Recently after going back and looking at the charts of some people I had worked with shamanically to clear blockages from their lives I discovered that many of them had stelliums. All these stelliums involved Chiron, Neptune, Pluto, the fifth asteroid Hygeia  or Uranus as well as watery houses or watery signs. The water signs and houses involved deep, emotional memories and past life issues ; Chiron and Neptune involved deep and unresolved grief, Uranus often involved time warps created by severe shock or trauma, Hygeia could be health problems and Pluto was unresolved karma.

In ordinary people, who did not have these great knots of highly charged energy, past lives do not seem to have the electrical and emotional charge that stelliums have. Stelliums have the energy of Mars and Aries: fiery energy and if five or six or more planets are in one stellium there is little else but the fire element. After being a part of a horrendous and gigantic bushfire last year [January, 2014] that destroyed thousands and thousands of acres I was, being my true professional researcher self, led to investigate what raging fire does to the land, people, machinery and all around it. Fires destroy and leave an aftermath of confusion in people’s lives in the short term, but after listened to what giant wise trees told me about fires I learned that they cleanse and “nature” is glad to cleanse the old, negative, static  and often toxic elements. So there is a Plutonic or Scorpionic elements in stelliums as well and as I belong to the Saturn in Scorpio generation this sure adds to my fascination of stelliums especially, stelliums with yods.

What I have found is that we have interim periods between our lives where we make a decision as to how much energy we will take into our next life and what sort of life and body our next life will have. In Michael Newton’s books on the “Destiny of Souls; “The Journey of Souls” and “ Memories of the Afterlife” he has collected thousands of cases through hypnotherapy. In these he collected many cases of highly evolved souls who chose very difficult lives, in some cases short or horrendous.

I often wondered about Stephen Hawkins and wondered why such an evolved person had such dreadful health issues. I found that he has two stelliums. One has Hygeia in it at the midpoint of Saturn and Uranus: two planets I have found to be Time Lords. Franklin D Roosevelt had a large stellium with Saturn, Vesta, Neptune, Jupiter, Chiron and Pluto in Taurus in his 8th house of past lives.

People with stelliums tend to be pioneers and leaders because of their magnetic and charismatic qualities, but stelliums are more than that. People with stelliums can be gurus and news makers, whether the news they make is truly horrendous like or absolutely fantastic like Paul McCartney, Sigmund Freud, Dolly Parton, Theilard de Chardin and Ben Gurion . Positive stellium people, who have their act together make a difference in their world. They create a new fashion or signify a new cycle in history or create a new philosophy. They are creators.

But what makes a difference about stellium people is the house that their stellium falls into. So let’s take a look at each house, because my case study for this article is with a man whose stellium spans the twelfth and first house.

The first house is just like your front door if you are a house and in dreams you often are a house. When people see you,  when you open your front door they are essentially looking at your first house. Our ascendant or rising sign opens our first house. Planets which are closest to the ascendant are more powerful than those which are further into the first house. According to the French statistician-astrologer planets in the twelfth house which are only a few degrees away from the first house should be considered to be in the first house.

Signs and planets in the first house influence the manner in which we relate with our domain. The planets and signs of the first house affect our way of looking at the world and the way the world perceives us. The way we see ourselves is motivated by the planets and signs in the first house. Whether we interpret the world through feelings, reasoning or intuition is determined by the first house. So a person with a Pisces ascendant and Neptune in the first house sees the world  via feelings and subjectivity, whereas a Capricornian-Saturnian will approach the world with a business-like common sense way of behaving.

The first house also illustrates how we envisage the world we deal with and how we consider the world we perceive. Thus this house is subjective or objective according to the planets and signs in it. The first house also reveals your attitudes to life, the way you look and the way you hold yourself, the beginnings of all the things you do, including, your career, jobs, writing books; starting a friendship; all of those sorts of things. Are you a model? Do you dress up or down? Is your hair long or short or coloured by dye? O is your hair completely shaved? Are you tall or short? Are you small and slim or overweight? Do you stride or shuffle? Are your glamourous or prim and precise? Are you outrageous or held back and conservative? All of these behaviours are described by your first house. The first house reveals your personality, your natural temperament, your originality and the way you articulate: the way you walk, smile, talk, and wave your hands or not. In a way the first house is the way you like to package yourself and the way you like others to see you. Importantly the first house reveals your physical body, your health and early childhood years. If you were an isolated child it stands to reason that you may attract circumstances that will isolate you again as those experiences are in your cells and unless you have some therapy to unlock the unconscious childhood experiences in your cells they will lurk there like a ghost and jump out and say, “Boo!” when stressful transits occur, especially the challenging Pluto and Uranus ones.

