INTRODUCTION

Apart from my first article on Hygeia, the goddess of sound health and holistic well-being my articles about different yods and quincunxes are the most popular.

Originally I was going to call this article “WHY DO PEOPLE HAVE YODS? And how can we help yod people to function better” and you can see in my title that there is an element of Neptunian-12th house mystery about yods and also an element of low earth? Why are people so ignorant or often lacking in understanding about part of their own personality or psychology or mental functioning? Yods relate to both health and finances and the earth element relates to both money and lack of knowledge about our own body. Is it lack of psychological and mental organization or just plain lack of interest in certain things because we concentrate too much on one area that interests us? So regardless of the fact that the experts say there are Virgoish yods and Scorpionic yods there is also a Neptunian-12th house archetype and a lack of earth archetype in yods. Certainly, yods and quincunxes produce a lack of balance and unknowing self-sabotage.

UNLEARNING YOUR OLD TIRED STORIES BY ADJUSTING YOUR SELF-SABOTAGING YODS

Last month I ordered a book called Change Your Story, Change your Life by Carl Greer PhD, Psych D. He is a Jungian analyst, psychotherapist and shamanic healer. My book arrived from Book Depository yesterday (15th August, 2019). In his chapter on the archetypal energies of death and initiation, Dr Greer recommends the archetypal energy of initiation to help us hug to our heart our new story, a story that lacks fear, anxiety, loneliness, self-sabotage, self-hatred and any ambivalence about yourself to bring about a transformation and any unconscious, past life or ancestral resistance. The Jewish symbol of the word “yod” indicates the Finger of God” so if you have a yod you are chosen by God, the divine or your soul to do a certain task in life and this journey involves many challenges and much self-confrontation. I suggest that both Stefan and Degas and his mother learn to be shamanic practitioners to heal themselves, their families and their ancestors and then others. When you read Dr Greer’s book you will find all sorts of shamanic exercises to clear your dark energy, to dialogue with your self-sabotaging inner parts of yourself, which could be ancestors or past lives or childhood survival mechanisms. The shamanic exercise to open sacred space is one I learned in 2005 in Utah when I learned soul retrieval with the shamanic teachers Lynn Berry and Alberto Villoldo.

There are exercises to change your health and attitudes to your body; change your relationships, change your moods, emotions and unhelpful psychological temperament; help your relationship with God and the divine and help your work and employment or whatever you do. It is a life changing book. It is so lovely and will help your growth on every level.

May you bloom and grow.

THE JOHARI WINDOW
When I first began studying psychology, at teacher’s college, in 1972, we studied the Johari window which was a representation of what people do not see about themselves and how they can see their shadow areas. Johari Windows look like square one-dimensional boxes with four areas of different sizes for everyone, but they have a similar shadow, mysterious archetype to the yod. Let us investigate the Johari window because they will help you understand how to fathom yods or quincunxes.

This is how the Johari Window is structured. There are four parts of your psyche.
1. Your Open part of your psyche. This part of you relates to all that is known about you. It is what is known by the individual themselves and what is known about them by the group. The information that is open can relate to your behaviours, feelings, knowledge, experience or skills.
2. Your Blind Spot. This area relates to what is known about you by others, but things about you that you do not know about yourself.
3, Your Hidden Persona. This relates to what you know about yourself but do not reveal to others. This could be related to your own feelings, fears, sensitivities, agenda or manipulations.
4. Your Unknown Shadow part. This section deals with all the information, feelings, experiences and natural abilities or skills that you do not know you possess. These are neither known to you or known to others who are alive. However, in the world of astrology, a good, intuitive astrologer could read this part. Past life healers and shamanic healers could find your skills which are known in your Akashic Records, to your ancestral guides, to your guardian angels, to the Divine, to energy healers, to mystics, to hypnotherapists and to shamanic practitioners, who find them in our past lives and from your ancestors. If you learn to use your intuition and become an excellent astrologer you can find these skills yourself.

Now let’s look at Harry Potter’s Johari Window.
1.KNOWN TO ALL. Harry is an orphan whose narrow minded, mean uncle, aunt and cousin dislike him. His parents died in an accident.

2. HIS BLIND SPOT. Not known to Harry. His mother was a muggle born witch. His father was a wizard and seeker. He who must not be named wants to kill Harry and killed his parents. Harry is a wizard.

3. UNKNOWN TO OTHERS. HARRY’S HIDDEN PERSONA. He lives under the stairs. He talks to a snake. An owl delivers his mail. His biological family pretend they don’t know when his birthday is.

4. HIS UNKNOWN POTENTIAL. Harry is a whiz of a broomstick rider. He is brave and courageous. His scar connects him to Voldemort.

Can you see that a Johari Window is like a yod or quincunx. It contains compartmentalised parts of   you that do not even know about and they maybe have been running you like some robotic part of you, but maybe they are full of gifts and talents like Harry Potter’s unknown potential.

HOW TO STRUCTURE YODS OR QUINCUNXES

Many astrologers do not believe in either quincunxes (inconjuncts) or yods. They simply say that a yod is a sextile whose midpoint has a planet opposing it. I differ and I believe that quincunxes and yods are blind spots where people can have shadow parts of themselves that they avoid or simply do not see.

A yod is made up of a sextile, which is two planets separated by 60 degrees (let us say the Sun at 15 degrees Aries in the 2nd house and Saturn at 15 degrees Gemini in the 4th house) and a third planet, an apex planet which is at a quincunx aspect from both planets in the sextile. The example her of the apex planet would be Moon in Scorpio at 15 degrees in the 9th house.

The quincunx (some people call it an inconjunct), the yod and the Pythagorean triangle are based on the 12th harmonic, which is found through dividing 360 degrees by 12 which equals 30 degrees. The multiples of this division give us the:
semi-sextile 30 degrees;
sextile 30 x 2 = 60
square 30 x 3 = 90
trine 30 x 4 = 120
quincunx 30 x 5 = 150
opposition 30 x 6 = 180
As you can see, all the Ptolemaic aspects are derived from the 12th harmonic series.
I am analyzing four yod charts in this article. I hope my analysis helps you comprehend how to fathom a yoddish person.

STRUCTURING A CHART IN AN ORGANIZED FASHION AS A CONTEXT FOR YOUR YOD

It is wise to to analyse and understand the horoscope before you focus on a yod. Therefore, I aim to teach you the appropriate protocol to construct a correct and helpful chart before you analyze any yods.

Yods are, the icing on the cake of any chart. They add depth to the major components of a horoscope and they are yet another echo to the already established patterns and archetypes that already exist in the chart.

1. So, first, analyze the chart shape of the horoscope. Is it a splash, splay, locomotive, bundle or bucket (fan or funnel) shape? The bucket shape will have a handle or spout, which mostly will be a single planet. The locomotive chart will have a driver planet. Both the driver and spout are vital planets in those particular charts. Neptune is by far the worst as a locomotive driver or funnel spout because of its vague, hard to understand archetype.

2. Your next step will be to find and analyze any singleton planets (or major asteroids or trans-Neptunian planets). Again, a singleton Neptune could indicate addiction, proneness to food poisoning, undiagnosable illness, maybe a career with gas, pest control, poisons, psychology, psychiatry and psychological astrology or a career as an intuitive.

3. The third step is to diagnose the elements and qualities. For a yod or quincunx the worst problem with elements is lack of or weak earth (Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo) because they lack good organizational skills, a need to look after their body and natural financial skills. An overload of planets in fixed signs is a yoddish problem to because they are very set in their ways. Lack of planets in air signs too is a yoddish problem because air is a unifying element and a lack of it implies that you may have a problem detaching yourself from beliefs and you may have perceptual problems,
Therefore you may be unable to see compartmentalized parts of yourself as the Johari Window implies.

4. Next we observe any planets (or major asteroids or trans-Neptunian planets) clustering around the Ascendant, Midheaven, IC, DESC and Sun and Moon.

5. Then analyze the chart to find any stelliums, T squares, grand trines, grand squares or if you have a kite or mystic rectangle. Again Neptune as the apex of a T square of a T square is a doosey and if you have one see a good shaman so you can clear away the mist of past lives or missing soul pieces in your childhood. Neptune has a nasty habit of dissociating under traumatic conditions. See either shamanic practitioners Sandra Ingerman or Betsy Bergstrom or someone they recommend, because they are the best in the world. Sandra is a registered and experienced psychologist. Now that you have a better understanding of this person you can approach their yods with a more empathic and logical view.

THE ANCESTRAL VIEW OF WHY YODS OCCUR

Karen Hamaker-Zondag does a great job of writing about yod people. Her ideas and mine follow:
1. Yod children/people are the result of many generations of ancestors who would not take responsibility for their problems. The yod person becomes the scapegoat. The ancestors may have made some unsavoury agreements with evil being that effect the generations down from them.
2. Yod people don’t seem to have a great deal of realization of who they are and why, in the first half of their life. But after age 40 everything changes and their life goes topsy turvey.
3. Uranus can play a huge role in the yod families.
4. A yod person is the spokesperson for repressed generational problems such as extreme poverty, drug or alcohol addictions, secrets about affairs or sorcery and generally nasty stuff.
5. An unlived, unbalanced or extreme and unsolved problem or theme over several generations can come out as a yod. For example, children with autism may appear after generations of Leonine people appearing to be Saturine introverts.
6. If you are a yod person and have a penchant for genealogy you will be confronted by the fact that your ancestors are a matrix that you are healing. But the fact is, whether we see ourselves arrogantly and pompously as separate and isolated as individuals rather than a tribe we are kidding ourselves. We belong.
7. Yod people are often insecure because of their incomprehensible problems.
8. The yod itself is demanding and requires much attention because the child who inherits the family’s unexamined problems will have a pervasive problem that cannot be ignored. It can surface in the form of mental illness, autism and behaviours that need changing drastically.
9. As there have been unbalanced ancestors the child with the yod has no successful role model.
10. Sometimes these problems skip the grandparents, consequently the grandparents may be able to help the child with the yod.
11. The yod, if worked with and adjusted can make the yod child famous (and we see this with Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic and even Susan Boyle).
12. Often parents who have repressed the family theme or ignored it will find the yod child very difficult. In fact, they may treat the child as the black sheep and there will be much projection as the yod child is only their shadow.
13. The yod child may represent the parent’s unlived longing and they may live vicariously through the yod child or be irrationally jealous.
14. Or the parents cannot see any wrong in the child and the yod child is bought up with permissive parenting and other people react strongly and negatively to the neglected and spoiled child.
15. Often the yod child will be praised and loved by one parent and all of a sudden, the “over the top parent” will swing the other way and criticize and spread rumors about the yod child who could now be in their fifties when the rejection suddenly has begun. I have seen this happen and it is horrific. The parent who does this will have limited emotional development and they are unaware of their own behaviours.
16. This sudden flip may happen at a critical juncture i.e. the projecting mother may start abusing her daughter or son and daughter apart the day of her husband’s funeral. (In one of the cases I am thinking of a yod person had one of her yods with a Pluto apex which quincunxed her Sun and her Mars. On the day of her stepfather’s funeral transiting Uranus opposed her natal Pluto, transiting Trans-Pluto conjuncted her natal Pluto and transiting Saturn squared her natal Pluto and trined her natal Sun. The yod person’s mother had been a loving mother for years and all of a sudden, the past was raked up and the yod daughter was blamed for everything. Her mother kept the verbal abuse up for sixteen years until she died. It was horrific because the mother’s abuse included spreading rumors about her daughter and telling people lies about her. This is just one case. I know of others.) In this case the mother may have lost one or more soul pieces when the husband died which tipped her into dementia.
17. The birth of a new baby may cause this sudden change and the new baby gets all the attention and the yod child is ignored totally. The parent may then tell people the child has autism or Asperger’s syndrome, but the parent shows no sign of guilt. They totally blame the rejected child.
18. It may be necessary to seek the aid of a hypnotherapist, shamanic healer, past life healer, Askashic healer, or Life Between Life healer as people with yods may need help to bring back soul pieces stuck back in the time of their childhood because of trauma. Shamanic practitioners can also heal all sorts of trauma that yod people somehow bring into this time. Shamanic practitioners can help reverse decisions yod people’s souls have made in the life between life that are too much of a burden for the person in this incarnation.

19. I have introduced Dr Carl Greer’s wonderful book into this yod article because it will help you do some of your own shamanic journeys and help you, by performing your own rituals, to usher in new chapters of your life to acknowledge new beginnings  and honour endings.

INTRODUCTION TO STEFAN’S CHART

In this article I reveal how to deconstruct, reconstruct and thoroughly comprehend a horoscope with one or more yods. Yods by their very nature dissociate or compartmentalize parts of a person’s psyche, so to further dissociate or compartmentalize your client, friend or relative is the very worst thing you could do to a yod person.

