to heal, but because of his Pluto on his 3rd/4th house cusp he was frozen in the past, in his relationship with a now dead father, who appeared to have always despised Wayne.  Wayne’s behaviour mimicked his father’s emotional and physical cruelty to his wife.  Wayne also had not evolved in approximately 20 years of marriage. His cold Moon (opposition Saturn) quincunxing her outgoing, hopeful Mercury swamped her thinking with his gloomy emotions. Wayne’s Moon opposing his Saturn in Capricorn in his 7th house makes him a cold (Saturn) marriage partner (7th house) and this fact is bound up with a past life (Saturn) or Wayne’s father’s teachings or his father’s ancestral heritage. Susan told me that Wayne’s father was an outrageously rude and cruel man who did not want Wayne and may have wanted to put Wayne up for adoption.  The family lineage was one of poverty and unmarried mothers.

  1. Vivacious Susan with her Sagittarius ascendant hated deceit.  She liked open, clear communication and she expected people to tell the truth. (But Wayne constantly lied and mostly in matters of finance. Susan’s ascendant conjunct her Venus fell in Wayne’ s 7th house, so this was not promising.)
  2. Susan also had Mercury in Aquarius and consequently she has an eternal thirst for not just knowledge but for spiritual and holistic knowledge (9th) house and she is endlessly innovative, ground-breaking and pioneering in her ways of thinking and thinks outside the proverbial square (Mercury in Aquarius). She listens daily to information and advice from her spiritual (divine and ancestral) guides.  She loves to communicate; debate and she loves to see (Mercury in Aquarius) others evolve in consciousness.  (But Wayne just liked smoking and drinking coffee with his mates, spending hours watching videos on his computer and fixing machinery. They had no communal friends or social life.)
  3. Susan’s Moon in her 11th house in Libra means that friends mean a great deal to her. Because of her Moon she values a lack of conflict but does like academic debates where people act in a civilized manner. With her Moon in the 11th house, she values being humane and humanitarian. (Again, although Wayne will stop to help people with their broken-down cars stranded in isolated places, he is just as likely to stop and strip a car that is broken down by the road and then sell the parts. Susan despises such actions. Wayne is also a misogynist and so was his father.)
  4. Susan’s Neptune on the cusp of her 11th house and 12th house indicates that firstly she likes to have spiritual friends and secondly, friends that are conscious and aware. Because she has her Neptune in Libra she likes being in spiritual groups where people speak together harmoniously without acrimony and conflict.  (Waynes friends are other mechanics or fitters and boiler makers. They talk about get rich quick schemes.)
  5. With her Pluto in Leo in her 10th house conjunction her midheaven she values her own power and determination, but she has been subject to being bullied by her stepmother, one of her siblings, her mother and fellow teachers when she was employed in schools. Her Pluto is the apex of one of her own natal yods and its quincunxes Wayne’s Venus in Pisces, so she gives away her power because she feels sorry for him. However she has lost trust in him because he conned her and this took away her power.  She realizes this is codependence and is considering a divorce. (Depending on his mood Wayne can be a critical bully.)

When I have tried to communicate with Wayne it is very difficult.  He is not a person who will look you in the eye.

He frequently escapes to smoke cigarettes or have a cup of coffee or milk coffee, so his addicts and habits seem to keep him constantly walled off from the world.

He does have his Sun opposite his Pluto in Virgo and his Moon opposite his Moon so it seems he is carrying a great deal of karmic baggage and with his Saturn in his 8th house the karmic baggage is also his father’s baggage and his ancestral baggage.  His Pluto in his 3rd house conjunct his immun coeli seems to confirm this family baggage

His early life was so terrible with no joy. Hi father had insisted there was to be no celebration of Christmas or of anyone’s birthday. The first birthday Susan ever spent with Wayne she gave him a lot of presents and a beautiful lobster lunch and he threw the lot at the wall and stamped out shouting obscenities. Even though he has had many soul retrievals it seems his core self or core identity is missing somehow.

And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.

Matthew 10:36

Susan’s mother had two sessions of electro-convulsive therapy whilst she was pregnant with Susan. Susan ‘s mother only told her about the fact that she spent time in a lunatic asylum when Susan was 24 after Susan had endured years of severe headaches and vomiting bouts. She never apologised to Susan about the fact that Susan was partially deaf even when she was little. Susan’s mother told her friends that Susan did not concentrate and she never took her to the doctor to check her hearing.