In this section on first house stelliums I would like to use some of what my friend Danny, who we met in the last stellium article, has told me.

I analysed Danny’s 12th house in my article on Stelliums: Part B. He has a large stellium which spans from his eleventh house into his first house. He has a zero degree Scorpio ascendant and Jupiter conjunct Mars both conjunct his ascendant, so one can feel a great vitality. I felt here that it would be a good idea to have a look at some past lives that influenced his present life and lives that perhaps needed healing as Danny’s childhood was quite violent. His ex- armed forces father physically abused him and Danny admitted he carried a great deal of anger for many years until one night when he accidentally knocked his father down when he was ten.

Danny told me, “ That experience troubled me deeply, and I remember thinking, “If I can do that to a grown man at the age of ten, what damage might I do to someone of my own age and size?” From that moment, I vowed never to lash out in anger again and I haven’t. Sadly, though, one or two school bullies went-on to discover I wouldn’t fight back, and they took full advantage, making my life even more of a misery than it already was.” At that time his stellium changed sign from Libra to Scorpio right on his Ascendant. Both transiting Pluto and Jupiter sextiled his ascendant; transiting Neptune conjuncted his Ascendant; transiting Uranus squared his Ascendant and transiting Chiron squared his ascendant. With Chiron squaring and Neptune conjuncting his Mercury and Ascendant around this time he would have stored grief .

In her article, “The Nature of Grief and Astrological Cycles” Lyn Hayes states that :
“The soul does not pursue pleasure and avoid pain; instead, there is an embrace of experiences that will assist us at the deepest level to completely learn the lessons that are presented to us so that we can release the past and move forward with greater wisdom. [Was David releasing past life pain? As a child with Sun conjunct Neptune and Sun, Chiron and Mercury all in his twelfth house he probably was. ] Chiron facilitates this aspect of soul work … and Neptune assists by reminding us that there is a world of experience that lies beyond the boundaries of the material world.” So at the tender age of ten Danny was learning the Ghandi –like lessons that might is not right and turning the other cheek is right rather than violence.

All these planets would have made the same aspects to his natal Mercury just a few days before and then to Danny’s natal Jupiter. Not only did Danny begin to grow physically now he also made decisions based on what he should do often are less appealing than those based on what was pleasing and fun (transiting Neptune on his Jupiter.)

The reason why I have included past lives is because Saturn conjunct Pluto in Leo which conjuncts his MC both square his Mars and sextile his Neptune-Sun. The Saturn-Pluto publically states, “Danny you have past lives which karmically affect your present life.”

The actual stellium begins as 8 degrees Libra in the 11th house. The cusp of the 12th is 10 degrees Libra. Neptune conjuncts his Sun at 13 degrees, then 25 degrees Chiron, then Mercury at 29 Libra. Danny’s Ascendant is zero Scorpio with Jupiter at 2 degrees and Mars is 8 degrees Scorpio. Juno sits at 10 degrees Scorpio and Venus at 25 degrees Scorpio. Even though technically Venus is not part of Danny’s stellium it is in his first house. It is a massive stellium beginning with Neptune conjunct Sun which shows an emotionally distant father, but also his first house [childhood legacy] shows his father (Mars) as having towering (Jupiter) rage (Mars in Scorpio.) Danny, himself is six feet five inches in height which is also revealed by Jupiter. Chiron at 25 Libra, Mercury 29, Ascendant zero Scorpio and Jupiter 2 Scorpio are very close showing a very frightened little boy who was not allowed to speak of his fear. As Libra is ruled by Venus and his mother is Venus and Moon we see his mother (Venus 25 Scorpio squaring Moon 28 Aquarius in the 4th) also physically hurting him, showing no sympathy and being emotionally volatile; blowing hot and cold.

When I contacted his spirit with the intention of finding out about past lives that were related to his present life I asked for three past lives. The first life was six hundred years ago. When this very tall male first began talking to me he said something like, “Aitch-i-kar.”

I answered, “I cannot understand you. Who are you?”

He told me, “I am a warrior and dancer. I love my life. ” When I asked him where he came from he answered, “South.”

I sensed he was in Africa and I asked, “Are you South African?”

He answered, “No, I am Maasai.”

This time corresponds to roughly 17 degrees of Scorpio which is at the end of Danny’s first house stellium, at the midpoint between his Mars and Venus which is an indication of a warm and passionate person . Danny admitted that, “As long as I can remember, I’ve had a fascination for the grace, the colour and the stature of the Massai people. They seem such a proud people.”