DO NOT JUST ANALYSE THIS PERSON’S YODS. YOU MUST ANALYSE THE WHOLE CHART.

Thus, I am teaching you how to understand a person who has yod(s) in their chart in a professional and caring manner.

FIRST, LOOK AT THE CHART SHAPE.

1. We look for the chart shape of Stefan’s chart. It is a Seesaw Chart where the planets are bunched into two opposing groups, like a bowtie. He may feel pulled in two contrasting directions; your life theme may be about learning compromise, being a mediator, or balancing oppositions in himself where there are two distinct groups of planets. The planets on the left-hand side of Stefan’s chart are grouped between Pluto at 6 degrees of Libra in his 12th house and Neptune at 10 degrees 41 of Sagittarius in his 2nd house. These planets oppose the planets on the right hand or western side of his chart that span from Mars at 1 degrees of Aries in his 6th house to Saturn at 16 degrees of Cancer in his 9th house.
SECOND, LOOK AT THE ELEMENTS AND QUALITIES.

2. Stefan has four air planets (his Gemini Sun at 1 degree Gemini in the 8th house, his Mercury in Gemini in his 9th house; his Pluto in Libra, his 29 degrees Libra Uranus plus a Libra ascendant at 19 degrees libra), no earth, three water including his Scorpio Moon at 00 degrees which conjuncts his Uranus in his 1st house, Saturn and Venus conjunct in Cancer in his 9th house and three fire (Mars and Jupiter in Aries in the 6th house which means he can get work any time, any place and Neptune in Sagittarius in his second house). This grouping is perfect for work as a psychologist who does astrology and energy healing in a health resort. He should work with others, not run his own business as he has no earth. But perhaps he can journey to meet the element of earth so it can help him.

THIRD, ANALYSE THE ASCENDANT.
3. We observe the Ascendant and see whether any planets or asteroids or trans-Neptunian planets conjunct it.

Yes, Stefan has Astraea conjunct Poseidon in Libra conjunct his Libra ascendant making him a highly ethical, pure and precise person. With Poseidon conjunct his Ascendant Stefan is truly spiritual, a light worker, clear and transparent in his goodness and he very well could teach psychology, healing or astrology as Poseidon is often associated with education as well as higher spirituality. His Saturn, Venus and Mercury in his 9th house indicate that he would achieve whatever degrees he wanted to at university and teach at university or college or any metaphysical college. People could trust Stefan completely as he always tells the truth. He is a truly nice, balanced person.

FOURTH 4. DOES NEVILLE HAVE ANY T-SQUARES OR GRAND TRINES OR GRAND SQUARES?

Stefan has no T squares, grand squares or grand trines with just his planets. If we include Chiron he has a T Square between his Uranus in his first house, his 22 degree Cancer Midheaven and Chiron in his 7th house.

1. This tells us that he is very caring and motherly in his career and a dedicated healer (Chiron), but wisely he keeps his distance between his professional and personal life (Uranus in his 1st house).
Stefan’s mother may have been distant and cold, but rather intense and possessive at times, so it is natural for him to distance himself personally and professionally. Stefan will have to learn about attachment disorders so I will describe them here. An attachment disorder is a term used to describe disorders of mood, behavior, and social relationships arising from a failure to form normal attachments to primary care giver in early childhood. Such a failure would result from unusual early experiences of neglect, abuse, abrupt separation from caregivers between 6 months and three years of age, frequent change or excessive numbers of caregivers, or lack of caregiver responsiveness to child communicative efforts resulting in a lack of basic trust. A person’s attachment style is permanently established before the age of three. A problematic history of social relationships occurring after about age three may be distressing to a child, but does not result in attachment disorder.

There are four categories of attachment patterns: 1. secure attachment and two types of insecure attachment, 2. avoidant attachment and 3. anxious attachment. The fourth attachment category, known as 4. disorganized attachment, occurs when no organized strategy is formed.
Attachment researchers have identified attunement as being significant in the formation of an attachment. Attunement means being in harmony; being aware of and responsive to another. Emotional attunement involves being in harmony first with oneself, then with another and finally with circumstances. Attunement and attachment are related in that an adult, who is available, attuned and responsive to a child’s needs, beginning in infancy, establishes a secure attachment for that child. This attunement creates a strong foundation from which that child can explore the world.

A lack of attunement from a parent or primary caregiver results in an insecure attachment developing in the relationship with their child. Here I discuss how an avoidant attachment pattern develops when parents are cold, emotionally unavailable and distant, and children then try to shut down their awareness of their primary needs. Stefan may have an avoidant atttachment disorder because his Moon-Uranus is the apex of his only yod.

Parents of children with an avoidant attachment tend to be emotionally unavailable or unresponsive to them a good deal of the time. They disregard or ignore their children’s needs, and can be especially rejecting when their child is hurt or sick. These parents also discourage crying and encourage premature independence in their children.

In response, the avoidant attached child learns early in life to suppress the natural desire to seek out a parent for comfort when frightened, distressed, or in pain. By not crying or outwardly expressing their feelings, they are often able to partially gratify at least one of their attachment needs, that of remaining physically close to a parent. Children identified as having an avoidant attachment with a parent tend to disconnect from their bodily needs. Some of these children learn to rely heavily on self-soothing, self-nurturing behaviors. They develop a pseudo-independent orientation to life and maintain the illusion that they can take complete care of themselves. As a result, they have little desire or motivation to seek out other people for help or support. What behaviors are associated with avoidant attachment in children? Even as toddlers, many avoidant children have already become self-contained, precocious “little adults.” As noted, the main defensive attachment strategy employed by children with avoidant attachment is to never show outwardly a desire for closeness, warmth, affection, or love.

People who formed an avoidant attachment to their parent or parents while growing up have what is referred to as a dismissive attachment in adulthood. Because they learned as infants to disconnect from their bodily needs and minimize the importance of emotions, they often steer clear of emotional closeness in romantic relationships. Dismissively attached adults will often seek out relationships and enjoy spending time with their partner, but they may become uncomfortable when relationships get too close. They may perceive their partners as “wanting too much” or being clinging when their partner’s express a desire to be more emotionally close.

When faced with threats of separation or loss, many dismissive men and women are able to focus their attention on other issues and goals. Others tend to withdraw and attempt to cope with the threat on their own. They deny their vulnerability and use repression to manage emotions that are aroused in situations that activate their attachment needs. When they do seek support from a partner during a crisis, they are likely to use indirect strategies such as hinting, complaining, and sulking.

Stefan may not have this, but with a Ceres-Admetos apex yod and a Moon-Uranus apex yod it is likely.

NOW TO ANALYSE STEFAN’S YODS.

Neville actually has two yods. Each yod actually echoes the other.
In the first yod Ceres-Admetos conjunction in Taurus in the 7th house quincunxes both his Neptune in the 2nd house in Sagittarius and Pluto in Libra in his 12th house.

The second yod has Moon-Apex in the first house quincunx Mars in Aries in the 6th house and quincunx South Node conjunct Sun conjunct Hygeia.

THE CERES-ADMETOS- PLUTO-NEPTUNE YOD

The Ceres myth may indicate that Stefan may have problems with attachment to women because Ceres-Ademetos is in his 7th house of relationships so I would advise he has therapy for this as he needs to evolve from his relationship with his mother, if he hasn’t already.

THEMIS AS AN EARLY FORM OF DEMETER (CERES): “THE BRINGER OF LAW”. Themis is an ancient Greek Titaness. She designated as “[the Lady] of good counsel”, and is the embodiment of divine order, fairness, law, natural law, and custom. Themis was the Titan goddess of divine law and order, the traditional rules of conduct first established by the gods. She was also a visionary goddess who presided over the most ancient oracles, including Delphi. In this role, she was the divine voice (themistes) who first initiated and educated mankind in the primal laws of justice and morality, such as the precepts of piety, the rules of hospitality, good governance, conduct of assembly, and pious offerings to the gods. In Greek, the word themis referred to divine law, those rules of conduct long established by custom. Unlike the word nomos, the term “themis” was not usually used to describe laws of human decree, because Themis is divine law. Themis was an early bride of Zeus and his first guiding counsellor. She was often characterized seated beside his throne instructing him on the principles of divine law and the guidelines of fate. Themis was closely identified with Demeter Thesmophoros or the “Bringer of Law”. Undeniably, Themis’ six children, the spring-time Horai (Horae, Seasons) and death-bringing Moirai, the Fates, reflect the dual-functions of Demeter (Ceres) ‘s own daughter Persephone. Themis was also identified with Gaia (Gaea, Earth) especially in the role of the oracular voice of earth.

ASTRAEA AS THE DAUGHTER OF THEMIS. The daughter of Themis and Zeus was Dike (Dicé) who was the goddess of justice, fair judgements and the rights established by custom and law. She was one of the three Horai (Horae), goddesses of the seasons, and keepers of the gates of heaven. Her sisters were Eunomia (Good Order) and Eirene (Peace). Like her siblings, she probably also represented an aspect of springtime growth. Dike was identified with Dikaiosyne (Righteousness) and Astraea or the Constellation Virgo. Her opposite number was Adikia (Adicia) (Injustice).

Astraea is very important to Stefan. Stefan could also combine a law and psychology degree which means he could work in child protection and social justice for women as well. I feel his chart indicates proficiency in science, and law as long as he keeps psychology as the hub of his career.

STEFAN’S ADMETOS CONJUNCTION CERES
The role of Ceres in astrology covers these areas. 1. Ceres is the all nourishing protector who looks after food and sustenance in all ways including growing food, diet, health and people’s behaviours with food, 2. Ceres as a protector of agriculture, 3. Ceres as a sentinel in parental relationships, 4. Ceres as the epitome of survival and adaption of the species, 5. Ceres as a productive worker, 6. Ceres the mother as an indicator of all phases of fertility, 7. Ceres in her role in childcare and children’s education, 8. Ceres as the guardian of the family, 9. Ceres as the custodian of nurturing and helping professions such as nursing, midwifery, gynecology and 10. Ceres as the protector of animals e.g. veterinary surgeons, breeders and protectors of endangered species.

Here Stefan is most likely to be in nurturing and helping professions.

Stefan has Admetos conjunct his Ceres which indicates that he will be a force of good. World renowned medical astrologer Eileen Nauman states that:
Admetos’ glyph contains the symbol of Mercury with the cross of “Matter” inside of the circle. Mercury symbolizes the Cosmic antenna that all Admetos people possess. The Cross of Matter means that they can not only ground what they ‘receive’ from their antenna, but manifest it into our third dimensional world. These are world beaters. World builders. At their highest, Admetos people are world creators and visionaries for the future of our planet and people.

Eileen also adds to her Admetos article that Admetos people have mother issues which adds an echo to what I have said about Stefan’s Moon conjunct Uranus. In the myth Admetos’ mother, who is already very old refuses to take his place when he begs her to go to Hades instead of him. So this is a rejection issue.

  • This is what Eileen says about Admetos:
Mother (issues with our biological mother/integrating feminine energy within ourselves/positive or negative “dark” mother archetype). Every Admetos person has mother (Moon) issues. The harder the aspect to the person’s Moon the more this will stamp the Admetos person heavily and scar them for life. They may have had no breast milk as an infant, which personifies life giving nutrients, nurturing and maternal love. And by ‘breast milk’, I’m saying the mother did not nurture her Admetos baby, whether there was breast or bottle milk available. Not every woman is capable of mothering and in this case, the Admetos child is damned from the moment of conception. Admetos may search all of his or her life for sustenance, life quenching, life giving experiences through people, places and things. It is a lifetime of searching for breast milk to sustain and help them bloom, metaphorically speaking. Admetos children can become orphaned more than any other planet in astrology. And even if the Admetos child has parents, he or she is still an orphan because neither parent ever really ‘parents’ the child. Thus, relationships with mothering or nurturing kinds of relatives/friends. Admetos people who were rejected at birth by their mother (literally or figuratively speaking), will usually compensate by seeking out people who are not like his or her parents or mother. Instead, they will draw nurturing people who feed Admetos instead. This is why Admetos blooms later in life They may not have had any choice in their parents, but they have full control to choose their friends. And the second time around, they choose people who lavish them with the food of life instead of starving emotionally to death as they did in childhood.
  • Eileen also tells her audience that Admetos people need to be able to work through the wounding.
    She says:
then, the Admetos person may discover the rich inner treasures of themselves and connect with their many talents. Of all the Uranian planets, Admetos people are dragged down through the depths of hell (childhood) and then struggle like the Shaman/Wounded Healer archetype, and work through their pain. They then “bloom” and discover their inner treasures and later in life begin to utilize and share them with the world.
    http://blog.medicinegarden.com/2010/04/admetos-uranian-planet-of-manifestation/

Admetos people because Admetos returns from the dead later in life, are late bloomers and in their thirties, as an ugly duckling they turn into a swan. Admetos people make excellent researchers, detectives or psychologists or surgeons as they are truly wonderful at finding the root cause of problems. This echoes Stefan’s Hygeia conjunct Sun conjunct South Node in the 8th house. Admetos people need meditation and prayer because they are fully tapped into the universe. Meditation and prayer renews their energy and helps their balance, spirituality and creativity. Being alone in a quiet, low-stress, mother-nature home or cabin is good for them. Nature like meditation recharges their battery. If their own quiet home is not possible they should at least have one special room and their own plants in their house or at work.