Of course, Susan’s mother, the blueblood Faith, with her impeccable family lineage, blamed Susan’s father. Faith did a lot of blaming.   After Faith died when Susan was 61, Susan joined a genealogical company where she could meet genetic relatives. She found out the truth about Faith’s family which had been a deep, dark secret before faith died. Anyone with yods will have ancestral secrets and ancestral problems. These secrets which always are inherited by a family catalyst are yoddish criteria. Yods can also reveal indifferent health and financial problems and of course “I’ll be damned if I do, I’ll be damned if I don’t [Catch22] problems “especially during childhood.  Another way of describing these Catch 22 problems is that the person is often caught between a rock and a hard place. (They may not be able to escape an abusive and or emotional or physically neglectful family).

The truth was that Susan’s maternal grandmother ‘s side of the family had a long and heartbreaking history. Yes, Susan’s maternal family were wealthy and socially impeccable but underneath Susan’s maternal ‘s grandmothers’ ancestry was genealogical quicksand.

Susan’s maternal great-great grandfather had escaped from Mexico in the late 1840s and become a seaman on a tramp steamer. He had First Nations American mother and a Spanish-Mexican father.  A clever man, he soon became a cook on the steamer.  He finally disembarked in Sydney Australia and married a rich English woman. He fathered three children to her.  He escaped frequently to the goldfields of Bathurst as a cook to earn money. On one of his returns to Sydney he met another woman, a Scottish woman, who had come alone from Scotland. He married her. He had not divorced his other wife. Legally his act is known as bigamy and in those days, it meant being jailed and returning to the first wife and making sure she had enough money to bring the children up.

Did he return to his first wife? Of course, not and one of his children from his first marriage died of starvation. He was accruing a lot of bad karma wasn’t he.

I don’t have his day or even his month of birth but Susan’s great great grandfather seemed to be a very low-level Neptunian-Sagittarian character, one who escaped endlessly, was a liar and even though he worked hard he was not responsible, but it seems he was charming and he was a hard worker.

Susan’s Spanish-Mexican-First Nation’s American great-great grandfather then changed his name to Norman Jones and disappeared with his new wife to Queensland. It was a long walk to the goldfields and his wife was pregnant. She had the baby at one of the gold fields. They traipsed around Queensland gold fields for close on ten years after having five children, finally returning to the capital city where Norman and his son worked in a coal mine. Then they struck gold. Norman found a job as the chef at a lunatic asylum, the only lunatic asylum in the whole capital. From then on, the whole family worked there. They built a house and prospered.  The children all had successful marriages. Did they really? Mmmm?  They all still worked at the lunatic asylum.  What happened to Norman with his itchy feet?

One day in late 1876 (he was born in 1835 and he still would have been young and handsome and because his children were all attractive) he did not come home. It was as though he had disappeared off the face of the earth.     His youngest child was 3 months old.

Susan met a fourth cousin in 2016. They discussed Norman, their common great-great grandfather.  Did he leave with a third wife they asked each other? Was he murdered by a lunatic inmate? They had no proof and no real ancestors. Susan’s cousin said the family house had burned down ten years before, so drat, we’ll never know. But Susan did know that Norman was one of the pieces of her yoddish jigsaw.

Susan’s maternal grandmother’s maiden name was German. For typical working people in Germany, who were forced to endure land seizures, unemployment, increased competition from British goods, and the repercussions of the failed German Revolution of 1848, prospects in Australia or the United States seemed bright. Ninety percent of the German immigrants went to the USA where all German cultures and religions mingled. But Susan’s German ancestors weren’t working people. They were aristocrats and Susan’s great-great-great grandfather Hindrich was a Prussian army officer.

Trauma and tragedies create terrible problems for the descendants for the families.  Not just stress, trauma.  Hindrich and his wife Anna had three older offspring, two girls and one boy and Anna had three wee souls: Hindrich Jnr and his twin Renate and   Ernst.  Before they left Anna fell ill and had an eye removed.  She was only 33 and her husband 54. On the ship out to Australia the conditions were totally lacking in sanitation. Diphtheria killed three quarters of the people aboard and Anna and her little girl were pitched into the sea before they were dead.

Once they landed Hindrich Senior found foster parents for the two tiny boys and took his young male son to find work. The two teenage girls managed to find husbands, but Ernst and Hindrich Jnr never saw their father again. They were abused physically and psychologically by the foster parents and by their teenage years they were both alcoholics. Hindrich married and prospered financially but he died soon after he turned forty from liver and kidney damage (from alcoholism). Ernest was quite brilliant and became very wealthy by running boat services, buying huge swarths of land, establishing timber mills and owning and running restaurants. His wife, the hard-working daughter of a chef made him stop drinking and she ran the financial side of the business, plus she specialized in wedding cakes for European royalty.  Ernst’s wife was a workaholic like her Scottish mother. She drove all the children incessantly, until only one stayed, Susan’s grandmother.  The other children escaped.