The Maasai are pastoralists, and are famous for their fearsome reputations as warriors and cattle-rustlers. The Maasai inhabit the African Great Lakes region and speak a Nilo-Saharan language. They came to Southeast Africa by way of South Sudan. According to their own oral history, the Maasai originated from the lower Nile valley north of Lake Turkana (Northwest Kenya) and began migrating south around the 15th century, arriving in a long trunk of land stretching from what is now northern Kenya to what is now central Tanzania between the 17th and late 18th century. Maasai society is strongly patriarchal in nature, with elder men, sometimes joined by retired elders, deciding most major matters for each Maasai group. A full body of oral law covers many aspects of behaviour. The central human figure in the Maasai religious system is the laibon whose roles include shamanistic healing, divination and prophecy, and ensuring success in war or adequate rainfall. Eunoto, the coming of age ceremony of the warrior, can involve ten or more days of singing, dancing and ritual. The warriors of the Il-Oodokilani perform a kind of march-past as well as the adumu, or aigus, sometimes referred as “the jumping dance” by non-Maasai. Warriors are well known for, and often photographed during, this competitive jumping.

I asked who Danny was in the second past life I saw. He told me, “I am a Spanish naval seaman fighting against the English in the time of Eliz II on the Spanish Main. I am in charge of canons.” I could see furious warfare with cannon balls destroying ships. He continued, “I am killed in warfare against the English. I was killed by cannon fire. It was thrown overboard to the sharks near Panama. The Spanish –English war was from 1585 to 1604. This life corresponds to Danny’s south node in Sagittarius. Both the famous English captains Sir Francis Drake and Hawkins died of disease during the disastrous 1595–96 expedition against Puerto Rico, Panama, and other targets in the Spanish Main, a severe setback in which the English suffered heavy losses in soldiers and ships. In the days of the Spanish New World the mainland of the North and South American continents enclosing the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico was referred to as the Spanish Main. . In particular, the term is most strongly associated with that stretch of the Caribbean coastline that runs from the ports of Porto Bello on the Isthmus of Darien in Panama, through Cartagena de India’s in New Granada, and Maracaibo to the Orinoco delta on the coast of Venezuela. From the 16th to the early 19th century, the Spanish Main was the port for huge wealth that was shipped back to Spain in the form of gold, silver, gems, spices, hardwoods, hides and other riches. Silver was brought to the Spanish Main by llama and mule train from Potosí via the Pacific coast. From there they were shipped to Spain by Spanish galleons. Because of the fabulous riches which were shipped from it, the Spanish Main was ripe territory for pirates and privateers.

Danny told me he hated thunder and pneumatic road drills. No wonder.

Two days later Danny wrote back and told me: I absolutely love watching thunderstorms … from the comparative safety of my bedroom window. I also have couple of recordings that have thunder dubbed onto them … David Gates’ “Clouds Suite” in particular which always brings tears to my eyes, when I hear the thunder blending with the music. Beautiful! Oh! I’ve just remembered something else from my childhood and I think it may relate to the Spanish Main sailor’s life:-

‘I was only about three years old (no more than four), and my parents took me to see a pantomime at the London Palladium. As we approached the foyer I saw a man dressed in a long, bright-coloured coat with gold braiding and a matching peak cap (clearly a commissionaire). Beyond him I saw into the stalls and noticed the rake of the theatre down towards the stage. That was enough for me: I stopped, started to cry and pulled back on my Mum’s hand.”I don’t want to go into the bang,” I cried. “I don’t want to go into the bang!” The commissionaire came to help and spoke to me so very caringly, I immediately felt safe. He then took hold of my hand, reassuring me all the way, and took me to my seat. Without doubt that commissionaire possessed a quality sadly lacking in both my parents, bless him.’

If we visualise a sixteenth century ship, with canons lined up on the water level, we will be able to see that the canons are right down in the bowels of a ship, below the decks [yes, I too have had a past life in a similar situation and am fascinated by pirate ships] and the stairs that Danny saw going down into the stalls of the London Palladium no doubt did remind Danny, with his twelfth house Sun-Neptune-Mercury-Chiron psychic abilities, of the life where he lost his life in extreme violence [the Bang!] when he was blown apart by a  canon in naval warfare. When we die in traumatic circumstances the memory of that trauma always stays with people. In India such karmic, past life scars are known as samscaras and do need to be energetically cleared. Danny has some body tremors in this life and I wonder whether the horrendous vibrations symbolised by his Mars-Jupiter in Scorpio (canons or big guns) in the first house (our body),  have effected his body.