I am an Admetos person and I always rejoice when I meet other Admetos people who have worked through their pain and move on to be a world server. The major way I moved through my wounding was through shamanic soul retrievals, so if you can find a good, trustworthy shamanic practitioner who works with the Divine you will bloom and grow. As we move on to Degas we will find he too is an Admetos person as he has Admetos conjunct his Midheaven.

Therefore, I believe with Admetos-Ceres apex to his yod with quincunxes to Pluto and Neptune he should be able to nurture his ability to see things realistically, be less absent minded, need a great deal of reassurance, be highly idealistic and be less obliged to people (Neptune in his 2nd house.) Neptune speaks about Spirit; that part of us that exists outside of physicality, time or space. Spirit has a much different perception of existence. Viewed from the perspective of immortality, the brief sojourns we have on earth are important tools for growth. But Neptune as “Spirit” has a natural tendency to help and comfort, like angels are said to do at our times of crisis. Those of us with an extra helping of Neptune or Pisces in our chart are naturally inclined towards compassion with a strong desire to help others; or in the words of some Pisceans: “be of service.” Hey, but what about money coming in, food on the table; our body being healthy; all that is important to be grounded and here with our feet on the ground is not Neptune or Pisces. The Neptune-Piscean’s persons boundaries are wishy washy. The problem with a Neptunian- Piscean is that they expect other people to think about their feelings and the hard-core reality is that most people are so busy going about their own lives to bother thinking about the feelings of the Neptunian-Piscean. Psychotherapists or counselling astrologers call this Neptunian emotional fluidity, ethereality or floaties, “hyperawareness of other’s emotions.” This lack of boundaries or “where do I end and the other person start” is a symptom of co-dependency.

With Pluto quincunxing his apex he will work towards letting go and eliminating redundant and self-sabotaging habits and practices, obsessions, emotional reserve and his need for certainty, control and manipulation because of his need to be correct. He is, with Pluto in the 12th capable of handling crises and take charge. He has a great deal of inner strength.

STEFAN’S 2ND YOD
The second yod has Moon-Uranus as Apex in the first house quincunx Mars in Aries in the 6th house and quincunx South Node conjunct Sun conjunct Hygeia.

The quincunx tells us that this person must adjust and fine-tune both his intuition, subjective perceptions and emotional expressiveness (Moon) so that he is not too quick and impulsive to emote and feel. This could very well affect his workplace relationships (Mars in the 6th) and his adrenal health (Mars in his 6th house). Mars can be in a quincunx either inhibited, timid, anxious and repress his anger or too aggressive. This may also indicate that Stefan feels unsure of his ability to be a psychologist (Moon quincunx Sun in 8th and Mars in 6th) and he continually puts off the decision to study and gain his credentials. Then, typically of a quincunx and yod he will regret his indecisiveness for the rest of his life. Scorpio is not a comfortable placement for the Moon and in a quincunx it can be too quick to feel paranoia and suspicion. If Stefan is to be a psychologist or psychological astrologer I suggest at least he completes a certificate in counselling as some universities have purely scientific-clinical courses and the psychologists emerge without any compassion or the milk of human kindness. A Mars quincunx Sun may also indicate the loss of a parent early in life and he will have to be self-reliant, hard working and miss out on childhood.

DEGAS’S YODS (THIS ANALYSIS IS WRITTEN FOR DEGAS’S MOTHER, NOT DEGAS.)

PART ONE. ANALYSING DEGAS’S  CHART SHAPE.

Degas has a Splash Chart. His planets are splashed all throughout the horoscope wheel. He may have diverse interests, but can be easily scattered. He needs to work hard to prevent being a “jack of all trades, and master of none.” But he can be taught to consolidate.

DEGAS’S ELEMENT BALANCE

Degas has an overabundance of fire and no earth. With his Sun conjunct Venus in Aries in his ninth house he can become manic in his beliefs about not being loved because he is true Mills and Boon romantic. He must be taught to be moderate in love.

The fire element in us is seen through inspired acts that are led by intuitive impulses. It’s the surge forward into new ground, often without restraint. The three signs that are fire are:

Aries is cardinal fire: surging, flashing, and initiating.
Leo is fixed fire: passionate, warming, stabilizing, and fully expressing.
Sagittarius is mutable fire; infinitely flexible, swift, and far-flung.

Degas has them all with Sun, Venus and Mercury in Aries. When negatively expressed, there can be an over-emphasis on self-expression without consideration for others’ feelings, resulting in selfishness, egotism or fanaticism. Fire can “burn itself out” when it lacks a practical outlet for its high-voltage energy.

If you have low Earth energy you may feel unsupported, that you don’t fit in anywhere or even overwhelmed by day to day tasks of responsibilities. When an element is missing in a horoscope, it may mean that certain traits are weak. But it may also mean that the person just doesn’t consider them important. Sometimes this could lead to overcompensation. The person knows that there is a weakness and tries to overcome it. For instance, lack of planets in Earth Signs could just mean the ideals are so high that they may never be capable of being realized on Earth. Or that there is a lack of concern with practical, day-to-day matters. In my experience low or no earth indicates no natural common sense; no natural organizational skills (your may be rotten at filing); a body sense (you get sick and you have no idea what is causing it) and no financial skills..

His Moon in water with Saturn and Uranus is spasmodic and quick to slide down into depression, so he needs lots of help balancing his emotions and feeling safe, for he is quick to feel anxious or fearful.
.

PLANETS AROUND HIS ASCENDANT.

Degas has Trans-Pluto in his 1st house. Trans Pluto is a little-known archetype. Lynn Koiner is the doyen here. She states firstly that the life lesson associated with Trans Pluto is learning wholeness and integration in your relationships with others. The concept of wholeness and integration is working for something, fighting for something, because it is correct for the whole, not any specific individual or the self. With a sense of integrity, it is the correct thing to do in a wholistic sense. Secondly, she maintains that a dominant Trans Pluto epitomizes one who grew up in a critical, perfectionist environment, where your personality and ego were picked to pieces. Though we sought integration and wholeness through others, the others only reconstituted us the way that they wanted. What we learned is that there is no perfection and being whole is not being perfect. Thirdly Lynn suggests that in being whole we do not seek the approval of others. We merely seek personal happiness as a more fulfilling ethic than the approval of others. Fourthly she states that wholeness is attained through your work with groups. She also suggests that when there are strong natal or transiting aspects from Uranus and or Pluto, which Neville has, to Trans Pluto one really should be practical and end care-taking or dependency relationships in your life, so that you can be self-sufficient. Trans Pluto represents a long process of achieving wholeness and integration, becoming what we want and need to be regardless of what others think. Trans Pluto people need to address the needs of the inner person and though this process they experience separations, alienation, loss, criticisms that estrange and sometimes painful experiences that drive them towards self-approval and being what we need to be for ourselves. Consequently, self-sufficiency is needed to distance yourself from critical, dependent types so that you can live your own life for yourself. It represents the long process from perfectionism, to self-sufficiency to wholeness. It is a time of doing what you wish to do regardless of what anyone says, a time to follow your heart and do what is creative. It means taking a risk, the risk of criticism, but the change undertaken brings such joy that you are not burdened by what others think. In knowing this, what others think is not a problem for you. The more you know who you really are and what truly defines who you are and not what others expect of you the less you are affected by what others think, expect or say.

PATTERNS IN DEGAS’ CHART

Degas has no astrological patterns but he has Moon conjunct Saturn in Cancer (which is the sign of a hoarder). Cancer is very emotional. I want you to see if you can get a book on rational-emotive therapy and look at irrational beliefs which most people have and they can be over-ridden. It all needs lots of self-discipline and practice. The emotion needs to be removed and the extremes too. A suicidal ideation reaction is extreme, not moderate. Normally Moon Saturn limits the feelings, and depresses the feelings, but in Cancer the emotions brood and stew and then burst out like a flood after a tornado. These people are easily crushed and hurt. Life seems so hard for them. The Moon conjunction Saturn is quincunx Mars conjunct Neptune. This means he finds it impossible to understand his feelings and emotions. They are confusing and misunderstood (Neptune), sort of misty and cobwebby and scary (Saturn) so there is fear there because he does not understand himself. It is also a co-dpendent aspect, but he wants you close and will push you away especially where friends are concerned. This is typical for a boy from about age seven to maybe 20, but Mars/Moon-Saturn too has highs and lows of energy and headaches and again for him it is confusing. Dance, art and swimming would help there and chi gong or TaiChi and he needs a master, like a Tai Chi or Chi Gong master. This quincunx is important because if this push pull behaviour is not bought under control and the suicide ideation is not bought under control it can be called Borderline Personality Disorder.

I think the healing I have suggested in this article can help. This article may help. Puberty can be a very distressing time for teenagers. Please read both https://www.verywellmind.com/borderline-personality-and-paranoia-425194 and https://www.nami.org/Blogs/NAMI-Blog/October-2017/Why-Borderline-Personality-Disorder-is-Misdiagnosed

He does have Mercury in Aries conjunct Juno opposite Hygeia in Libra and Hygeia here is very concerned about companions, having a social life and combined with Sun conjunction Venus these people want to be in love. Hygeia opposite Juno-Mercury in Aries presents a severe self-esteem problem. Mercury in Aries is self-centered and impulsive so there is much conflict going on in Degas’s head about his behaviour: self blame and mental beating-up.

His Juno conjunction Mercury in his 8th house of ancestors is highly intense and needs healing work. With Juno is in the 8th House marriage is a deeply personal and significant union in your eyes and he would judge would marriage indicates to him via his parent’s intense marriage. He values love, commitment and the promise of marriage. He longs to make a lasting commitment in an equal relationship and want to exchange the vows of commitment in an official ceremony. It doesn’t matter to him whether or not this ceremony is performed in a traditional or unorthodox ceremony, but he does want the comfort that the ritual of making vows provides. Once a vow is made then he is determined to keep it. He expects the same from your spouse. He has a great capacity for being honest, loyal and trustworthy in your intimate relationships but this also needs to be experienced from your partner. He enjoys the intensity of romance and passion at the start of your marriage and the excitement of setting up a home together. However, much to his own chagrin, e finds that familiarity can indeed breed contempt. The daily grind of living together soon loses its shine. His challenge is to keep the flames of romance burning, and to find meaning within daily acts of love and kindness. Otherwise he soon becomes bored, and if this is the case you are likely to create conflict simply for the effect of escaping boredom or look for trouble where it doesn’t exist. He may start to doubt your partner’s commitment, either because you realize that your behavior is not conducive to loving relations or because he is suspicious of is spouse’s behavior. Possessiveness and jealousy, either your own or your spouse’s, can cause further problems. The birth of a child in this scenario is unlikely to prove a salve to your problems. In fact, it is more likely to cause further tribulations. Love, loss and betrayal can become themes in his marriage if you remain unconscious of the need to keep the relationship alive. You need to be mindful of not turning your love life into the soap operas that you enjoy so much. One hopes he can attract a partner who is supportive, enterprising, as well as challenging and confronting in positive ways. But much of this depends on his parents’ role modelling and going for rational emotive therapy and systems family therapy. Degas needs to learn how to listen without judgement to another person’s point of view.

Personal relationships exist on a knife’s edge for people with Borderline Personality Disorder so I recommend counselling. Medications do not work with BPD, only counselling and more shamanic healings if possible. It is rare, I will mention, for a person who has been diagnosed with Aspergers’ Syndrome to have a fruitful relationship as they do not understand social skills. So he may not have this affliction.

I have included asteroids and Nodes to make two yods. These are not as powerful as pure planetary yods.