But the war, WWI intervened and Ernest was put in a prisoner of war camp as an enemy alien. His wife died of peritonitis after a year, that same year that her son was blown to bits on the Western Front.  Susan’s grandmother was only 22. Her hair went white overnight and she became obsessive about the family business and getting her father out of prison.  Two of Susan’s grandmother’s siblings became quite strange and when Susan’s great grandfather Ernest was freed, he went back to drinking until he sank into cancer. Susan’s grandmother never really recovered her sanity.  Only the middle son of the five surviving children was sane and normal. In fact, he was a total delight.  For twenty years Susan’s grandmother supported her father and worked long hours seven days a week to shore up all the businesses.  But when old Ernst died the strange two siblings who had deserted the family bought a court case against Susan’s grandmother, saying their father’s will was unequal. They gossiped and made trouble.  Susan’s grandmother tried so hard to raise her youngest brother, who was only nine when his mother died, but he too became an alcoholic and then a bigamist (like his maternal grandfather).

So, now you will have realized that bizarre behaviour comes from a childhood of abuse and emotional neglect? But it can be also inherited from ancestors.

Susan’s grandmother didn’t have time for talking, but she made beautiful clothes for her only child, gave her expensive partners and spoiled her. She sent her to an expensive school.  Susan’s mother came home from her expensive school and resented her mother for being so old (she was 50) and cut up her mother’s clothes.  Susan’s mother was a lazy woman. She didn’t like working which incensed her mother and Susan’s mother like Susan’s grandmother became a blamer.

After two years of this behaviour Susan’s grandmother had had enough. So, she put Susan’s mother in the “the lunatic asylum.” Have you put two and two together? Yes, it had to be the lunatic asylum where Norman (Susan’s great -great escapist grandfather) was the chef. So, we assume that Susan’s maternal grandmother must have believed that lunatic asylums were good places, therefore she had been brainwashed too or could we be dissemblers and say it was a pleasant family belief.  Thus, we know that abuse and neglect in one form or another or perhaps severe trauma must have come down through the generation to Susan’s mother. It was both actually, so now we come back to Susan’s mother.

Addiction’s a terrible thing. It’ll steal your friends, family, career and your sound judgement. It’ll steal your soul.  And when there’s nothing left it’ll take your life.

Louise Penny. How The Light Gets In. p. 497

Susan’s mother, a rather twisted mother, who was a medical addict, stole a soul piece of her Susan’s brain because she was jealous of her beauty. (Do people steal soul pieces? Yes, they do and some people give them away too.) Susan’s mother was actually quite beautiful, but she had to be the queen of the hen yard, so he hoped Susan would be retarded. Why?  Why on earth would anyone wish their child to be sub-normal.  Let me hypothesize.

It seems that Faith (Susan’s mother) decided very early in her life that she could not compete with her brilliant parents.  They both represented their state in two sports. Both were very clever and very popular.  Susan’s mother couldn’t compete so its’s clear that she aimed low to avoid disappointment. She eventually became a nurse. You ask perhaps, what sort of nurse? Can you guess where she worked?  She worked at the family asylum. It was the place to be.  Of course, she became a psychiatric nurse because it is easy to assume, she was impressed by the asylum.

Beliefs can often be as strong as brainwashing and abuse.

So, can ghosts be suffocating and draining, parasitic influences as many ancestors hang around families thinking they are protecting people, when they should go back to the light.

Susan did have a father who came from an extraordinary family and he had been bought up and mentored by extraordinary people.

Now let us return to Susan who had begun learning shamanism in her mid-twenties.  At that time, she had transiting Chiron quincunxing her natal Neptune and transiting Uranus conjuncting her ascendant in her first house. Transiting Neptune was in her first house. Transiting Pluto, Saturn and Hygeia were sextiling her natal Pluto, but the sextile wasn’t strong enough to keep her on her correct soul path. She did become a counseller though, something she continued throughout her life.

Then she married a very conservative man who could not have coped with such behaviour as learning shamanism.

In the late 1980s and early 1990s she began delving into healing techniques again.  She learned Chironic healing and she began Learning some kinesiology techniques some as structure function. Around this time her transiting Pluto conjuncted her Saturn. Saturn and Pluto are two of the most karmic placements in one’s chart so this meant her past life karma was coming through.