Danny’s third past life that needed some healing was again as a Spanish male. I asked Danny about himself. He said, “I am like a Casanova, gigolo. I dance the Flamenco dance with women for a living. I love to dance. I die young with a knife in my back from a jealous husband.” Flamenco is a form of Spanish folk music and dance from the region of Andalusia in southern Spain. It includes cante (singing), toque (guitar playing), baile (dance) and palmas (handclaps). Historically it was first recorded in 1774, and probably evolved from Andalusian and Romani music and dance styles. As a dance Flamenco is often associated with the gitanos (Romani people of Spain) and a number of famous flamenco artists are of this culture.

Danny told me after I had seen this past life, “As for the Flamenco dancer. Oh my … that incarnation spoke to me big time! I’ve always felt more comfortable in female, rather than male, company. I feel I can communicate with women far better than I can with men. Beer and football terraces have never been part of my life-choices. My life is still full of music though and this, I think, stems – at least in part – from the music, rhythm and dance of that Flamenco incarnation. As mentioned earlier I have an acute sense off rhythm, and this I think led me to pick-up my cousin’s old acoustic guitar in 1960. Within minutes I was playing it! I went-on to play guitar with a couple of moderately successful London-based groups from the mid-1960s to the mid-1970s, and worked with several chart stars along the way. In 1978-9 I defected to the disc jockey camp, and that led directly to my break into radio in 1981. In the meantime … around 1977-8, I began to suffer an intense, stinging pain just to the left side of my spine on the small of my back. I deliberately didn’t report it to my GP because I feared it was something serious. Eventually the pain subsided and, today, on that very spot on my back is a very large mole. I wonder whether that may be connected to the stabbing? I am always deeply moved by the Robert de Niro film “The Mission” and also its music by Ennio Morricone. The film’s Spanish flavour speaks to me deeply and always reduces me to tears. In fact, my eyes have filled with tears just typing this.”

I then witnessed a life where Danny was a Roman soldier who was guarding the apostle Peter, who was Jesus Christ’s major spokesperson after he died When I first looked I knew I was in a prison, but an old prison with clean sandstone floors. King Herod had imprisoned the disciple Simon Peter and he wanted to make sure Peter didn’t escape, so he put Roman guards in the prison to guard him. There were four rotating shifts of four guards each. It would seem there would be no way for Peter to leave the prison. While Peter was asleep in the prison there were chains on each of his wrists, and there was a guard on each side of him and more guards at the doorway. Danny who was one of the apostle Peter’s Roman guards, and he admitted to being very angry with Peter and slapping him. As Peter slept, chained to guards, an angel jabbed Peter in the ribs and said, “Get up, get dressed, and follow me.” The angel led Peter out of the prison .

This was around 44 AD and it corresponds to about 19 degrees Virgo which is the midpoint of Danny’s Saturn in Leo in the 9th house of ethics and Danny’s Jupiter in Scorpio conjunct his Scorpio Ascendant. This would have been an incredible spiritual experience for Danny in this past life.

The day after I saw this Danny replied, “This speaks to me powerfully. For many years, I have felt a strong connection with the Roman military. In fact, in the late 1990s, I was seeing a healer and during one of my sessions with her, I saw in my mind’s eye a vivid image of a Roman centurion leaning over a table studying what looked like a map. In my mind’s ear I heard a voice say, “This was you” and a few minutes later, that same mind’s ear voice said, “You were there at the flowering, and you’re there at the withering”. I took this to mean the flowering of the early Christian Church, and today’s withering of the spirituality of Christianity.

John Sandbach suggests this midpoint is one where, “ This person needs to decide for themselves what it is they need, what is beneficial for them, and what is not. They will not be happy adopting ready-made guidelines for living. They do not readily take in advice or encouragement from others, for they are meant in this lifetime to be self-supporting and self-affirming, rather than dependent on the opinions or moral guidelines of others.” And this very much affirms his decision never to be violent again when he was ten.

In the same conversation as when Danny told me about the Roman Centurion looking at the map Danny exclaimed, “This also strikes a powerful chord within me: I have never run with the pack. I always seem to have been dancing to the rhythm of a different drum.”

King Herod Agrippa I (grandson of Herod the Great, who tried to kill the infant Jesus , nephew of Herod Antipas, who killed John the Baptist and examined Jesus on Good Friday and father of Herod Agrippa II, who heard the defence of Paul before Festus , acting probably in 42 AD, put the Apostle James bar-Zebedee to death, and imprisoned Peter with the intent of killing him also. The Herodian kingdom of Israel was a client state of the Roman Republic from 37 BCE, when Herod the Great was appointed “King of the Jews” by the Roman Senate. Herod died in 4 BCE, and his kingdom was divided among his sons. One of these quarters was Judea corresponding to the region of the ancient Kingdom of Judah.