I feel this is important to say. Degas does have Medea, the goddess asteroid, widely conjunct his midheaven along with Admetos. When Medea is prominent in a birth chart she reveals the need to explore the ancient tradition of herbalism, alternate natural folk law, magic, ceremony and ritual. Intuitively he will know the natural cycle of the body and what it needs to be well. Medea reminds us to honor the ancient custom of relating to the plant world, the wisdom of nature and the powerful healing and transforming properties embedded in the natural world. Medea is in his 10th House. Underlying the foundations of his life path is this transformational and charismatic and influential goddess. This placement may also suggest that one of Degas’ parents is powerfully persuasive about what is important and what path should be taken. Medea suggests that it is important for him to find the expression of truth in the world that probably has to do with either championing the disenfranchized, using power and influence for positive change, or healing and therapeutic activities. The 10th house is our pathway through the world and with Medea here fulfilling your skills at healing, change management, empowering the wounded would need to be used, but these skills will always be improving and changing as you utilize them in the world. It is imperative to trust is instincts and support himself when he knows he’s right, even against all odds. It is often through adversity and the challenge of authority from superiors that you find his powerful voice to speak the truth, not just for himself, but all those who are underprivileged and victimized. One of the tools to express your powerful transforming abilities is your own body. Whether he uses his hands to massage a sore back or to cook a sumptuous meal he has the healing touch. However, this therapeutic magic can also be expressed through the power of other senses as well, whether that is conveyed through a healing voice or an inspirational image. He may have the gift of being a medical intuitive because he can feel the illness in your own body. Or he may hear messages through your faculty of clairaudience or see visions through his gift of clairvoyance. While his fate may not be mediumistic your body has strong feeling responses that are important to become aware of. While his aches and pains, muscular tension, stiff neck and other bodily complaints may have a literal explanation the goddess also has a deeper one: his body is signalling his discomfort with this situation or person. Like a tuning fork his body responds instinctively to danger in the atmosphere. In the body sensitivity is focused on the throat.

DEGAS’S QUINCUNXES AND YODS

Strictly speaking Degas has no true planetary yods, but everything except Mercury opposite Jupiter is quincunx. So there is a lot of compartmentalised energy in him, which as an image, seems to echo his “splash chart”. I explained quincunxes in all my yod/quincunx articles. He could be until he evolves through healing like the owner of a house where there are many rooms but now windows or doors into the rooms.

YOD 1. He does however have a yod with an ADMETOS apex at 22 degrees Taurus conjunct his 21 degree 45 minute TAURUS MIDHEAVEN quincunx his PLUTO at 24 degrees Sagittarius in his 5th house and quincunx his Moon’s SOUTH NODE in Libra in his 3rd house. Ceres at 22 degrees 56 Scorpio in his 4th house is midpoint his Pluto and South Node indicating the need for many past life healing(s) and ancestral healings to cleanse this yod that may hold Degas back until it is cleansed.

With the apex, Admetos conjunct his ascendant Degas’ apex is easy to see. This is what Eileen Nauman says:
Admetos people are specialists in some career area and they will be the best at what they do. They may appear to be a treasure trove of unlimited and vast information in many different areas. Press a button and they have something of worth and depth to say about a myriad amount of subjects. They, more than any other planet, are able to tap into the Archetypal connection with archetypes to pull vast storehouses of knowledge out and verbalize or write about for everyone else. But ordinarily, Admetos people simply don’t communicate much. It’s like pulling ‘teeth’ to get information out of them. But his powers of endurance on every level of being are legendary. Like a bull elephant who can just keep going, and going, and going, but when they exhaust themselves; it’s deep and their recovery time is slow.

Eileen adds:
Admetos people are like a very slow blooming flower. The Ugly Duckling Story and Cinderella fits them to a tee. They have a rich, inner life. They are the children who played happily alone and didn’t need others around in order to be entertained. Admetos reminds me of the Century Plant flower essence: Breakthrough via slow but sure, persistence and endurance. And this is why they aren’t externalized very much. Their inner life, their fertile creative mind and rainbow emotions keep them forever enthralled. For someone on a spiritual path (and we all are), the Admetos person has a vast, rich connection with the Other Side. http://blog.medicinegarden.com/2010/04/admetos-uranian-planet-of-manifestation/

Shamans are found in this position. And the earlier he can start the better. Start with Carl Greer’s book.

Eileen has other Admetos suggestions which seen true of Degas:
They have a great ability to concentrate, deeply and with laser-like focus. Shamans need this ability or they can’t journey. A doctor who is a surgeon needs it. There are many jobs that require this high degree of focus. They usually have a career that is “behind the scenes,” and they dislike the spotlight. If given a choice, they would rather remain in the background and not out front. They know they get more done working alone and hermit-like than ever being like a Hollywood star/politician, who is just the opposite of them.
They can be emotionally messed up and there can be water (Moon) issues, which he has. Once those issued are aired, the excess emotion goes away. Giving “voice” to their suppression/repression will ease the water weight issues. It’s tough for an Admetos person to cry. But cry they must. They are conservative by nature. A job that entails a lot of interface with people will stress them out quickly. They work better alone or with low to no supervision. Admetos people are self-starters. They dislike being told what to do; frequently a lot smarter than the boss or manager who is above them in the company setting. For best results, Admetos should start his or her own business or company. They have a lot of patience and perseverance to see something through. Their word is their bond. They watch what a person does, not what they say. Their ‘walk is their talk.’ What you see is what you get. There’s no varnish on an Admetos person. They are plain clothed, unassuming, like silent shadows that walk among us.

A quincunx to his South Node in Libra in his 3rd house suggests communication problems. He has no time for gossip, superficiality or trivia. A quincunx to Pluto indicates taking to many risks and being motivated by erotic, sexual lust rather than love. He also could be totally celibate. A creative outlet would help emotional problems. He may be extraordinarily possessive of his loved ones. Quincunxes to the Midheaven can indicate a need to champion the oppressed and change the world. He may be a pryer into other’s lives and he may harbor much resentment. He finds it difficult to be playful and he tends to be a frustrated rebel. With a Pluto quincunx he can be fearful of uncertainty.

As the legs of this yod are two indicators of past lives it is absolutely necessary to do healings for these times: 1. Around the year 979-980 AD, probably in Mexico, 2. Around 18,200 years ago in the Far North East of Siberia and 2. The year 1687 AD possibly on a ship sailing near Australia. I cannot do them before late January 2021, but if you find an ethical and experienced shamanic healer the healings must be soul retrievals. Try Carl Greer, Betsy Bergstrom or Sandra Ingerman.

YOD 2. CERES AS THE APEX of a yod that includes on one leg ERIS 20 degrees Aries on his 8th house /9th house cusp, his NORTH NODE in Aries at 22 degrees 45 minutes and his SUN in the 9th house and the other leg has HADES at 22 degrees 58 minutes in his 11th house.

Degas is still only a teenager and I do not know where he wishes to head career wise. But here are his Ceres’ possibilities: The role of Ceres in astrology covers these areas.
As Ceres is in the house of his home and family in Scorpio it is most important that we look at his Moon which is in Cancer conjunct Saturn on the cusp of his 12th house. He has recently moved school and lost his precious friends so he must learn not to withdraw into a 12th house cocoon. With Ceres conjunct his IC he must resist withdrawing into the archetype of loss and grief and return of loved ones or rejection and acceptance which apparently is what he has been doing and I suspect with Ceres in Scorpio he sees himself nurturing his own inner child with deep and intense emotional brooding. Ideally he should be building calm, emotional control.

So what does Eris suggest right next to his North Node and Sun. For a start Eris is in his 8th house of ancestors and shared resources so as Eris is in a quincunx we can expect that he doesn’t know much about his ancestors and some are doing him no good at all. And in my three ancestral healings for Degas I have found that to be a huge understatement. The ancestors I have seen certainly resemble the blood lusting Eris to a tee; they were totally evil serial killers (full blown psychopaths who would be on death row today in the USA. In fact I have never seen such evil. However, thanks to my divine healing guides they are no gone.)

This is what the website of Astrograph astrological service tells us about Eris:
The astrology of Eris seems to be related to the no-holds-barred fight for continued existence that is fundamental in all natural process, and for making a stand for what one believes, even if violence is involved. As the sister of Mars, the God of War, Eris willingly sought the battle. There is a side of nature that is quite harsh, a struggle for survival, and this struggle is a fundamental part of the human condition as well, for we are still half animal. Nature can be viewed in a rosy light, as it was in the hippie movement of the sixties, Bambi drinking from a little stream, but underlying this beauty is the possibility of sudden death at any moment since all of nature’s children need to eat. Eris is related to this principle, and to the concept of the female warrior that embodies it, and especially to the feminist struggle for rights in a patriarchal society.

We saw Tiffaney Trump as the Eris archetype in the last yod article I wrote.

But what about assertion when one is a total whimp and retreats to deep depression, symptoms of Borderline Personality Disorder (which is along with schizophrenia, is one of the most serious psychoses) and threats of suicide. Assertion training and resilience training are vital for a child who has a family of tantrum throwers. Ceres quincunx Eris seems the perfect astrological description for a family of tantrum throwers, for Eris specialized in tantrum throwing when she could not get her own way. Tantrum thowing is a three year old behaviour and one side of it is depression and threats of suicide. Rational emotive therapy for excessive emotion and lack of self-discipline and resilience and self-assertion training are also necessities for an anxious-angry family and family systems psychotherapy is perfect for an out of control family.

And with North Node in Aries in his 8th house, the house of this ancestors conjunct Eris his job is to rebel against the sins of his evil ancestors who bought mental illness down through the generations and bring healing and cleansing and nurturing (Ceres quincunx Hades and Hades sextile North Node) through the ancient generations of his family.

CONCLUSION

The major reason I wrote this article was to teach the many people I hear from how to deconstruct and reconstruct a psychological-astrological case study of a person with one or more yods. We cannot possibly delineate or analyze a yod unless we look psychologically at a person’s back ground as a whole. I hope that looking at the psychological aspects of these two young men helps you in some way.

FELICTATIONS
I wish you all warm wishes and bright blessings for now and forever,
Hilary.

I am nearly finished the first draft of my Hygeia book by Hilary Bond PhD

Hi to all my followers and hello to everyone who reads my Hygeia posts,

I am at the stage where I am adding the last touches to all my chapters. I have written roughly 400 pages.

Who is Hygeia as a mythological and historical archetype? She is an old totemic goddess of goodness, abundance, fertility, springs, rivers and healthy countryside in regards to geographical-ecological and personal environment, who is part of European Neolithic culture and who is reconstituted in ancient Greek Classical times about 2,400 years ago, because of threats to Greece and her colonies. Astrologically, she pinpoints your weaknesses in regard to your physical, psychological, mental, emotional and etheric health. If you are of a high vibration she points to your soul path, so she may focus on the health problems you are a specialist in if you are a doctor, a social worker, a psychologist, teacher, herbalist, naturopath, healer, chiropractor, astrologer etc.

I have a long introduction and a long “Hygeia Discovery Chart chapter” which gave me a lot of extra ideas on what Hygeia actually does. I just added three Sabian Symbols to this chapter and consulted Lynda Hill, the doyen of Sabian Symbols about using them. She was really excited. Its great to work with another experienced and positive astrologer.

I have short mythology and history chapter and this includes Hygeia’s mythological and astrological friends; her medical background and the ancient healing techniques that were part of the Ascelepian-Hygeian temple-hospitals.

I have a long chapter on the elements and long chapters on the effect of Hygeia through all the signs and all the houses, but my longest chapter is on Hygeia’s relationship (through the geometric aspects) with the Ascendant, Midheaven, Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Chiron, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. But I also include two other astrological groups: first the Trans-Neptunians as they have physical medical affects and psychological affects and secondly on the largest asteroids. Therefore I analyse the affect and effect of these Trans-Neptunian planets with Hygeia: Vulcanus, Zeus, Kronos, Admetos, Hades, Cupido, Apollon, and Poseidon. The aspects I use are the conjunction, sextile, trine, square, opposition and quincunx. I also analyse horoscopes where people have aspects between Transpluto (obsession and perfection) and Hygeia and Eris (discord) and Hygeia, as well as Hygeia’s aspects to Athena (wisdom), Juno (relationships), Vesta (focus), Ceres (mothering), Cassandra (intuition), Mnemosyne (memory), Medea (pagan practices), Ariadne (abandonment of self for love), Hecate (grief and loss) and Astraea (justice, law and order, purity and resilience.)

I do have a couple of other chapters, but I’ll leave them as a surprise.

If you feel you have something to contribute to this book or you would like a small cameo in it please message me via my Starcounsll website.

I wish you many blessings and warm wishes,
Hilary

INTRODUCTION

When Penny wrote to me she displayed a wish to “find information about the quincunxes in my natal chart. I’m fascinated by your blog posts, but also a bit new to fully understand the vastness of it all.”

I asked Penny why she wanted me to look at her quincunxes. She replied:
I am a creative deeply thinking person who wants to focus on moving into more loving and authentic self -expression. I’d like to take care of my body more as it been a challenge the past few years. I’d like to show and sell my art and transition away from my current job. I would like to attract a passionate partner and more soulful friends.