Then in 1995 her husband left and she travelled to Glastonbury. Transiting Neptune and Saturn were conjuncting her Sun. Chiron was also sextiling her sun.  After visiting Glastonbury, she kept on having spontaneous past life visions of other people and herself.

She has many healing experiences but also romantic turmoil, confusion and she was beset by tricksters. She was conned out of a lot of money.  Transiting Neptune and Uranus were also squaring her natal Neptune. She still did not know about grounding and she still had no common sense.

Susan reached her Chiron return in 2005 and felt there was something terribly wrong. Her Chiron was conjunct her Sun, but she never took much notice of the doom and gloom stories about Chiron.  She knew she constantly self-sabotaged herself by inadvertently blurting out silly things even though she was brilliant and had achieved a high level of education. She had lost jobs as a university teacher because of her tactlessness.  She knew she was gullible and had no common sense.  She spent five years going to a shamanic practitioner and then she gave up. Finally, after about eleven years this soul piece and a couple of other soul pieces, that her mother had stolen, came to light when her mother was dying. She had gone back to her old shamanic healer. And finally, with transiting Pluto in mid-Capricorn squaring her Moon the stolen soul pieces came to light. She was devastated, because she had gone deaf as well and lost her career.

But by now she was a highly qualified healer in many modalities something that she never would have done had she not been continually ill and felt she was inexplicably self-sabotaging.

She found it hard to believe her mother could be that rotten and mean.    And she was very angry.  She found exercise, yoga, walking on the beach and connecting with nature grounding and soothing.

Finally, in the 2017, 208, 2019 and 2020 with Pluto conjuncting her North Node and her Sun Susan has achieved common sense, grounding, she is no longer gullible. She has become financially stable and highly organized.  She had lost many, many soul pieces as a child, as a teenager and it wasn’t until her late forties until she began to get her soul pieces back. In her years of healing and learning healing she was given many soul pieces by her divine guides.

Even though after the age of nine Susan’s life became very hard (she and her siblings were beaten regularly because the women looking after them had a violent temper and she disliked the children), Susan’s saving grace had been her beloved paternal grandparents (who now are her guides in the spirit world). Her Nana gave her a loving example of a normal person who believed unfailingly in Jesus, and even though her Granddad had died when she was nine, her Nana stayed alive until she was 36. She also had many loving mentoring school teachers and they arranged to have her looked after at church by loving church elders. Even though Susan’s stepmother blew hot and cold, frequently accused Susan of lying and was jealous, and divisive, there was always delicious food to eat and she did teach Susan to paint and sew.  Because of the early love from her grandparents Susan attracted many mentors. Her shamanic mentor Eileen Nauman has been a steady influence for many years. Her father and stepmother’s alternate medical beliefs and her own determination to never give up, no matter how bad things became guiding lights in her life as are his divine guides such as Jesus, the Christ, Mother Mary, Archangel Michael, Raphael and Chamuel.

His first past life is PLUTO ON THE CUSP OF HIS 3RD/4TH HOUSE

This lifetime is as a mercenary soldier. The time seems to be around the time of four thousand years ago. It feels like a Roman life but is more likely to have been in ancient Uruk in the area around modern-day Bagdad and we need to remember there were forests and a great deal of vegetation then. He is killed in a battle but he has slaughtered many people in his short life. He seems about age 28. He values wolves a great deal    and he has tamed a wolf and always travels with it. He is a loner with only the wolf for company.  He does have shamanic powers but uses them to mesmerize and bewitch.  His soul piece from that life is with the wolf that is his power animal in this life and his power animal and he enjoy frightening others.

At this time Wayne’s natal moon has been quincunxed by transiting Saturn which means he is totally stuck and needs to consider a change in his values, attitudes and financial situation.

We see “bleak nights with no moon.”

I am told that Wayne is stuck in time.

“Why, “I ask.

I am told, “He has been caught by a wizard-wiseman stealing from others and trying to bewitch someone to do his bidding.”

The wiseman speaks, “I am Bendow the wiseman-magician,” and he points at Wayne, “This young man is a great man’s son, but he has taken the path of darkness, the easy road. Life has always been easy for him. He must learn a lesson.”

“Have you no mercy,” I say.

“No, “he answers calmly. “He has done this too many times; inflicting his power on others.”

He tells me, “Come back in a week.”

I will ask Jesus to help me to do a soul retrieval in one week.