On the 5th January, 2014 I went to view shamanically the last life of violence in Danny’s life. I was quite ill, but have always had an ability to push bad health to the side if I am doing any shamanic work. I saw this life as one where Danny was a Russian astronaut test flying rockets. This was in the future, about 2050 AD. I could see Russian forests and at first thought it was that great blast early in the last century, but soon realised this was in the future, but in the northern forests of Russia. The rocket spirals up, spinning like a top, up and out of our atmosphere, out of control but he never returns. Something went very wrong.

Danny’s communication to me on the 6th January, about this lifetime was sceptical. I find most people sceptical of future lives, but as I was trained by a Sandra Ingerman graduate, Terri Batten in looking at future lives and bringing back information I persevered. I was feeling much better than I did on the 5th January, so on the 6th January so I decided to have another look with my shamanic methods. If I believed that if I was wrong after years of successful shamanic healings of past life blockages to create a happier and healthier life for people I was in trouble. I did a ceremony which included a power song and an invitation to Jesus, Mary, Michael, Metatron and Zadkiel and the elements and guardians of my local environment.

I also called upon the runes. I had done a course of Scandinavian Shamanism in England in 2011 and we studied the Jotun Nine; the nine extra Northcumbrian runes in detail then. The rune that jumped out was Yr. It was associated with Ing the white hind and the qualities of sensitivity, discernment, concealment or secrets. It is also associated with silence, mystery and evasion. Deer evade danger by being invisible.  While horses live on the plains, deer prefer the forest for protection and camouflage.  So this rune was about cloaking one’s energy field.  The runes Yr and Algiz, the symbol of God throw an inpenetrable cloak over everything to avoid being scene.  I was told to look at the old Star Trek series where Captian Kirk “cloaked” the ship to avoid being seen by anyone, especially enemies.  When I looked in Danny’s chart this reminded me of Chiron trying to protect his beloved pupil and foster child Achilles when the Greeks were calling for men to go to Troy.  Danny had Chiron conjunct Mercury in his chart.

When I returned to the scene if the Russian astronaut in the future I was told that it was around 2,500 AD and Danny as the astronaut had kept going in the rocket. He returned home to Elor, a planet where he had come from in the past. This had been cloaked or kept secret so he could escape Russia and go back to his true homeland. Thus all the information from the rune Yr was relevant. When I asked Danny’s spirit why he originally came to earth and when from Elor he answered. “I came around 6,000 years ago to the Greek region. I worked with old Chiron. Like Merlin there were many Chirons. My job was to instil civilisation and higher knowledge to those people.

I asked why he returned to Elor he replied.” I had enough. I was tired. It was time to go back to my friends and relatives on Elor who stayed alive for thousands of years. On Earth we lived short lives. By the way when I left Earth an astronaut did not have to be middle aged. I was only twenty. By then we amassed knowledge easily at a young age. We remembered knowledge from past lives. We were far more evolved.”

I would suggest that this is a midpoint between Danny’s Uranus in Gemini in the 8th house and his Moon in Aquarius in the 4th house. The midpoint here is Chiron which connects to a date at 1021 AD. John Sandbach suggests that with Chiron at this midpoint that, “Your energy helps others to release pent-up energies, in the unconscious of other people and you help them to get more deeply in touch with their instincts. Also, you help them to experience life in a newer, freer way. You have the ability to free others from insecurities.”

When I tuned in on this life in 1021 AD Danny’s spirit tells me, “ Me and my associates are looking at a man’s brain. We are psychically studying his brain within his cranium. We are pinpointing our consciousness on the brain of this poor man. He has a tumour. He does not care whether he lives or dies. He actually is the youngest son of a nobleman and through debauchery he sinks to the lowest of the low. We, [Danny] and my friends are healers, secret healers and we have found this poor man. We dissolve his tumour through their healing focus, just our pinpointed beams of consciousness . Eventually he learns their healing arts and joins us. Transformation is possible for all.”

I had planned to make this article one on “Stelliums in the first, second and third houses, but after doing or viewing a few of Danny’s past and future lives in relation to his stellium planets I decided that just an article on stelliums and shamanic perceptions in the 12th and first house would be far more interesting.

Thankyou so much to kind-hearted Danny for working with me on this fascinating article. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

So as this is my first article for 2015, Happy New Year. I hope you have a year of love, joy, true happiness, prosperity and celebration.