I wrote back and asked, “What is your current career?”

Penny replied:
I’m working as a soap production manager for an organic company in Colorado. I manage a production team as well as production planning and facility expansion as we are growing quickly. It’s been a busy job. I feel it’s very a masculine role despite the fact that’s it’s a skincare company. I also create. I paint and create mixed media art. My art is a passion and I would love to try become more serious about this passion of mine. I’ve sold a few pieces over the years however with the demands of work I feel I don’t have much energy to put my art on the forefront. The contrast between what I do and what I’d like to do is often on my mind.

When I answered Penny I wrote, “Penny I taught art in schools and at university, art depends on joy. Joy depends on energy. If we are tried or depressed, we do not have passion or joy and both of them are need to create vibrant art. I have been a professional artist for many years. Art depends on how organised you are so time management is essential. I believe you can keep you skin care management role and your artist role.”

PENNY’S OVERALL CHART CONTEXT

The first thing I checked were the elements in Penny’s horoscope. I wanted to check on the amount of earth she had in her chart, even though she had Saturn conjunct her Sun and Ascendant. Penny had two planets in air, (plus Chiron in Gemini in 7th), Neptune in earth, two planets and her Moon in fire and three planets, her Sun plus her Ascendant and South Node.

When people have a lack of earth, they can overdo their ability to organise and be organised and to be financially sufficient. Generally speaking, the earth element describes the ability to ground or naturally attune oneself to the physical world, physical body and the limitations or requirements needed for survival on the material plane. With too little Earth Penny may seem a bit “spacy” due to a lack of being grounded in the here and now. Their orientation to food, money, shelter and the physical body might be limited. Perhaps there should be more thought about eating healthy meals regularly, maintain the physical body with such daily rituals such as bathing, oral hygiene, shaving legs and or making sure the bills are paid. With this lack of the Earth Element the person may feel out of place in this world and this might lead to overwhelm or some beliefs that are not based on reality. Sometimes a person with weak earth may flit from job to job, or overspend and borrow money freely. Alternatively, they may overemphasize the practical by becoming secretaries or accountants, or being overly concerned about budgeting, details, and order. Because they do not feel grounded, they frequently seek security by adhering to a highly structured system of thought or by following an organized but rigid routine. But I would say, ‘Don’t leave your job with the organic company. Do your art on the weekend and make some friends in the art world. While it is great to paint, use multi-media or build artistic installations the most important thing about the art world is that one must make money and finance and health (like yods) are earth indicators. One of the more dangerous aspects of too little Earth, again, is ignoring the requirements of the physical body. Sometimes the physical needs may not even be considered at all, and when they are it can be very limited. Often these individuals fail to eat properly which leads to chronic nutritional ailments. Failing to get proper rest, or exercise at regular intervals also fall under the category of physical maintenance which is obviously so very important. For those lacking in the earth element maintaining a regular schedule in their lives will help considerably.

Penny’s chart is a funnel shape, otherwise known as a bucket chart with Chiron as funnel. The life theme is the energy associated with the bucket handle. The energy of the handle “holds” life together during both the good and the bad times. This shape is associated with a strong tendency towards conflict and crisis or the effort to avoid these situations (which is associated with passivity or with “subduing” to the energy of the bucket handle). However, even in this passive case the person will try sometimes heroically display the behaviour of the bucket handle. The Handle Planet is the most important planet of the Bucket Pattern, focusing the energy of the nine Bowl planets and acting as their point of release, in a manner described by the sign and in the life, arena described by the house of the Handle Planet. In the Bucket, the “cutting” planet (the clockwise planet in the rim opposition) is of secondary importance. With the Bucket Pattern one tends to direct his or her efforts towards a single purpose, and to emphasize self-projection. If your Handle Planet is directly above the centre of your Bowl, you are highly directed and can go to great lengths to achieve your goals. If a core opposition, an opposition from a planet in the centre of the Bowl to the Handle planet, is also present, you have a great, single-minded ambition as well.

In psychological terms, Chiron is the Inner Teacher to whom we owe our allegiance. The cluster of astrological ingredients surrounding it may symbolise the tests, disciplines and ordeals which unfold under the tutelage of this Inner Teacher, whose path is Life itself, whether or not this includes following a particular spiritual tradition. Major crises of learning experiences can be reflected by any factor in the horoscope, but they are likely to be interpreted and processed in a manner congruent with the Chiron configuration. We also have to remember that Chiron represents the Wound/The Wounder/The Healer in our chart. Working with the personal issues that Chiron represents in our horoscope provides a means of grounding ourselves in our humanity and also defining our unique contribution to this transition in which we are all participating in at this time. Before the Middle Path is found and appreciated, Chiron tends to manifest in a wounded “all or nothing” way. With maturity and surrender, however, a feeling of rightness may come, often having means or overtones of connection with the dharma, with some context larger than ourselves; this is Chiron`s gift to us. Planets aspecting Chiron here represent inner and outer forces with which we must contend, lest they pull us away from the dharma. Chiron in the 7th House indicates that she learns about appropriate relationships. When we add the quality of the Sign in which Chiron is placed, it fills out this description and suggests a “way of Being” which supports us in the area of life represented by Chiron’s house. Chiron’s sign position may also show how we seek to protect ourselves from our inner pain, what we draw on to try to deal with an area of our life which may be blocked. Thus, the sign of Gemini, the communicator, may provide a kind of bandage over our wound (as expressed by Chiron’s house position) and this bandage is often removed during a strong Chiron transit. By examining the Chiron configuration, as well as looking into the psychological process and events coinciding with the Chiron cycle in our life, we may be able to assist in the process of healing by trying to get a clearer idea of what is happening, and also of the purpose behind the suffering or crisis.

A stellium, known in older forms of astrology as a satellitium, is simply a cluster of three (or, if the moon or sun are involved, four) or more planets in a single sign or house. Having a stellium in your natal chart means your life will be heavily influenced by the traits commonly associated with that sign or house, particularly in the areas your stellium planets rule. Stelliums aren’t really that rare, but it’s not common either. The great thing about your stelliums is that your goals are more focused. You are more likely to be excavator of truth, of religion, or higher philosophical meaning. Beware of being too rigid in your own belief system. You’d be someone who can make a career connected to the global environment such as travel, teaching, import/export, or publishing. With a Sagittarius stellium, there can be a tremendous amount of energy for you to expand, explore, and experience. You can be super optimistic, always seeing the brighter side of life, and come up with the biggest, boldest ideas possible, but sometimes you’re all talk and no walk. You need to learn to back up what you say with action so you’re not just hot air. You need to find something that gives you the freedom to spread your wings and fly.

The unfortunate thing I believe about stelliums is that you will either connect really well with some people or you don’t. Stelliums are concentrations of energies the actual stellium centres around the 12th and 1st house. It begins with Venus at 4 degrees 53 minutes conjunct Pluto at 5 degrees Scorpio conjunct South Node at 9 degrees conjunct Juno at 13 degrees Scorpio conjunct Medea at 20 degrees Scorpio in the 12th house which conjuncts the Sun at 21 degrees and the Sun conjuncts the ascendant at 22 degrees Scorpio. Saturn in the 1st house at 29 degrees is conjunct her Moon in Sagittarius at 4 degrees. The Moon is conjunct Mercury at 13 degrees and Mercury is conjunct Uranus at 16 degrees.

So, Scorpio and Sagittarius dominate the stellium and the 12th and first house. Scorpio is a sign that is very intense and can be very internal or introverted. The big lesson is trusting your own intuition and be open with others. Try very hard not to be paranoid. Not everyone is out to get you or hurt you. Work on healthy outlets and slowly letting another people in. Yes, sometimes you see things in depths others may not and that’s okay. Get to know people and fairly give them a chance to know things about you at your own pace. Learn to be open to receiving from others and not just me delivering and being in control all the time.

Penny’s Sun 21 degrees in 12th house conjunct ASC in Scorpio 22 degrees
• inconjunct Hygeia at 20 degrees in Aries in 5th house
• (Sun square Trans Pluto at 20 degrees Leo 42 mins 9th house)
• Sun trine Astraea at 21 degrees 22 mins in Pisces in Pola’s 4th house)
• Sun conjunct Medea 20 degrees Scorpio
• Saturn 29 degrees Scorpio 1st house

Penny does have four quincunxes
1. Jupiter 9 degrees 47 minutes in the 3rd house inconjunct Athena,
2. North Node 9 degrees Taurus in the 6th house inconjunct Mars in libra 10 degrees 34 minutes,
3. Moon 4 degrees Sag conjunct Mercury at 13 degrees in the 1st house inconjunct Athena at 8 degrees Cancer in 8th house
4. and Sun in Scorpio 21 degrees quincunx Hygeia in Aries 20 degrees in her fifth house.

Tonight, I am only investigating her Sun quincunx Hygeia as a past life and as a relocated Sun in Spain.

SUN INCONJUNCT HYGEIA. In your birth chart Penny, a quincunx (inconjunct) shows where parts of your life and nature simply don’t add up. The theory that we have multiple “selves” within us supports a quincunx. Planets and asteroids involved in a quincunx have completely different missions. They have no shared traits, elements or qualities, and therefore can work with cross-purposes. A quincunx is like extreme astrological multi-tasking: We have to serve both planets and their contrasting agendas all at once. Here your intense Scorpio Sun is forming a quincunx to Hygeia in impatient, independent Aries. Hygeia is really interested in your health and wellbeing and that well -being is via fast moving, impulsively made romance, laughter and fun. Hygeia in Aries needs a lot of exercise or sport. Running or going to gym would be ideal, but to compromise with your Sun in Scorpio in the 12th swimming in a secluded place or walking sedately through an isolated forest seems ideal. They need to find a way to work together to avoid getting stuck in analysis paralysis AND making sloppy errors in haste. In fact, in the case of your watery intense Sun and this impulsive Hygeia each archetype can seem like aliens to each other, operating so differently that major adjustments need to be made for them to cooperate.

The Sun in astrology symbolizes the core essence of who you are; your individuality and sense of self. It describes what is likely to motivate you, and why. You seek creativity, healing, transformation, and regeneration and you are loyal, focussed, pure, intimate, and erotic. You can be seductive, manipulative, controlling, and possessiveness. When the Sun is found in the mysterious sign of Scorpio, there is an emphasis on the subtle and the profound. Motivated by a need to create emotional closeness with others, and then to experience the raw truth of that connection, those born with the Sun in Scorpio often have much to learn about the nature of intimacy and power. Scorpio is a complex sign with many dimensions of expression. When the Sun is found in Scorpio, there is a gift for penetrating to the core essence of reality, to see things and others as they truly are.

I will illustrate the differences in attitudes, beliefs, values and even times here between Hygeia in Aries in the fifth house which equates to 32,065 BC, in other words 34,035 years ago. We do know that 31,000–16,000 years ago was the “Last Glacial Maximum (which peaked at 26,500 years ago), but other than small bands of people living around Spain and the Berring Straits we know little about that time. However, records of ancient Egypt suggest a very advanced civilization in some places on our planet. This is Penny speaking in her Hygeian persona in that life speaking.

“There are sixty-three men and only sixteen women, but we are all warriors. It is very hot where we are now, but we are training for war and this endurance training is part of our need for resilience. My parents agreed that I would join the army when I was very young; maybe five. I have not seen them since. My brother came with me. The earth was very different then. It was very cold mostly. I know because we have marched for thousands of miles. We are far more civilized than many people on earth, more cohesive and fit and healthy. My time in the army has made me fit and lean; fit mentally and fit physically. Sound health is a law, a decree that comes from the gods. Only the barbarians are unfit and short lived. We undergo long marches through the mountains. I love them. I am enormously fit. I am now in command and I will be chosen to be the queen because I am so very fit. ”

I have looked at geographically relocating Penny to live in Lisbon, Portugal and this is her report if she went to live there.

PENNY’S RELOCATED SUN LINE IN LISBON, PORTUGAL

This is an ideal place for advancement in your professional goals. If you want to take the focus away from your private life and place it on achieving your career ambitions then this location is beneficial. Here you are able to make the right connections to move forward in your chosen profession or to achieve a lifetime ambition. Job applications and promotions, marketing efforts, business associates, and business meetings should all prove successful under the influence of the Sun on this line. You have the ability to really shine in the world. You can experience some drawbacks when moving along this line. For instance, this location is not ideal if you want to settle down and start a family or if you want to spend more time with home and family unless this happens to be your major life ambition. You need to ensure that you keep your ambitions in check. You could be in for some disappointments if you are pursuing your ambitions to the exclusion of all else, or socialising only for the sake of self- advancement. However, if you maintain an appropriate balance in your life, you should be able focus on your goals and perhaps even achieve your life’s purpose.