(At this time Wayne natal Venus is being sextiled by transiting Pluto.)

I seek a soul retrieval for Wayne. I see mist and fog everywhere; everything is thinking murky green like a thick fog around a swamp.  Ghouls and ghosts abound; half- people, half dead; half-alive.

I call into the mist and vileness, “Why is this happening?”

I see a figure with a shawl, a hat and staff coming out of the fog. “Who are you?” I call.

“I am Bendow again, the wiseman-magician.”

I ask, “Why are you here? This should be a life of joy and love.”

“No Susan”, he answers.

“I am not Susan” I answer.

“You are here for Susan, surrogate for Susan, so I’ll call you Susan. He has used you and hurt you. You always forgive him. I know your trust has run out. Don’t pretend.” He waits and then adds, “He had a chance. This lifetime was given to him to develop compassion and learn about love. He is a milk sop living in the past. Life is for living. He is being his nasty old Daddy. How boring for you Susan. You are not his Mummy.  You have given him the gift of love, but still the sooky baby hurts you. I say, “He needs to grow up quicky and get over himself.”

“The swamp of misery is of his own making. “

“I know of the cave of lost children. Is this swamp of misery a place where stuck soul pieces hide?”

“Yes, “Bendow answers and disappears.

If we want to change enough, we all can call for help to whoever we believe to be our guiding light rather than be stuck in the swamp pf misery. The choice is ours.

I wake up every morning and thank all my divine guides, ancestral guides and power animals. I thank them before I go to sleep.

Doing one act of kindness for another a day is also one of my guiding principles.

With love to all who read this from,

Best Wishes and Happy Days,

I am begining a wonderful year in 2021. I send my personal love to you and universal love for everyone who reads this post to help all your positive wishes come true ~ hilary~

First of all, I wish to thank the person whose internet name is ivylog for putting a like on all my posts. Thankyou so much.  I wish I knew who you are so I could like your posts and help you in some way.

I have begun doing astrology and healing professionally again, plus trying to finish my book, plus write and finish “WordPress” articles, so my garden has suffered and so has my housework.   To say I am busy is a euphemism.

Today is Australia Day and I went to the beach and just wasted two hours.  I haven’t been to the beach for 7 months and I love the beach.

A gorgeous Australian beach where I have been.

It made me feel much more energized though and helped me think more clearly. Lots of people were having barbeques and swimming at a lovely “welcome to dogs beach” and everyone was having such fun.  The energy was vibrant and alive. The fields on the way were bright green, full of growing lush sweet potatoes, lavender, watermelons, sunflowers, sugar cane and tomatoes.  The drive out and the beach was heavenly. I wish this sort of verdant, Jupiter in Taurus (in a good geometric aspect) year for you.

I’m hoping some of you loved my camel article and I am just about to try to finish my ‘Transiting Neptune to Natal Saturn” article.

What else is happening?

HYGEIA IS AT 9 DEGREES OF LEO.  When transiting Hygeia is in that placement those of us with a high vibration can feel optimistic, self-assured, creative, magnetic and ambitious, but if your consciousness and awareness is low you might feel vain, pretentious , boastful,  “bored with the peasants” and overbearing so its time for our heart, our universal heart to be ignited and full of love, because lately I have seen overweight people with barrel chests who are known to be on the brink of a heart attack say incredibly      arrogant things. Humility endears you to everyone, so does kindness and caring and they all come from a heart centered person with a Leoish   soul.

TRANSITING HYGIEA IS IN MY SIXTH HOUSE right now and I have started work again. I love my work. It makes me feel great. I am watching my health carefully and listening to my body; adhering to my sensible daily habits and being extra careful because of COVID-19 19. I am doing everything I can think of to prevent bad health; taking special antioxidants to regenerate my liver, kidneys and gallbladder because I also have transiting Pluto quincunxing my natal Pluto in my sixth house. So, if you are in a similar situation guard your health and send love to your body daily.

Where is Hygeia falling in your chart?   I don’t have any planets at 9 degrees. Do you? But my progressed ascendant is at 4 degrees Taurus, so I am guarding my health and enjoying the wonders of nature; watching the moon at night, the stars in the sky, watching the sun come up and the sun go down. I sat on a log this morning as the waves pounded the shore inches away and felt the energy rejuvenating my base chakra.

I do hope similar wonderful events are happening for you.

Take care

~ Hilary !

TRANSITING NEPTUNE in Pisces ASPECTING NATAL SATURN    by Hilary Bond PhD. This article is copyright.