Penny lived her Solar persona past life in Spain. This is the past life I saw in 1406 AD nearly a century before Christophero Columbo left Spain for America. When you read both the past life of Penny’s Sun persona life as the Spanish “habida” and the fit soldier in far off ancient times as the Hygeia persona. Both are women, but they would have no time for one another. That is the “quincunx between Scorpio Sun and Hygeia in Aries in the 5th house speaking.

“I am in Spain my beloved country, the country of my forebears. I am the dancer, fierce, passionate, and sexual. I dive and writhe my sinuous lithe body around men, empowering them to be splendid, vital and enormously clever. I am “habida”, a woman to have, a woman of lust. I am looked up to by other women, yet I must watch my back, for I am in constant danger because of the jealousy,  and revenge which follow me. I am constantly wary of the sharp hunting knife.”

I did not feel she would live long.

Can you see how Penny would try to compartmentalise the Aries Hygeia woman and the Sun Scorpio woman? Do you remember how when Penny  talked to me about her organic soap making career she told me it was a masculine career. That was clearly her Scorpio Sun persona talking. So let’s listen to her Venus in Scorpio tomorrow. But if Penny began to adjust spiritually, emotionally, physically and psychologically over time, with meditation and  yoga and maybe belonging to an art group and seeing a psychotherapist or psychological astrologer or shamanic astrologer  she could help her Hygeia persona and her Sun persona become friends.

CONCLUSION.

Today I just couldn’t get my act together and as a result when my energy finally gravitated to my computer I rushed through this blog. This really is a blog, not a really great article, but why I wanted to finish this is because there is a quincunx between Hygeia and the Sun and not just a natal quincunx, but first a geographical relocated chart and then two past lives showing why it really is so hard to blend the quincunx personas when you have a yod or just a quincunx. Tomorrow I’ll finish this blog off and turn it into an article. I want to analyse Hygeia trine Trans Pluto in Leo and Hygeia trine Vesta and Hygeia quincunx Ascendant.

Good night and I hope you enjoy what I have written,
Hilary

TESTIMONIAL FROM NEVILLE WHO IS THE CENTRAL FIGURE IN THIS ARTICLE

“I will always remember that wonderful article you wrote about my natal yod. It made such a difference to me. Thank you again for all that you do, and knowing you’re back if anyone ever asks me if I know a reputable professional astrologer, I’ll be sure to send them your way. ☺️

INTRODUCTION

I am analyzing four yod charts in this article. I hope my analysis helps you comprehend how to fathom a yoddish person and give them understanding of how to understand themselves; their previously unfathomable parts and eventually grow and thrive.  And if you are not a professional counselling astrologer, I have structured this article so you will find the strange depths of your yod clear and intelligible. You can stop scratching your head and wondering what the hieroglyphics in your horoscope actually means.

LEARNING HOW TO UNDERSTAND YOUR YODS IN THE CONTEXT OF YOUR CHART

It’s always good to have a general look around a horoscope before we focus on any yods. And here I teach you the appropriate protocol to construct a correct and helpful chart before we analyze any yods. Yods are, so to speak, the icing on the cake. They are another echo to the already established patterns and archetypes that already exist in the chart. So, we look first at the chart shape, then any singleton planets (or major asteroids or trans-Neptunian planets), then the elements and qualities. We observe any planets (or major asteroids or trans-Neptunian planets) clustering around the Ascendant, Midheaven, IC, DESC and Sun and Moon. The next step is to analyze the chart to find any T squares, grand trines, grand squares or if you have a kite or mystic rectangle. Now that you have a better understanding of this person you can approach their yods with a more empathic and logical view.

YODS IN FAMILIES: BEING A BLAMED FOR ALL THE FAMILY PROBLEMS IF YOU HAVE A YOD.

Karen Hamaker-Zondag does a great job of writing about yod people. Her ideas and mine follow:
1. Yod children/people are the result of many generations of ancestors who would not take responsibility for their problems. The yod person becomes the scapegoat.
2. Yod people don’t seem to have a great deal of realization of who they are and why, in the first half of their life.
3. Uranus can play a huge role in the yod families.
4. A yod person is the spokesperson for repressed generational problems.
5. An unlived, unbalanced or extreme and unsolved problem or theme over several generations can come out as a yod.
15. Often the yod child will be praised and loved by one parent and all of a sudden the “over the top parent” will swing the other way and criticize and spread rumors about the yod child who could now be in their fifties when the rejection suddenly has begun. I have seen this happen and it is horrific. The parent who does this will have limited emotional development and they are unaware of their own behaviours.
16. This sudden flip may happen at a critical juncture i.e. the projecting mother may start ripping her daughter or son and daughter apart the day of her husband’s funeral. I know of others.)
17. The birth of another child may cause this sudden change and the new baby gets all the attention and the yod child is ignored totally. The parent may then tell people the child has autism or Asperger’s syndrome, but the parent shows no sign of guilt. They totally blame the rejected child.

INTRODUCTION TO NEVILLE’S CHART

In this long article I am showing you how to deconstruct, reconstruct and thoroughly understand a horoscope with one or more yods.

1. We look for the chart shape of Neville’s horoscope. It is a bucket or funnel shape. There is one planet isolated from the others, which is on one side of the horoscope wheel all by itself. The late Marc Edmund Jones called it a “bucket” chart because that’s what it looked like to him. The one isolated planet looked like the handle of a bucket, with the name “funnel chart’ one planet on one side of the chart behaves like the spout on a funnel, channeling most of the “energy” of the horoscope. This planet will tell you the central theme of the horoscope and of the person. The one planet (Jones called it a “singleton”) is usually the most important planet and the key to the interpretation. This planet in Neville’s chart is Mars at 11 degrees 47 minutes and it is placed in his 12th house in Virgo. Neville is studying to be what we call in Australia an ambulance officer, but in America I think the name is EMT. EMTs are clinicians, trained to respond quickly to emergency situations regarding medical issues, traumatic injuries and accident scenes. Mars in Virgo is a great position for people who work in prisons or hospitals. One thing Neville needs to be aware of is that (a) Mars in 12th House individuals are very influenced by their subconsciousness and can convince others to help them succeed, even if they’re pretty secretive about what they want. (b) They should be open about their anger because suppressing it can be something really dangerous for them. (c) Neville has trouble being assertive, so anger-management classes or therapy around issues of anger are necessary. (d) Neville tends to suppress his emotions so he needs help with expressing his emotions in a calm fashion or he will limit his energy.

SECOND, LOOK AT THE ELEMENTS AND QUALITIES.

2. Neville has three air (Gemini Sun at 27 degrees Gemini in the 9th house plus a Libra ascendant at 2 degrees libra), three earth including the funnel planet, three water including Pisces Moon at 13 degrees Pisces in the 6th house and one fire (Jupiter in Sagittarius at 8 degrees in the 3rd house).

He has one fixed planet (Pluto in Scorpio at 28 degrees Scorpio hovering on the 2nd 3rd house cusp), and nine mutable planets which is extreme and only the Libra Ascendant is cardinal. It is obvious that this lack of balance echoes the limited energy of the Mars in the 12th house. I recommend that Neville learns yoga or chi gong to balance this imbalance as he only has one fire planet in his chart and his Mars in a debilitated house placement. With a lack of Cardinal Quality planets Neville can easily enjoy observing and simply “being” without necessarily “doing,” but with no planets in a cardinal sign, he may feel driven to prove themselves through activity, a dangerous or high energy career or may substitute an emotionally intense inner life for active involvement in external challenges.

THIRD, ANALYSE THE ASCENDANT.
3. We observe the Ascendant and see whether any planets or asteroids or trans-Neptunian planets conjunct it.

Yes, there is a Trans-Neptunian planet conjuncting his Ascendant. Zeus conjunct Libra Ascendant. Note this is only a Trans-Neptunian planet which is of small stature compared to the rank or strength of the planets or even the six largest asteroids. However, Zeus’s presence indicates that Neville has confidence in his own destiny and a belief in the essential goodness of life. This belief can be a powerful healing force on both physical and psychological levels. Zeus on his descendant is significant in its symbolism for leadership, achievement and positive goals of all types. In Greek mythology, Zeus built power through alliances and momentum and he knew how to treat people and because of that he easily maintained his power. He was a true leader and a bringer of order, justice and civilization. Zeus gives virility and fertility so his offspring may produce local ruling families.

FOURTH 4. DOES NEVILLE HAVE ANY T-SQUARES OR GRAND TRINES OR GRAND SQUARES

I have observed that Neville has two mutable T squares.
1. His debilitated Mars in his 12th house (I suggest he relocates geographically) is the apex of a mutable T square. (a) Mars squares his Mercury 9 degrees 50 minutes conjunct Venus 9 degrees 53 minutes in Gemini in his 9th house and (b) Mars also squares his Jupiter in Sagittarius in his 3rd house. Jupiter is intercepted. With (a) Mercury square Neville’s natal Mars he will be curious, combative, opinionated, intelligent, faultfinding, sharp-tongued and have an active, energetic mind. However, this excessive outflow of mental energy can lead to physical fatigue and a possibility of headaches and nervous disorders, including breakdowns. His Venus square Mars suggests aggression and assertion in love with lots of sparing. Neville is intensely warmhearted and affectionate, but he can create wars with those he loves which is hard on Libran, Neptunian and Piscean types. Neville’s Mars square Jupiter in your horoscope will give him heaps of energy and enthusiasm, that needs restraint. He can be haughty, boastful, enthusiastic, courageous and strong, but Neville can help him move mountains if he believes he can.

2. His second T square integrates his Gemini Sun with his two yods. His Saturn in Pisces in his 6th house opposes his Chiron in the 12th house in Virgo. Both his Saturn and Chiron square Neville’s Sun. Thus, we see the possibility of his Sun being disempowered in his yod and this second T Square. In archetypal astrology the Sun is the king of your kingdom and your Mars is the leader of the King’s armies. Saturn is the old wise man, but not an insane dragon (which is prat of the “hero’s journey that Joseph Campbell speaks about.) But while the Sun and Saturn are easy Chiron is a different matter. Astrologers cannot attempt to comprehend either of these planets without considering the meaning of the other one. Chiron at 20 degrees Virgo and the Sun may not be in actual geometric aspect in every person’s horoscope they are still located as archetypes in every chart, and they create an active energy within the personality. As we see Neville’s Sun and Chiron in an opposition on the 6th house-12th house axis and Pisces-Virgo axis this energy may become the focus of Neville’s hero’s journey. Saturn (24 degrees Pisces) and Jupiter, Mars, Venus, Mercury, the Moon ( 13 degrees Pisces )and the Sun serve the development of the individual ego and the ego is best symbolized by the Sun itself. I have pointed out previously that Mars serves the Sun as the center of individuality and so do the other inner planets serve the Sun. However, Chiron is at the crossing place of Saturn and the outer planets, and he arbitrates collective issues which invade and hurt the person. Chiron archaeologically, anthropologically, sociologically, archetypically and spiritually symbolizes something collectively “unhealable”, because the wound exists in the collective and is ancestral. While the Sun reflects each individual’s sense of purpose and meaning in life, as well as the will to live and to become oneself. We can see how very different Chiron and the Sun are. Chiron is very tribal, part of the ancient Indigenous world where individuality was more akin to the worker bees and the Sun is totally modern, an individual. But each of these planets needs the other; but if the equilibrium tips too far to one or the other, certain psychological difficulties may ensue. One of them when Chiron and the outer planets dominate a chart or dominate the Sun, like in Neville’s chart is the loss of self-empowerment. This may not always result in self-destruction. It may just result in a weak solar plexus. I am not suggesting this of Neville, but in a damaged person with a psychosis this may be expressed as the urge to destroy others, as though, on some deep and inaccessible level, the projection of hopelessness and victimization onto another gives the suffering individual the illusion that he or she is strong and in control of life. The individual who finds not joy in life and is swamped, smothered or disempowered by another may, secretly, or unconsciously try to deprive others of joy by finding a scapegoat who can be burdened with all the despair that is felt within. As Neville’s mother was an adopted child and her Uranus and Trans-Pluto inhabit her 4th house she obviously has an attachment disorder.

ATTACHEMNT DISORDERS AND HOW TO UNDERSTAND PEOPLE WHO HAVE THEM.

I am writing this section so Neville understands why his mother could be acting the way she is. What are attachment disorders?

In another article, I discuss how an avoidant attachment pattern develops when parents are cold, emotionally unavailable and distant, and children then try to shut down their awareness of their primary needs.

INSECURE ATTACHMENT. Many parents and/or caregivers are inconsistently attuned to their children. Attachment researchers describe the behavior of these adults, noting how at times they are nurturing, attuned and respond effectively to their child’s distress, while at other times they are intrusive, insensitive or emotionally unavailable. When parents oscillate between these two very different responses, their children become confused and insecure, not knowing what kind of treatment to expect. These children often feel distrustful or suspicious of their parent, but they act clingy and desperate. They learn that the best way to get their needs met is to cling to their attachment figure. These children have an ambivalent/anxious attachment with their unpredictable parent.

ANXIOUS ATTACHMENT

What behaviors are associated with an anxious attachment pattern?
Children with an ambivalent/anxious attachment pattern tend to cling to their attachment figures and often act desperate for their attention. Psychologist Mary Ainsworth, who assessed children’s attachment patterns at 12 to 18 months, noted that when the children with anxious attachment were reunited with their mothers, they were confused, dazed or agitated; staring off into space and avoiding direct eye contact with her. Yet, these children usually clung to the mother. They remained intensely focused on their mother, but did not seem to be satisfied or comforted. The narrow focus and limited responses of these children prevented any further play or exploratory behavior. A number of factors may contribute to the formation of an anxious attachment pattern between a parent and child. The main factor in a child developing an ambivalent or anxious attachment pattern is inconsistent attunement in the relationship with their primary caregiver. Studies have shown that the quality of the relationship between the parents plays a central role in the transmission of specific attachment patterns from one generation to the next. Therefore, a child imitates the ambivalent/anxious attachment strategies of their parent. In addition, research has also found that parents’ child-rearing practices tend to reflect the specific attachment pattern they developed as children with their parents. Thus, parents who grew up with an anxious attachment are inconsistent in how they relate to their children, which their children react to by forming their own anxious attachment patterns.

Many of these parents and caregivers, due to the unreliable and inconsistent parenting they received, experience powerful feelings of emotional hunger toward their child. They act in ways that are insensitive and intrusive when they confuse emotional hunger with genuine love for their child. In Compassionate Child-Rearing, Robert Firestone describes how parents mistake their feelings of longing and the desire to get love from their child for actual love and concern for the child’s wellbeing. These parents can be over-protective, or try to live vicariously through their child, or be focused on their child’s appearance and performance. They often overstep the personal boundaries of their children by touching them excessively and by invading their privacy. It seems that Neville’s mother had an anxious attachment to her original caregiver. She may have had a few adoptive parents before a permanent parent is found. Acceptance is one of Chiron’s gifts, and it is different from self-pitying resignation or walking away.

THE LAST DELINEATION OF CONSEQUENCE BEFORE WE ANALYSE NEVILLE’S YODS

In Evolutionary Astrology Jeffrey Wolf Green puts a great emphasis on what he calls “skipped steps” which are planets, asteroids or placements that square the nodal axis. He insists that they are past lives where we did a particularly bad job in a past life. In fact, we mucked up badly and we are here again, on Earth for a repeat session to redo our botched mission. So, Neville has two skipped steps. His North Node is 4 degrees in the second house and his south node is 4 degrees of Taurus in his 8th house. Therefore, one of his missions is to build self-confidence and to let go of emotional baggage or people that hinder him from seeing new possibilities. This again points to redefining his relationship with his mother.

Hygeia at 6 degrees of Aquarius in his fifth house is square to his nodal axis. The fifth house is where Hygiea is really at home. It is a house of joy and love and radiant spontaneous self-expression. When Hygeia is situated here, we look at the wholeness, health and wellbeing of the love we are capable of. But this is a square and a challenge to our soul’s path on earth. So here we have a challenge to our well-being and sound health. A square creates tension between the planets and points involved. Tension is necessary in order to stimulate action, but too much tension translates into stress. The planets involved in a square are acting at cross purposes. With squares, we may overdo and run into countless obstacles before we “get it right”. Squares actually force us out of complacency and make us get on with life. While squares are difficult when we are immature, they force us to evolve and learn our lessons. So, Hygeia in Aquarius seeks well-being by being altruistic, humane and tolerant in areas of love, so again I suggest imposing boundaries. Time boundaries. How much time can you cope with when you are with your Mum? Maybe also subject boundaries too? Maybe suggest vetoing subjects that include paranoia and negativity such as dire plots against Neville’s mother.

NOW TO ANALYSE NEVILLE’S YODS.

Neville actually has two yods. Each yod actually echo one another in a dominating, smother-mother archetype. In the first yod Trans-Pluto conjuncts Ceres in Leo in the 11th house. This conjunction also sextiles the Gemini Sun in the 9th house. In the second yod Neville’s yod apex is his Sun, which is in his 9th house in Gemini. It is 5 degrees away from his Cancer MC. His Sun quincunxes his Uranus which is down in his 4th house retrograde at 29 degrees Capricorn. Its conjuncts Neptune at 24 degrees which is also retrograde. Neptune is not part of the yod. Neville ‘s 9th house speaks of a need for avid learning and thirst for knowledge, but it also speaks of his “perceived ethical position” regarding his mother. His mother is the 4th house and she has paranoia (Pluto) and emotional repression (Neptune in the 4th which creates anxiety (Uranus) for Neville.)

THE CERES-TRANSPLUTO -SUN-URANUS-NEPTUNE YOD

THE ORIGINAL CERES TRIBAL MYTH

Ceres is Demeter, the great mother, whose daughter Persephone was taken when she entered puberty by Pluto the god of the underworld (Demeter’s brother). In the ancient Indigenous world (which still exists in tribal aboriginal Australia) young people are taken from their mother by their mother’s brothers, to be initiated usually when they begin going though puberty. The initiation process may take at least two years and involves learning survival information, lessons of life, sacred information, their particular role in the tribe and information which they had been learning all their life about the seasons and food. The knowledge also concerns the young initiate’s role in looking after their totems (or Dreamings as they are known as in the tribal Aboriginal world) and general welfare of the land, waters and skies. Totems are not just animals, birds, insects, fish etc, but plants, land formations and weather effects (eg, thunder, hail, rain, rainbows etc.) The initiates also learn not just sacred dance, music and stories (myths), but also non- sacred and where the energy of the land lies. The major role of the new initiate is of a helpful member or worker bee of the tribe as a carer for not just the tribe and the land, but also all beings on the planet, solar system and galaxy. One can see that the only role for the mother is of a carer for their child until they are about 14 years old and then eventually as a grandmother. Thus, the myth of Ceres/Demeter/Pluto or Moon-Trans Pluto is an ancient myth which celebrates an actual rite of passage and a complete separation from the mother. This rite of passage happened in Paleolithic (Old Stone Age) and Neolithic (New Stone Age) times. The Paleolithic coincides almost exactly with the Pleistocene epoch of geologic time, which lasted from 2.6 million years ago to about 12,000 years ago. The division lasted until the transitional period of the Chalcolithic from about 6,500 years ago (4500 BC), marked by the development of metallurgy, leading up to the Bronze Age and Iron Age. In Northern Europe, the Neolithic lasted until about 1700 BC, while in China it extended until 1200 BC. For those who study anthropology in Indigenous tribes (like myself in my PhD) this is very obvious in the Ceres/Pluto myth.

In the Indigenous world the young person (son or daughter) must never speak to his mother or mother-in-law again. In other words, Neville is caught up archetypally in this ancient, but still surviving myth. If you care to read some socio-anthropological research on the totemic origins of the Greek myths on Crete read “Themis: A Study of the Social Origins of Greek Religion” by Jane Ellen Harrison.

I bought this book years after I completed my PhD and realized that Themis represents the old Australian Aboriginal wise men-the Elders who impart “the Law” to the young initiates. My grandfather, who bought me up in the outback of Australia was taught by the wise old Australian Aboriginal Elders from when he was nine to fourteen.

NEVILLE’S TRANSPLUTO CONJUNCTION CERES

Here Neville is most likely to be (a) a sentinel in parental relationships, (b) the epitome of survival and adaption of our species, (c) a productive worker, or (d) an emergency health worker.

Hence, the Ceres conjunct Trans Pluto in Leo suggests a separation from one’s mother to become a joyful, self-sufficient person who can embark on one’s life journey regardless of what others say or think.

Here Neville needs to read and understand Dr Jeffrey Young’s “Subjugation Lifetrap” (pp. 258-293) which is “the giving in to others schema” or personality disorder model and “The Unrelenting Standards Lifetrap” (pp. 294-313) which is the perfectionism model which drives us to impossible standards. This “unrelenting standards” of perfectionism is also found in the Sun quincunx Pluto aspect and if tied into a yod with Mars it will cause health problems which can cause PTSD, adrenal stress or “burnout”. With Ceres-Trans Pluto digestive problems could occur and as I see that Neville has a mutable grand square which includes Moon opposite Mars square Jupiter and square Mercury -Venus digestive problems are a sure thing and with Chiron and Mars in Virgo psychotherapy is a must. Schema Therapy which is based on Ellis’s cognitive-behavioral therapy is wonderful.

NEVILLE’S NEPTUNE-URANUS IN HIS 4TH HOUSE & SUN QUINCUNX PLUTO

Neville explained his situation and it feels as though we cannot separate his Neptune in the 4th house from his Uranus. He says his mother is a codependent parent and that is Neptunian. He continued that he was made responsible for her emotional well- being for as long as he could remember. Consequently, what we have here is a codependent parent (mother) who creates extreme anxiety in her only child and pushes him away. If you understand both insecure attachment theory and Trans-Pluto as an archetype this is the “pulling toward you- pushing away Mother” in fact I also hear Borderline Personality Disorder minus the suicide threats. BPD do the same thing. They can be very, very nasty but if the recipient of the nastiness tries to go then there will be dire threats of inability to cope. And BPD is a very serious psychosis as it is resistant to medication and only can be overcome through many years of counselling and a woman like Neville’s mother would not go to counselling because of her paranoia. I have analyzed her chart. We have a 2nd yod here with Neville’s Trans-Pluto conjuncts Ceres in Leo in the 11th house and quincunxes Uranus conjunct Neptune in his 4th house in Capricorn which of course indicates his obsessive, smothering mother (Ceres conjunct Trans Pluto who is both mother and father) constantly causing anxiety and confusion (Uranus conjunct Neptune) for Neville.

Neville’s Sun apex also quincunxes his Pluto in Scorpio in his 2nd house. Seeing it is in a water sign we have an issue of emotional blackmail from his Mum. She is Pluto in Scorpio, paranoid, obsessive, blackmailing, wailing about impending death. So, the whole issue is about anxiety, adrenal stress and possible Post Traumatic Stress (Uranus) from having to content with such an emotionally demanding, confusing and mentally ill mother (Neptune). I have seen two almost identical situations where, because the child did not remove themselves from the mother, the mother destroyed the child.

When you read what Neville has said below his Mother’s behaviours are sucking his Sun dry. With his Moon in Pisces and Saturn in Pisces we see a very wide conjunction between them both and his Saturn opposes his Chiron which can produce great bitterness over time and extreme sensitivity. And we can hear this Moon -Saturn opposition Chiron in his conversation with me below. With his Moon and Saturn both in his 6th house he will also develop digestive problems if he does not stop his destructive relationship with his mother as Saturn rules his Capricorn and both Uranus and Nep in his yod are in Capricorn.

Neville told me, “ I’ve only recently started getting to a point where I’m so tired of feeling resentful about my childhood and want to have a better relationship with her and help her, even though, she is quite paranoid and immensely stubborn and takes anything I say as an attack or judging her for not acting on anything she needs to do. I do try to be delicate and loving towards her, but I also know I’ve been much more distant with her since I’ve been in college. I am not the best at being compassionate while still feeling hurt and angry. I just end up feeling like I’m repressing my anger for the sake of saving her feelings, and then nothing becomes accomplished because I have to walk on eggshells so much with her to prevent her from lashing out. She has been in the same career for longer than I have been alive, but it has also been very unstable due to how her mental health affects her performance. Now the way her career affects her is so dire that she very well may not go back to work at all. Her boss is extremely lenient with her, but they are at their wits’ end now. She does have digestive problems; severe problems with that which flare up in times of anxiety. She’ll become so ill that she can’t leave her home at all. She believes herself to be strong, she is constantly either saying how much she hates herself for letting everything slip away from her, or that everyone is out to get her and she’s being targeted or victimized. So, she can’t be rationalized with. I have a bad habit of becoming deeply personally affected or distraught over loved ones’ issues, especially if I cannot seem to help, and this is no different.”

People with challenging aspects from Sun to Neptune is one of the outer planets, so it is transcendental and can easily overcome a personal planet such as the luminaries; Sun or Moon or Mercury, Venus and Mars. Neptune speaks about Spirit; that part of us that exists outside of physicality, time or space.