Transiting Neptune trine natal Saturn. “Help me. I’m sinking rapidly in quicksand.”

Shelley had transiting Neptune in Pisces, in her natal first house, trining her natal Saturn in Scorpio in her 9th house.

She came to me with a financial problem that, which for her, was bordering on life and death.  She had a realtor (real estate salesman) who had appeared to be totally capable of selling the two properties that were common property in a divorce settlement.  He was deceptive and from what she now realized he was incapable of doing what he said he would. Fortunately, he quit after six weeks, but now she had to start again and find honest realtors who could sell her properties and would disclose all the financial details so she knew she stood on dry land.  She was barely surviving financially and the costs of going through a divorce that had dragged on for two years were terrifying her.  She had lost a huge amount of weight because she was literally starving and her health was not good. Nothing had turned out the way people had promised and she was stuck in a town where she was alone and unaided.

Neptune and Saturn are two totally conflicting energies that really are significators of water and earth.

While all the spiritual people are cheering that the transiting planet Neptune is in Pisces, when we are looking at finances, we really need to look at pragmatic daily reality in the domain of our planet Earth, cold hard facts, finances, structures, limitations, delays, principles of truth, focusing, security, security, self-discipline   and hard lessons if Neptune is making astrological aspects to your natal Saturn.

Natal and transiting Neptune is watery, emotional, prone to deception from others, gullible, often spiritual and compassionate, but often lacking in plain common sense and financial wisdom. They can see the world through rose coloured, romantic glasses, but not be looking at reality.   With transiting Neptune trines Saturn we can be faced by Neptunian people are self-deceptive, but we also can be caught up in the transit and with transiting Neptune in her first house Shelley did not feel safe, she babbled away anxiously saying too much, she felt vague, pessimistic, and melancholy; she felt like procrastinating, was idealistic and she felt misunderstood.

Neptune transits to you natal Saturn are usually difficult, confusing, or depressing and from my experience you feel desperate, because your feet are not touching the ground.  In fact, you feel like you and everything around you is sinking into quicksand, so your levels of anxiety can skyrocket and you can make yourself quite sick from tension.

Because Saturn represnts our root chakra. Saturn is a planet of material form and it rules the present, our feet on the ground here and now, our body, our physical needs to keep us alive: money, food, a budget, a roof over our head a transit to Saturn suggests we are now reaping the results of our previous actions.  Bernadette Brady on page 6 of her book ” Predictive Astrology” calls Saturn “our nemesis”. I would say it is Newton’s 3rd Law, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction so it should be productive and useful growth, but transiting Neptune aspecting natal Saturn feels like a tsunami flooding the land.  And you are going to have to work very hard (Saturn) to find dry land and boundaries (Saturn) in the face of your world dissolving; hopelessness; being lost in a shipwreck and total confusion (transiting Neptune).

With transiting Saturn trining your natal Neptune indicates you may be wearing kaleidoscope spectacles that produce confusing pictures that are unrealistic because Neptune is creating mirages instead of reality, so in business deals and everyday life what you see especially what you believe are your responsibilities, are distorted, ungrounded and unrealistic. Therefore, the test that you face in this transit is to see whether you can keep your feet on the ground.

Consequently, right now I’d suggest going to see a healer who can fix your chakras, especially your root (Saturnian) chakra and I would also advise seeing an experienced and compassionate financial adviser.

Bernadette Brady, who really is the queen of predictive astrology, in her book on “Predictive Astrology” suggests, on page 26, that a transiting trine suggests” rapid development of a situation due to the removal of all obstacles,” and she adds that here a trine creates “speed due to lack of friction. All deterrents are removed so life moves quickly upstream or down the drain.” We need to prevent everything going down the drain so we need to take the kaleidoscope glasses off and put the realistic glasses on so you can make money, not lose it.

I would advise that Shelley needs to go to the social welfare office in her town. In Australia they are called Centrelink and register for earning an extra $150 a week on top of her pension she receives, which would help her escape from poverty.

As the root chakra rules Saturn you can access this archetype through your ancestors. Does Shelley’s situation echo a situation some of her ancestors went through? She told me that, “Yes, what I am going through is just what happened to some of my ancestors.” Therefore I asked her to elaborate about her ancestors and examine ways that they came through.

Being the boss when transiting Neptune trines your natal Saturn. So let’s not go down the sinkhole like some of your ancestors Shelley!

I am coming back very for the next exciting episode of Shelley’s rivetting “Transiting Neptune trine her Natal Saturn.”

Please stay tuned.