CONCLUSION TO THE SUN-PLUTO-NEPTUNE-URANUS YOD
The key theme here is individuality so while Neville tolerates the differences of others, he can lack the discipline to do things his own way. He tends to hide his feelings behind a mild exterior. Neville also needs to avoid escapist tendencies and communicate clearly and with his Sun in Gemini you can bet he doesn’t because of his mother’s dominating personality. He’s not that good at sticking to his decisions and he also accepts unfair obligations which include looking after a smother-mother when he is way past the age of leaving the nest. He is too easily affected by the feelings of others and with his Saturn and Moon in Pisces he will pay for his weak will with health problems unless he toughens up. Anxiety speaks loudly here. And then Sun quincunx Pluto: Neville will tend to obsess over everything in his life and even though he attracts manipulative people fear of the unexpected can create a need for him to worry about the future. He worries too much about what makes people tick especially his Mum. He has to let go of old intentions to survive and self-renew.

CONCLUSION TO THE TRANSPLUTO-CERES-SATURN-URANUS-NEPTUNE YOD.
The other yod is the even more complex yod which has the Trans Pluto-Ceres apex with quincunxes to Neptune-Uranus and to Saturn in Pisces in the 6th house. Ceres is the Earth Mother in you. In your chart, the sign your Ceres is it gives you access to feeling at home and comfortable in your own skin, wealth-building and financial independence and healthy eating and lifestyle choices. In Leo he prides himself on his creativity and confidence, but with two quincunxes to his Ceres and his debilitating need to be perfect (Trans Pluto) I think his self-esteem needs some sharpening up. He gives a lot of mothering out through his friendships. He is a real humanitarian. Now let’s look at his Ceres-Saturn. Again, we see that his parents or parent may make him feel heavily obligated or constrained by demands or an unspoken need to look after his parent. The resolution of this conflict will need strong boundaries and secondly a need to nurture and care for his child within. Eek! More of the same. Ceres quincunx Uranus signifies erratic and unreliable nurturing or attachment and as he was raised in a “broken home” he finds himself in conflict between his own personal freedom and an obligation to be close to his mother. Neville must learn to trust his own thoughts and intuition and stick to it. The resolution will lie in what percentage of time and energy he is prepared to give to his mother versus the time he allots to his own needs. With Neptune quincunxing his Ceres unrealistic perceptions and the emotional neediness of his mother (4th house Neptune and Uranus) may predispose him to being a victim along with his Pisces Moon. If his mother extracts Neville’s energy through her mental instability again, he needs to put his foot down to stress her need for psycho-therapy and her tendency to be an emotional blackmailer. My daughter is a very efficient business women. She allots me two hours when I see her once every six weeks. I suggest Neville does the same thing and I also suggest he re-reads the passage I wrote about young tribal men leaving their mother’s nest.

WHAT NEVILLE NEEDS TO LEARN

Neville needs to learn about the “dark” and “light” inside him.  The 12th house in anyone’s chart (their subconscious) reveals their  inner strengths and weaknesses and these are your “Light” and “Dark”. Planets in Pisces have a similar archetype to the 12th house and so does a challenging Neptune. Neville’s Mars and Chiron are lurking in his 12th house. His Moon and Saturn, in Piscces, sit karmically, ancestrally waiting for him to evolve. Neville’s Neptune is a major player in both his yods and it sits ruminating and fulminating in Neville’s 4th house of family and roots. Why do I talk about finding the light in Neville’s 12th house? Well, his glimpses and flashes of light are found in his places of restorative solitude and quiet reflection. I find them in shamanic meditations, the two and a half thousand acre forest I go to far from any city.

So what is this darkness that Neville’s must sweep away? The Dark is that secret  and often unknowable place deep inside of you where you sweep under your psychological carpet problems that are too painful to face and difficulties which we refuse to acknowledge. Our problems are where and when our anxiety, fears, humiliation,  guilt, rage,  and vexations  all blooms and grows unhindered. Times when Neville is tired and overwhelmed are when his thoughts and emotions become dark. Places that he feels unsafe and stupid are places where his mentality and feelings are dark. His darkness prevents his confidence thriving at these times and in these places. His darkness stops his willpower, unhinges his solar plexus chakra, weakens his empowerment and his darkness prevents him from grasping opportunities and living life on his terms. His darkness empowers his procrastination and weakness and his darkness helps his  hopelessness, insecurity, unhappiness and dissatisfaction with his true Self. His darkness fouls up any attempt to adjust or evolve and make any  positive changes to his life. Neville’s darkness prevents him from treating himself and others with respect and compassion, from giving and receiving unconditional love, and from revealing his true, innocent and vulnerable Self to the outside world.

If Neville can slow down and give himself the space, time and clarity to let his Light in, this is what will shine through. Hope, innocence, vulnerability, compassion, empathy, kindness, respect, and radical acceptance will shine for Neville. His light will shine when he clears his negative emotions and obsessive thoughts and his light, maybe his guardian angels and power animals, if he practises shamanism, will come forward masquerading as his conscience, to offer support for building self esteem and make  connections with others who hold the Light. These Light beings offer the foundation from which he can live an authentic life on his terms. Neville’s  Light emanates from his crown chakra, encouraging compassion, vulnerability, authenticity, confidence, and acceptance of his true Self, with all of its imperfections. His Light encourages him to be himself, live his own values (not any else’s, just his) and ask for and accept help, and be non-judgmental of himself and when he’s ready be non-judgemental of others. If he is patient with himself this will happen.

UNACHIEVABLE LOVE: HYGEIA QUINCUNX ERIS & TIFFANY TRUMP

Tiffany Trump was not bought up by her famous father. In fact, she barely knows him. She has a yod where Eris is the pyramid apex and her Virgoan Hygeia in her ninth house of ethics and higher thought and Scorpionic Mercury in her 11th house of hopes, dreams and wishes sit at the base. Her Eris in Aries sits in her 4th house conjuncting her IC announcing her roots. This is the house, the house of family where she must overcome crises through compassion and heartfelt understanding; where one must strive to evolve the hardest; where you can no longer be in denial and this house, the house of one’s Eris where you apply all of your inventiveness, originality and creativity , but it is where one has a wide-ranging sense of being rejected, attacked and disparaged or deserted, neglected and discarded. Bessel van der Kolk, MD of the National Institute for the Application of Behavioral Medicine states:
Being abandoned hurts. In the moment, it can feel like you can’t breathe and that life is about to end. And then comes the painful sensations that ripple through the body and fill you with paralyzing panic. When this happens to someone, they can become fearful of ever experiencing abandonment again.

And yet Ron Siegel, PsyD and Pat Ogden, PhD of NICABM practice ways to change fearful behavior that sets a client up for further abandonment. They use two specific ways a client’s fear of abandonment can become a self-fulfilling prophecy to reframe a client’s neediness to make it an ally in their healing, two practical ways to help clients shore up their personal boundaries and a three -step strategy to expand a client’s tolerance of rejection to reduce the stigma and humiliation of abandonment. They use these strategies to help clients engage their fear of abandonment without getting overwhelmed. They adjust their treatment of abandonment when the client dissociates (which are typical of yods and quincunxes) and they use compassionate strategies to help clients break paralyzing fears of abandonment. And fears of any kind are so typical of people with yods.

Tiffany’s parents separated when she was three so as she told DuJour magazine, “I don’t know what it’s like to have a typical father figure,” she told DuJour magazine. “He’s not the dad who’s going to take me to the beach and go swimming, but he’s such a motivational person.” No amount of rationalizing, wishing or dreaming (Mercury quincunx Eris), can make Donald Trump treat Tiffany like Ivanka. His abandonment (Eris) does not fill Tiffany with well-being (Hygeia). We can see the compartmentalizing (yod) of the forgotten Trump, a beautiful young lady eager for the attention and approval of a father she really does not know, but she sits there between a rock and a hard place. One hopes she has seen a helpful psychotherapist.

LINDY CHAMBERLAIN: FALSELY ACCUSED OF HAVING KILLED HER BABY

“Lindy” Chamberlain-Creighton is a New Zealand-born woman who was wrongfully convicted in one of Australia’s most publicized murder trials. Accused of killing her nine-week-old daughter, Azaria, while camping at Uluru (known as Ayers Rock) in 1980, she told police that she saw a dingo leave the tent where Azaria was sleeping. She was convicted on 29 October 1982, and her appeals to the Federal Court of Australia, and High Court of Australia, were dismissed. On 7 February 1986, after the discovery of new evidence, Chamberlain was freed from prison. She and her husband Michael Chamberlain, co-accused, were officially pardoned in 1987, and their convictions were nullified by the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory in 1988. In 1992, the Australian government paid Chamberlain $1.3 million in compensation.

Lindy Chamberlain-Creighton and her ex-husband continued to push for a resolution to the investigation into the death of Azaria as being caused by one or more dingoes without human interference and a new inquest was instigated in February 2012 and new figures on dingo attacks on Fraser Island were collated by the Queensland Government’s Department of Environment and Resource Management and provided as evidence at the Azaria Chamberlain inquest. Coroner Elizabeth Morris said that the new evidence in relation to dingo attacks on infants and young children had helped convince her to reopen the investigation. After 32 years of intense media interest and public slander and unjust gossip, the Chamberlains stated they remained unsatisfied with bare acquittal and presumed innocence, and were keen to finally, and definitively, determine how their daughter died. On 12 June 2012, an Australian coroner made a final ruling that a dingo dog took baby Azaria Chamberlain from a campsite in 1980 and caused her death. Coroner Elizabeth Morris apologized to the Chamberlain family while an amended death certificate was immediately made available to them.

Lindy seems to have a splash chart which means her planets are all over the place. She is a balanced person. However, on closer inspection she has six fire planets. She has three air, one water planet (her Sun in Pisces) and no earth.

Because I have been researching Astraea Lindy’s placement of 10 degrees Astraea conjunct Sun 13 degrees Pisces jumped out at me. Lindy’s Sun conjunct Astraea obviously signals a justice-fairness-innocence issue and the fact that her Sun quincunxes her Neptune and Pluto indicates confusion, fantasies about the Seventh Day Adventist religion that Lindy was in and fantasies about her lack of remorse for murdering her baby by the public and deception (Neptune) by the police in not listening to all witnesses in this case and obsession and death (Pluto), but it may well indicate a past life matter that is still part of her aura. She lost thirty -two years of her life fighting for justice.

CONCLUSION

The major reason I wrote this article was to teach the many people I hear from how to deconstruct and reconstruct a psychological-astrological case study of a person with one or more yods. We cannot possibly delineate or analyze a yod unless we look psychologically at a person’s back ground as a whole and as Neville has quite a strong Hygeia (the goddess of sound or wholesome health) and a strong Trans Pluto which is also an indicator of wholeness, a holistic analysis is important to Neville. In fact, a holistic analysis is vital in any chart. (Neville’s Hygeia is trine Venus and Venus rules Neville’s ascendant in Libra. Hygeia is in Aquarius which is ruled by Uranus which is in both his yods. Trans Pluto is in one of his yods.) Rather than just health and finances which are major parts of yods and quincunxes I concentrated on the psychological and socio-anthropological aspects of his persona rather than his health although I did add the occasional note on health repercussions if he continued on his current psychological path with his mother. On concentrated on his psychological side because Neville is at his wit’s end with his Mum. Neville, I do suggest you borrow from a library, “The Self Under Siege” by Dr Robert Firestone.

I apologize Pola for not including your quincunxes in this “yod article” and to my followers I also apologize for not including Roger Federer’s chart with his yods and Novak Djokovic’s horoscope with his yod. I will start the three charts tomorrow. I have not had a great ten days. I’m glad it’s August and hope this will be a better month.

I thankyou all for your wonderful support which I appreciate so much. I note today and yesterday I had nearly 200 people reading my articles and blogs. I saw that around 100 people each day read my major Hygeia article. I am so pleased as in two to three months I will be at the editing stage of my Hygeia book and then next year I will publish. As my Hygeia book is a first, I am so excited to be carving a niche in the market. If you have a strong Hygeia-Midheaven, Hygeia-Ascendant, Hygeia-Juno, Hygeia-Astraea aspect, a Hygeia-Trans Pluto aspect, a Hygeia-Eris aspect (just conjunctions, sextiles, squares, oppositions, trine, and quincunxes please) please message me here as I am struggling to find people as an old teacher I have always worked to help people understand new concepts. I have not used Black Moon Lilith in my book as she is like speaking Martian or hieroglyphics to me. In the vernacular I do not have a handle on the Black Moon, so if you have Hygeia conjunction, sextile, square, trine, opposition or quincunx to the Black Moon can you please send me a message as I have tried to make the Hygeia book totally comprehensive as Hygeia is an important archetype in anyone’s horoscope.

On that perplexing note of the Black Moon I will say, “Toodloo” and again thank you for reading my work.

I wish you all warm wishes and bright blessings for now and forever,
Hilary.
